Southern University achieved what no other visiting band has been able to do at Sanford Stadium: i.e., the crowd remained in their seats at halftime. That says a lot about their impressive musical and marching style.

Thank you, Southern University, for blessing the hallowed turf of Sanford Stadium with a performance for the ages by The Human Jukebox. I've now witnessed live the greatest of all-time...Herschel Walker and The Southern University Marching Band....Between The Hedges. My life is complete.
Was there to see in person, this video is great, but still doesn't give that experience justice. They were incredible.

It was great. The UGA fans were very nice and all they talked about was half time and the band. A few season ticket holders said the only reason they came in the rain was for the band. Great job Juke.... you rep the school and SWAC well!

I was working the game. ga fans were definitely applauding. southern human jukebox is the best band in the land. great performance. it was one in which the food stands wasn't too full. everyone was watching and enjoying every minute of the show. such an excellent job Mr. haymer and southern university human jukebox.
DAMN!!! What a dynamic band!! So glad the Georgia fans had an opportunity to experience the Human Jukebox live! I'm blown away every time I see them. I hope one day Southern will perform at Ohio State. The Buckeyes would definitely appreciate such marching precision and musicianship! Well done Southern, your hard work is greatly appreciated. And thank you UGA for so graciously welcoming the band!

Very proud of the jukebox!! I watched the game today and heard how georgia wanted the band there so bad that they made sure to express it in the contract!!! they never show halftime at SEC game, but they put a little piece in and gave you all a shout out!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!

the concessions stands didn't make no $$$ while the HUMANJUKEBOX was performing the halftime show, the vendors took a loss that weekend !!

I have been a fan of Southern for over a decade. They are one of the few bands that consistently delivers quality sound. The absolute BEST band in the South!🙋🙌

Awesome job, Human JukeBox... Not only a great representation of the university and band program, but an overall great representation of HBCU marching bands across the nation... This comment is coming from a former ASU- Marching Hornet and JSU- Sonic Boomer... Note the wonderful comments shared by others, not within the SU family... I trust that this same seed of action can be displayed by SU, to extend this same form of class and appreciation to other marching band programs that they face; especially within our great HBCU system.

Remember seeing this in person. Living down here, we weren’t used to hearing bands that loud. And the way they sound was just off the chain because it was so smooth and easy to tell what they were playing.
What I admire most of SU marching band is, in addition to their musicianship, is the Dancing Dolls keeping it clean and elegant
Usually on a beverage or bathroom break at halftime but I watched the whole SU show. Great job everyone, you are commended for a fine performance.
I wish I could've been there to support my human jukebox...I miss my days of marching. I know SU was grateful to have the opportunity to perform in front of The SEC...

The only one I can remember is Tennessee St playing Vandy. Both are in Nashville and both coaches dont mind that game.

yeah we were loud we all enjoyed the Juke Box. UGA also sent their private plane to baton rouge to pick up the injured player family and took care of the bill. Much respect for my UGA Dawgs

The three big guys dancing towards the end - priceless. That got the biggest audience reaction I've heard so far with a marching band.
I was at the game. I'm a huge dawg fan but I've been to the SU high school band camps all 4 years of my high school band career. I was hoping they would do the score at half time and they did. And I wish all of y'all could have seen the UGA fans reactions! It was amazing. I love the Human Jukebox!!!

In case you’re wondering, the band that started the “Put Down of Instruments on the ground to dance” was Tuskegee Marching Crimson Piper Band in 1972-73 season. We were cursed at, ridicule, you name it. However, we use to say, “The fans love it, and they did and given extended ovations everywhere our marching 150 went. Nice to see the respect across the HBCU spectrum. You’re Welcome 😇

I'm a huge UGA fan. I went there and so do both of my sons. This was a great day except for the terrible injury to Devon Gales. However, UGA has tried gather the Dawg Nation to support Devon, and there is a fund that you can give to. Even $10 will help if thousands of people contribute. Aside from that, the band was fantastic, and I spoke to several Southern fans who made the long trip from Baton Rouge. Extremely nice people and we all wish for them a successful season and from this day forward, injury-free.

@GarrettEdgerson, I'm continually impressed by the production value in your videos. Keep it up and work on the "panning" It's probably the camera itself but you know what you're doing. Slower pans will work better to prevent the "jelly" and other anomalies that take away from the video. Genius putting a GoPro on the Trombone player. That's excellence and stepping the game up!!! Kudos!!!
WOW! I'm baffled, how they're able to go out, and drill the games halftime score, without knowing it. There certainly wasn't enough time to practice something like that. Anyways, the band sound awesome, and the Dancing Dolls SLAYED that routine. They are truly AMAZING! Nice show Southern!
