So many of these or local or at least regional, especially some of the store chains. I never saw them back in the day. Except for Toyota and McDonalds.
It's evidently Nancy Cartwright (the voice of Bart Simpson) in that second Payless commercial at 12:00. (I didn't recognize her on my own, but I heard it somewhere on UA-cam.)
Alpha Beta went through this period where they would advertise big sales on random non-grocery items. This ad was for pantyhose, I remember another one from around this time period that was for batteries. Strange for a supermarket. Compare that to Lucky or Ralph's, where they advertised groceries.
Both of those TZ episodes were great! The elderly people death cruise with Joyce Van Patten and Alfred the butler from the 1966 tv series. And Martin Balsam as a collector of mannequins that he believes come to life and kill people.
Miss these simple days 😔
I miss those days too. Wish we can turn back time and get away from this pandemic world.

SOLARBABIES I don't care how epic you try to make that title sound, it's still gonna be ridiculous.
