You have become so good at teaching the horse and the human. Your narratives are getting more in depth and informative for your viewers. Great job! I love watching the horses progress but your journey is inspirational.
Love watching you train! I like how you talk through things especially when you think you could have done something a little different and how you approach difference horse personalities. Also watching you has help me so much with my horses and I'm proudly training my second mustang for a TIP Challenge in Idaho.
15:21 is SO imporant I think - some people would take this and rush to try to tie it on since they got so far. But the fact that you took it off and released is huge and that is so important in the haltering process
Loved how you greeted him with 'hi friend' at one point and since he is from Diamond, how about naming him Diamond's Friend 🙊 absolutely love watching you two in your sessions!
As someone who just took in three mustangs as a favor for my friend. (Their granparents lost their property and had a lot of rescues) This has been insanly helpful. None of them are halter broke and Ive only worked with Saddle breds and Quarter horses before.
Sooooooo valuable video!! Thank you so much! You are very calm, respectful and understanding for horses that you are changing my way of working with them! Greetings from Poland!
I think for right now if he came in my bubble I'd be ok because he's curious not pushy.. I don't think he's kicky even I'd he spins around, because he turns back to front quickly. He's such a good boy. He tries..he may jump or duck but he recovers quick, and isn't terrified, I think he's just really " talky" with the snorting, we had one called Jethro because of the song locomotive breath ..lol
This is so helpful how you explain each subtle step. What do you do when the horse DOES become totally distracted by other horses and you can’t get them to pay attention to you? Would you make him keep moving?
