I can't believe how emotional i am over this. This is truly the greatest game i have ever played in terms of impact on my life. I love this community and i'm so glad this was my first sonic game, or actual serious game. If it were not for this game, i may not be competeing in the tornaments or gaming contests that i do. The Sonics golden years were the 90's because his best games came out at THIS time, just like Sonic 1, 2, CD, 3, &Knuckles or Sonic Adventure. Sonic Unleashed's day stages were cool but the night stages were really annoying. Sonic Colours was good but the controls suck. Sonic Generations is very short but its biggest problem is the selection of levels. For example: to represent Sonic Adventure, they could have chosen Lost World (and I'm talking about the level and not the game, which was very bad). So no, those years weren't Sonic's golden years. And even if Sonic Mania is not a Sonic Team project, it is still much better than these three games.
Mangeur DePizza Sonic Colors was the last tolerable Sonic game. Same thing is gonna happen with the Sonic Movie. It worked great with Sonic X, but the live action just won’t. Honestly they should’ve just gotten in touch with the guy who made Nazo Unleashed and paid him for the right to make a movie out of his series of videos. That would’ve been taken so much better and Jim Carey wouldn’t have to be the only reason people go to see that movie

the amount of times i played sonic colors back in 2014 is *uncanny* and i got frustrated, happy, sad, all kinds of things by the aesthetic and concept of the whole thing, and seeing just the into in 2021 honestly brings me to tears.
If there is one thing I miss about this version of Colors. It's how the environment reflects on Sonic, sometimes he gets an orange tint, sometimes he gets a purple tint, it's small but it is a cool effect. In Ultimate that doesn't really happen or at least as much. Sonic is always bright on all sides lacking the coloration he had on the original.

For the ones who hate the filler acts: There exists a mod for this game called "Sonic Colors DX" that gets rid of the filler acts so you can play the game as how it was intended to be. Please note that some of the original acts are still splitted up, so you have to wait for an update that mashes them together. Another note: You need to have a modified version of Dolphin to run it.
I just want to say Sweet Mountain is a very underrated and amazing zone that just doesn’t get talked about enough. While it’s not my favorite in the game I just want to represent its epicness

the amount of times i played sonic colors back in 2014 is *uncanny* and i got frustrated, happy, sad, all kinds of things by the aesthetic and concept of the whole thing, and seeing just the into in 2021 honestly brings me to tears.
If there is one thing I miss about this version of Colors. It's how the environment reflects on Sonic, sometimes he gets an orange tint, sometimes he gets a purple tint, it's small but it is a cool effect. In Ultimate that doesn't really happen or at least as much. Sonic is always bright on all sides lacking the coloration he had on the original.
I wish ultimate had that except just remaster the textures but keep the colors the same
i remember finally getting this like 2 years ago & being so happy !🥰 Im probably pathetic for not having the game since I was child , but I couldn't really afford Sonic Colors at the time . But i did for sure love listening to Reach For The Stars , watching the cutscenes of this game && being extremely amazed by watching gameplays of this 💙💙 I honestly do love sonic colors with a passion , its highkey a great underrated game 🥺💙

Man starlight carnival was frustrating but what paid of was that I was able to play the beautiful planet wisps
This game brung back so many memories since i was around 6 years old playing this. Especially that candy level! Oh man i remember the good ole music in that. I wish i still stuck to the wii

For the ones who hate the filler acts:
There exists a mod for this game called "Sonic Colors DX" that gets rid of the filler acts so you can play the game as how it was intended to be. Please note that some of the original acts are still splitted up, so you have to wait for an update that mashes them together.
Another note: You need to have a modified version of Dolphin to run it.
