From a child, my father warned my sisters and I about the music industry - secular and gospel (especially gospel). So many people thought my dad was so deep when in fact he was simply teaching us to have a biblical worldview. The Body of Christ at large must awaken to the fact that:
    - this world is under the power of satan
    - Jesus is coming soon
    - the narrow path is really where life is
    - being biblically literate is vital, imperative & pertinent

      1. for many it's the genre chosen because they wouldn't have made it as r&b artists
      2. Key Word is industry. For many it is only a business and not ministry

I'm so glad the gentleman said that you can't leave the faith because that's what the bible tells us. If you are truly a Christian- Christ follower, you are saved and sealed until the day of redemption. 2Cor 1:20-22 John 10:27-29

This conversation was so validating to me as a woman watching and realizing that these men were enslaved to the point that they would want to pray for deliverance over strip clubs and pornography ❤ I was groomed by an ex to make videos with him that led to me having an OF Account. This gives me hope that I can be more valuable to a man than he ever found me. Thank yall for this conversation ❤

Sometimes people want to ruin your life because they’re evil and sometimes it’s because something was done to them… both cases they need to heal

    • @KingdomWoman333

Both cases they have been overcome by evil. It’s all evil. Yes, they are under confusion and evil influence but both are evil. Best thing you can do is pray and don’t be an evil influence in their life. People know right from wrong but when it’s engraved in you they can be overcome by evil and confusion causing them to believe nothing is wrong with how they live. I was once one of them and now I’m a new creation in Christ

Bishop Eddy Long tore me up, I thought he was going to help Keisha Cole and that was the eye opening for me, we will soon find the sincere hearts of the people of God when Jesus Christ church is built....because the preacher will have to always be available. Growing up as a Catholic and I know the Pope is way off point but when you need them they we're there. They lived on church property and you call they was available. Clothes money they didn't live that way. I thank God for what and why I found out the flaw in the Catholic Church. I had a nervous breakdown due to racism and sorcery and the woman who committed sorcery against me she died just the way I said she would, it hurt bad because I loved her as a mom, she was my neighbor who watched me grow up...then I was going crazy dealing with race

Same sentiment as most here. I started listening to the “vs.” a while ago. Then fell off from listening and as of recent started to listen to the podcast and this one was by far one of the best ones I’ve heard. I think a lot of it had to be the topic on overcoming sexual temptation and hearing honest, Christ fearing, black men…shoot MEN in general talk about it with sincerity and realness and hearing the victories with the battle. Keep it up. Y’all are finessing the algorithm and providing great content. Grace and Peace!

Everyone is loud mouth about what they want in a spouse. However, people will whisper about what they have to offer a spouse. The church is coming to marriage as a consumer like the idolatry of the culture. People are not merchandise. A real relationship with God is a process that comes with heavy realizations that God is the one true God, regardless of the idolatry of the land and human heart. A relationship with another human being comes with heavy realizations that that person is not your God, but the commitment to the process of both using that marriage to grow in God is essential.

It has been my first time of actually hearing most important listening to what you had to say. I was truly thoroughly blessed by your podcast. You all had a very candid, genuine sincere and transparent conversation. You had thought provoking insight very biblical compassionate soul searching heart felt concern about how you approached or responded to serious issues and topics. You Men are who deserves respect. You have stepped up to setting the bar high. All of you sharing very personal raw truth. It was a breathe of fresh air. The brother that spoke about not feeling like he didn't want to be here. All of you have a place, but I want him to know that YOU MATTER! You are fearfully and wonderful made and the L😂rd has you in his plan. You don't want to have Jesus cry or break his heart over you not being here. He would never leave or forsake you so don't you give up. Jesus is the one that has power over our life not us!!!! We have not been given that power to take our life. The enemy satan is a liar. You have to keep listening to the Lord love and his will to be done for you to keep going on not the liar!!!! I'm about to do a series on Men that are Rising Up! The points you shared were very helpful on what I will be addressing on a few issues and topics!🎉❤

Good discussion. My comment is about the clip of the relationship panel. I 100% agree with what she's saying because MOST women are complaining about this! Constantly meeting or entertaining men that lack Jesus, identity, vision, ambition, self discipline, etc.. She's NOT saying that man needs to give her a 5 or 10 year plan or even have a lot of money! She's pointing out that women THRIVE when there's security, which is true! The man doesn't need to have a step by step plan but he does NEED to be fruitful! The woman has to have something to work because we are called to help! What are we helping with when we don't know what's going on? No, we are not going to know everything because we aren't God, but that wasn't what she was talking about. It's crazy to just ask someone to merge their life with yours in hopes that things will just work out. No, there needs to be fruit and a goal.

A Christian/believer should or better know their limitations and the difference between supporting(participating) and fun. God wants us to have fun. He simply wants us to put him first you guys and wholeheartedly!!! Sometimes our fun/desires cost. Sometimes it cost some people their lives spiritually and physically. Have your mind, heart and spirit guarded and protected with the word of God and you will be just fine. It’s not that complicated. You just have to do the work it takes.

