So I have this very power strip and have used it for several years now. Today it suddenly stopped working. When I plug it in there are no lights. Cannot hold the button to reset like usual either. App just says device offline. I love this strip and just not ready to let it go. Any ideas what I could check or do to revive it?
Actually I do have a suggestion. At 10:16 I show the main side of the board and there is a small white fuse in the left hand side under the socket to the left of the relay(black box). That fuse may have popped from a power surge. It would need to be desoldered and resoldered, but that should do it. You may want to just check the fuse with an ohm meter first. If the fuse is open(very high resistance) then replace it, but if the fuse measures closed(low resistance like 1-0 ohms) then it might something in the power supply(circuit in the bottom left corner). I'd look for bloated or popped capacitors(The can things). if it's none of those, it might be terminal and time to replace it.
