- Landon has a long road ahead but we spent the day recovering from surgery in comfort and style! How we love this kids resilience and fight! He was already back on his feet and learning to walk again as he is anxious to get back to normal life but it is a long road ahead!

I assume he will have physical therapy when he gets home, then he will get better in ways you can see, and ways you can't. He is such a sweet and smart kid! That is just Texas! Sounds like you met a lot of Native Texans! So glad the doctor you needed was here. I am not surprised by that as Houston has some of best hospitals and doctors in the world! Galveston isn't the fanciest beach, but we love it anyway! Lots of great food in Galveston! Hope you liked the Shipley's Donuts. You should come back again and visit Port Aransas an island by Corpus Christi. Landon is such a beautiful child, inside and out! So proud of him and his determination to get better. He is so brave at just 10 years old. I remember trying to get my 16 year old to walk at the hospital after his appendix burst. He didn't want to at all until he found out it would get him out of the hospital faster. I agree that it was really special getting to have the vacation with just him. I am sure that he will always remember this time he has had and I truly believe it will be very special and happy memories. He could relax more I am sure without the other kids around, even though it is obvious how much they love him.
I am here in Cancun waiting on our lunch reservation but had to get in my "Our Life in Holland" fix haha

Landon is a Trooper and awesome that he wants to get home and seeing his siblings and sleep in his own bed. I sent package for him to share with his siblings and you guys. So heads up for that is in the next few weeks.

Oh man the first couple of days are always the hardest days I have had 24 surgeries myself, I will be praying that his pain gets better soon!! What a trooper!! Safe travels home!!

I wish we had good donuts. Only donut shop in our state is Krispy Creme, they are good but we have to travel 14 hours round trip at 70 mph. That is the nearest one to were I live. So I do not get a donut very often.

Hey Our Life In Holland. There is one way Landon can get into the water with a hard cast. Get a garbage bag. Open the bag and get his leg (with the cast on) and then tie up the bag to make it waterproof. If you want to know more on that method, let me know and I will send you a personal DM or email with more detailed infomation with that method.
I suffer with muscle spasms and it can get painful but thankfully because I am also a content creator, I am able to keep myself comfortable.

What can I say that I have not all ready said. You are doing great young man - just look at you everyone is looking forward to you getting back on your feet and being involved in all you want to do. AS I have said - "CHIN UP" man. All that pain will ease up for sure. I think you will be an inspiration to many people that watch this and you are that inspiring to many in the future. When you get home be sure to get Dad to look up all the music that I posted to you in the past few days - Landon you will love it - the "Millenium Song" is something for you all, it might also be a surprise for all. I truly believe God gives children with disabilities to strong parents, Landon is so lucky to have Lindsay and Justin as parents but they too are just as lucky to be his parents!
As a coastal town, How about Zandvoort. coast town, and formula 1 cirquit ? and the weather here is not that good most of the time, so maybe a coast in the USA is better.

Landon is such an inspiration. I have been in a wheelchair for over 5 years and am going to PT twice a week to work on walking. He is an incredible young man
i can't help but be partial to any of the beaches in Florida. I remember the pain the day after I broke my left kneecap which I ended up having surgery late that night to repair it. I woke up that morning to more pain than what I think that I experienced the day I broke it.