I agree that calling people out in the Christian arena is different from calling people out in the world. We have to have the right intentions. We're supposed to restore people to their former righteousness. The goal isn't to destroy their lives by exposing their sin as it is in the world. It's about accountability and calling them to a higher standard. When Christ wanted someone to stop sinning and be better, He covered their sins and told them to sin no more. He called them higher, to righteousness. If our intentions aren't to do that, calling them out will be motivated by satanic motives, unbeknownst to us. They definitely need to be out of their leadership positions but not destroyed and beat down. That's satan's job

Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. Romans 3:23 All have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD. I think the problem is in our preference and qualification of how great the sin or transgression is. The BIBLE should be the standard we use to measure and judge all things. Its standards lead to the possibility of redemption and salvation contrary to our emotions. I too struggle with knowing the violent acts and despicable sexual immorality people in this world have committed. It comes to mind those who witnessed Saul’s life before he met Christ on the road to Damascus. Great discussion, we have to continue to pray and ask for GOD’s Holy Spirit for discernment in these situations. My flesh and emotions sway towards and eye for eye, tooth for tooth. But I understand what his WORD says about this frame of mind. May GOD continue to pour out his GRACE AND MERCY on all of us.🙏🏾

Brothers, "BELIEVING friends" who support worldly (demonic) entertainers are hardly Believers. They are rebellious children to the word which says "love not the world neither the things that are in the world", & "friendship with the world is emnity with GOD"; aslo, "Little children, keep yourselves unspotted from the world", because YAHUSHA (JESUS) is coming for His Bride who will be without spot, or wrinkle or blemish.
We are to preach to & pray for them, be kind while abstaining from every appearance of evil.

This is why ALL BELIEVERS MUST WALK IN THE HOLY SPIRIT. When we do this you’ll never make yourself a sacrifice or compromise. Things and people will fall in place automatically. Sometimes some people move before God said to or didn’t say at all. The church buildings are businesses. Jesus isn’t . Church leaders and members are doing more of the physical exterior work than the internal work first. There is order of operation with God. People should and can be called out. You all and a lot of other shows aren’t doing it the correct way spiritually you guys. Hopefully, this helps. This is said with all the love of the Lord our God Jesus Christ.

The woman simply said the man should have a vision and plan for his life, and walking the plan out. The man should be the priest of his home- he should be. Comfortable in the scriptures. She said nothing about him being wealthy. Women follow the Man's leadership and vision. She gave examples- not demands. She spoke all truths. Via the bible's examples, the man is the provider, protector, and leader. She then said when a man does that, the sky is the limit. The wife will be his helpmate. She spoke of the wife's submission
The problem today, is that men are not getting ready for marriage. The men on the panel may have manosphere in their hearts.

I only heard it after skipping through radio channels.
Hiphop is full of evil messages put out there by so many artists, they claim they love the Black community, but they are really toxic!

The Gospel isn’t a “cultural thing” it’s Jesus, Period. The prosperity gospel on streaming and television is mostly white like Joel Olsteen and Kenneth Kopland, they don’t talk about the struggle. I don’t think that young lady actually read the Pilgrim’s Progress it sounds like just a talking point, because it wasn’t just a stuck in the mud moment, he battled Satan.

Guys, I think the Bible set a standard that we should be living by certain laws of the Bible people put it to the side like it doesn’t matter think about all of God people that was in wilderness with Moses, how many of them made it to the promised land how many apostles died a millionaire or a billionaire for that matter at my age, I’m trying to figure out the real truth and today’s pastors are not telling it. How are you gonna trust somebody with three homosexuals in the household at the end of the day, God is going to read our hearts let’s get it together

There’s a lot I’d want to respond to from this discussion, but I don’t wanna write a book on UA-cam. Lol.
    @ 21:30-22:05
Aside from ppl being a part of healthy communities of faith, where the Word is taught with power, sobriety, and integrity, and public podcasts, such as this one and others, where topics are discussed openly, there’s not too much else that can be done in the name of “calling ppl out” or “holding ppl accountable”.
I mean, what more can be done??
Raising awareness of ills…isn’t that what’s happening on this podcast?🤔…since y’all/we are talking about it?
I don’t think it’s necessary to go on witch hunts to prove that ppl are on some weird stuff; it’s usually pretty clear.
Of course, we don’t have to be simpletons and blindly follow foolishness, but we equally needn’t have our fingers on the trigger to attempt to correct issues/ppl we don’t have the relationship, proximity, or power to repair.
Furthermore, Jesus said to let the wheat and the tare grow together…and HE will do what needs to be done when the time comes. As believers, I don’t think we are as comfortable with that as we need to be.
Again…I’m not a fan of deception or theological dross, but I also don’t think it’s necessary or expedient to sound off publicly every time someone gives you an opportunity to.
To those we can impart truth to, we should…and then let the Holy Spirit work. And additionally, we should be ok with scripture being fulfilled in our face(s). When the Word speaks of a great falling away and deception being rampant, yes, we don’t want ppl to fall into that, but the Word is going to be fulfilled. We just need to make sure we are on the right side of that equation, as well as understand that there will be those who won’t be.
    Good discussion.

Congratulations to the baby, kindergartner graduation 🎉 Td Jakes was never my favorite, I never liked how he would have people running up on the pulpit dropping money. I reached out to his brother once on Instagram. He's never fit the description of a Bishop....he was quarrelsome boastful and as a Bishop, his children has to be chaste and not at all greedy for money....one day he told a guy that homosexuality he thinks they can co-exist. I told someone that he did have something to do with Kim's death what I'm thinking.... seriously I told my DJ before all this came out....my heart goes out to Diddy but hes not sincere what he did hes so use to doing wrong, they money....Al B Sure said he feels that he murdered kim porter her last post says it....all with the pink afro pick and diddy had a pink afro pick in a video and he looked nervous, and said God is a she.... Jesus Christ will vomit on Jakes....

Some horrible music out there, not going to any concerts…… Beyonce, Jay Z, Kanye, and even James Brown if he was living.
    James was abusive as well!
I’m older, ( 54)so I’m sure there are plenty artists from my days that have horrible music as well. It was probably more subtle back then.

Point blank, no minister or pastor of the gospel is to earn a salary from their church. Scripture says men are required to have a job outside of ministry. Not one person in scripture was on a salary. They all had jobs. Tell them to get a job like everyone else.
