Failure to read VIN is caused by the DME not the equipment- restored backup into another DME, now the VIN is identified without any issue.

So with original dme , I have to read isn, back up data, then plug to donor to write isn and restore data? I dont understand the step please help

Hey man, I am doing an engine swap right now. I got the FEM and MG1 and also an 8HP gearbox all from the same donor vehicle with the two keys. I want to adapt the VIN on those units to my VIN. Can this tool do this? Can I reach you somehow directly? Thanks in advance! Btw. I am located in Germany

like say a 2015 dodge charger unlock it so it can be tuned

I don’t really know the procedure of unlocking. For 2015 chargers HP tune, require for the pcm be mail to them and they will unlock it for tuning.
