Hey Guys, for all of those who are saying that they release in August 1st in the comments: Yes, they release on August 1st in the US and Canada, but everywhere else in the world, it’s June 1st. I understand if it may be confusing, but for me it very much is the June wave.
I think it’s a really awesome wave, but more like a big wave that started in January. See, in January there where a lot of smaller sets for younger children age ranged. Than in march we had a bit of a mix between small and large. And now I’m June we have basically only big/expensive sets except for the Zane bike. I like this a lot. Good balance true out the year for every ninjago fan with all different budgets. This wave I am definitely picking up the temple city and the temple arena. Maybe the mech and dragon later the year, because dang they look fire!
Nice video, I love these sets. My instant buys are Tournament Temple City and Tournament Battle Arena. The rest are not priority, I’ve grown to dislike the combo vehicle. It’s sooo overpriced. Not a great set as well. I’ve also posted my vids on these sets as well.
Fair enough! My instant buys are the same as you but with the source dragon. But I’m still gonna get the Zane bike and PROBABLY the combo vehicle day one. I recorded my thoughts on the first two sets back on the 29th when they were initially leaked, just so I could get this video out faster, and whilst initially I was in love with the combo vehicle, I’m not as excited about it as I was. I still really like it, but the Lloyd vehicle doesn’t really rock the exposed technic when it’s by itself and the price is just too high. Probably still gonna pick it up day one, but I’ve got a whole month to decide.
Cool, im gettin dragon, cuz its most expensive, im not crazy enough to buy the temple city. Combo vehicle is hideous, battle arena and zane's bike looks too small in my opinion. Im not a mech guy so pass cole's mech.
The designer of Cole's mech, who did Zane's titan mech, said this is going to be the most advanced mech and in order for him to accomplish what he set out to do, he included only one figure to save on the set's budget. The way LEGO designing works is that a set's budget is set first, then you are confined to designing something to fall within that budget. He maximized the budget and there was not room for a second figure as a result. He did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, it seems like this is also his last Ninjago set. Hopefully, the new mech designer will learn from what this guy did with Cole's.
Yeah - that post was made after I released this video, it’s made me feel happier with the set, though the one minifigure still makes it easier to wait for it.
@@Ninjagofan2024 no actually, those were more of a knife length, if you call them small, and the normal one big, these new ones would be medium, it’s not the same.
I also am probably going to get the tournament battle arena and save up for the source dragon and the tournament city but probably won’t get enough money for them both 🤣

Ok
He’s controlling the dragon
Well, we don’t know anything 100%, though yes, that seems to be the most likely thing.
I love so much how they started to produce katanas with shorter blades.
Yes! Such great pieces for more customisation!!!
Absolutely
Don’t want to ruin the mood, but those smaller swords are not new. They first appeared in the Ninjago Hunted sets
