Yes no reason why not. These are non bleed dyes which means the soap suds remain white. I would suggest mixing the mica with the ps80 before adding to the soap just to avoid powder spots. Good luck!
Yes I do but on the video it's goats soap but it's exactly the same process and out come they are both Stephensons products. What are you struggling with maybe I can help?
Hi. It's sprayed because melt & and pour tends to get frothy/bubbles in it. The spraying the alcohol dissolves all those bubbles fast then it doesn't dry like that. The reason it needs spraying more on one side iss I have immersed the sponge and squeezed it therefore like a normal sponge when you lather it we ith soap and squeeze it t by the soap all frothes out. This is the same events that happen. You will find most products you make with melt & pour need spritzes of alcohol to get rid of the bubbles. Hope that helps, if you if not you are welcome to ask more 🤗
It depends how much you use it. Personally I cut mine in half and use half at a time. Providing you don't leave it where it can get wet over and over i.e in the shower when others use the shower etc it should last 4 to 6 weeks.. Apologies for the delay
Hi. I personally just all between 2 to 5g of butter to mine. I state on the video what weights I am using but I can't give exact recipe as it is an assessment recipe that doesn't belong to me I'm sorry. I will try my best help with any questions you have
No you don't have to add a colour. You can use clear or white soap also. Whichever you decide to use your sponge will still come out the colour of your sponge. Good luck and hope all goes well x
Very helpful thank you xx
Oh I’ve just seen the recipe 🤣thank you
How do you get the oil smell out of the double boiler...I used Oud and despite washing it loads of times I can still smell it x
I have never had that problem if I'm honest. Maybe pop it in the dishwasher. Or cleaning with bicarb & white vinegar
If you only have mica powder to colour could adding a little polysorbate 80 prevent and dying of the bath etc. ?

Does it need to be a certain temperature before putting the fragrance oil in?
No I don't but then I never add any fragrance to anything over 75°c but it shouldn't really get to that heat
hi, how long does the soap stay in the sponge

How do you make soap sponge soft??
Sorry for the late reply. The sponge will harden that can't be helped but once in the shower the sponge softens up 🤗
@@bathhugs2152 the ones I buy never soften I run them under hot shower to lather up and still like a brick 😂😂
