Old football grounds were so beautiful and had so much character. The old Celtic park was one of the best but thankfully a brilliant job was made of the new stadium.
I used to pay £2.50 to get into the jungle as a kid, it's was mental, lucky to see half the game but the noise, it never stopped, I'm sure I got half cut just off the thick smell of alcohol all around me 😂, great memories, hail hail 💚💚💚
Never got to experience the old stadium as Iam only 20 but it would have been by the looks of things a really great place to go every other weekend ovlsy the new stadium is brilliant and for atmosphere it’s up there with the best but that old park had something to it

@@mcdell6970 so it's ok what Rangers did or just keep diverting because it happened more elsewhere? It's embarrassing that this is all yous knuckle draggers have to say now that Celtic are dominating Scottish football once again 🍀 🏆🏆🏆
Celtic were not just the first British team to win the European cup but the first northern European team no German no french no Scandinavian no Dutch, we were the first
My memories of the jungle will live with me until my last breath. The swaying fans lifting me off my feet and an atmosphere unrivalled in football. Great great memories.🍀.
Commentator left out Wullie Oneill the irish guy played for Celtic in them days and played up until Quarter or Semi final on lead up to that European cup final win in 1967 ..Willie O'Neill he was a nice guy i met in bairds bar in Lounge he worked way back . Rip to him and other Lions inc Tommy Gemmell there who took Willies left back place once back from injury .
Been there done that and stood in the shitole side of the ground as it was watching my beloved MAN UTD many times over the years both for friendlies and European cup.
Putting seats in the jungle was a last desperate action from a board in denial. God bless Fergus McCann who had the vision to give us a stadium to be proud of and oust that band of crooks.
Remember it well I was there... Jungle's last stand..🍀🍀🍀
That’s me as pinhead waving with my big buddy Tony Davidson dressed as Fred flint stone ha ha great memories 👍🏻🍀

When the team came back from Lisbon the jungle was being renovated so there was nobody in it
