@WiseUp89 I agree on the last comment. That is why Cypress Hill if you look closely did not show their faces on their first album because of stereotypes. They also didn't go after 1 type of crowd as LSOB centered their lyrics around Raza or Mexican American if you will. True Cypress sold more records but LSOB were right up there without any gimmicks.

As much as I like ALSOB,
I have to say that they weren't very successful on a mainstream level (compared to Cypress Hill).
From all the articles that I've read, they didn't get very far (for the whole American public) but I think they were pretty legit, then again Hip Hop has many prejudices and if you're not black, you're most likely not to succeed.
