Oooh that looked pretty grim 🙈 but you should try Reel Fish & Chips in Bolton next time you’re up around Manchester. Highly rated by the locals up there and on point every time 💯
Derby isn't as hot with food spots as some of the bigger cities or towns, they've not really gone "creative" with the menu's yet. If you want a good halal fish and chips in Derby - Zan Fish is the one, try the one in Littleover village, the guys got 5 shops in Derby. MK'z is hands down my favourite burgers in Derby. Love the donner loaded fries. Delizia's do excellent pizza, they also do a nice chicken tikka and chips with cheese. Haroon's do a lovely kebab, McTurks kebabs are a cult favourite in Derby too, in my opinion not as awesome as they used to be but still VERY good. You've done Yum Burger before, the original is in Derby. Across the road from there you've got New desi dera who do an excellent Karahi. I also have really enjoyed the breakfasts at al mehrab karahi. I've been told they do a top karahi too, but have not tried it myself yet. Saddlers is a childhood favourite for many people, kind of like how kids love Dixy when in reality it's a bit blurgh! 🤮 The nostalgia factor plays a big part.
Saddlers is not not the best, BUT it defo aint as bad as ur review. The things u sed were dripping with oil, they'r obviously fried in oil/fat. The dripping part normally only happens when something has just come out the fryer. Henny Penny advise that you should hold chicken for 10 mins before serving it so that the oil can drain off. They've obviously given u extremely fresh...
It could be a bad day or they really need to use less oil in their foods, too much oil can make food unsavoury and it’s been seen here. As well as that more fresh food needed. It’s great to be honest rather than always try back the business love the analysis
Sorry bro. Can’t help with good places in Derby. I’m subscribed hoping you’ll be help find some for me haha😅 when I visit family up there it’s always a bit dead
Please go to Burton On Trent there is a place called Edwards Fish Bar on waterloo street its hands down the best fish and chips that i have ever had get the mushy peas and the curry sauce i promise you brother you will not regret it, it really is 10/10
That looked seriously horrible, extremely oily and disgusting. I live not to far from Derby (Nottingham, to be precise) and go there quite a bit. I don't think there are that many great places to eat there including Normanton Road and Peartree Road
@@HEYMANFOODREVIEWS. Salam. Bro, seen you eating many times in the car. How come to this day you still haven't got a tea tray in the boot of the car on standby. You need one of them if you want to eat quite comfortably in the car. Also, stops things from getting dirty like the seats and dashboard. Get a nice size one so you can put everything on it, instead of driver seat and dash.
They’re very inconsistent, spent some time there; there’s another Saddlers in Derby which people like besides the one on Normanton Rd. Btw 5 mins from there on St Thomas Road try Desi Karahi, I haven’t been there for ages but every time it was great; try the Sheek Kebab + Fries as starters, then Lamb Karahi is amazing, even the Tarka Daal, and also Keema Naan and especially their paratha. Besides them, try Monmos in Derby and as you said MK’s is fantastic
I first tried this in 2010 and it was disgusting then. At least they’re consistent in keeping standards low.
Lol

@@HEYMANFOODREVIEWS The Khyber Pass which was opposite Pak Foods on Normanton Road used to be the go-to place back in 2000 until 2010
I litrerally hate fish & chips its either to pricey or its a piece of crap like this place Ali went to.
Homemade are the best fish and chips

People need to stop being culty to their local chippy 😂😂.
Sometimes nostalgia, really blinds us. Just look at Salahs in Bradford.
