Those are some great prices compared to more popular models on the market. And using the portable battery is a great idea assuming you remember to disconnect from the car when your not running the engine for a long period of time. Seems a bit big for your jeep though. 😅😅
Man I wish we had this tech 15-20 years ago. I was so tired of hauling giant coolers of ice everywhere. Now its finally getting affordable for most everyone.
Agreed! I've travelled across country to CT to CA to FL and back to CT, had a smaller fridge and wished I had one this big! I could remove the wheel kit and tow handle, I think it would fit like my old one. I may try it

Once you add the solar i'd be great to see if it can keep up keeping the battery charged and running the fridge. If it can keep the setup going for at least 2-4 days without having to start the jeep I think you have a total win there.👍👍
I'm curious myself, 100 watt panel should put.out 60 watts in decent sunlight ... Only issue is I have the roof rack bar that would cast a shadow in the middle. I have 2 35 watt panels in my side windows I may put up too instead
Cheezy's gonna turn into a hotdog! When we do hotdogs and burghers on the grill at my older brothers house my mother loves to get the big packs of the Aldi Parkview brand. They're decently priced and taste pretty good. But when it's just us here at the house we like the Glazier redskin franks. They're good hotdogs, but they're too expensive to give to fussy kids who like to waste food. The Aldi hotdogs are more cost effective.
Also as a suggestion, if you do add an auxiliary battery to your Jeep invest in a large AGM battery for a truck instead of a normal lead-acid battery. They're expensive, but the AGM batteries are designed to work in more sever conditions and able to power more electronic devices for longer. So they're worth it in the long run, especially with your adventure seeking and camp-outs. :)
I plan on an AGM. I like the red hot dogs too.
@@MotoCheez I'm eventually going to switch the stock battery in my truck over to AGM. Even being a 2020 it struggled when we had those subzero freezing temps last winter. All the computers in it didn't like the lack of power one bit.
People say to put lithium, no way with the cold up here. They're worthless in sub 0 weather
@@MotoCheez The lithium batteries are nice, if you're putting them into a motorcycle. In that case you can either keep them plugged into a charger or take it indoors. One won't be going in my truck. It gets way too cold and won't hold a charge for long. People like the lithium batteries for weight savings, but I don't need to save weight on my truck. An AMG it will be because they're designed to work in harsh conditions like you'll for in trucks and Jeeps. :)
Even for motorcycle, had many say they won't start in the winter. Like a dead battery

Looks decent👍 our government just doubled our electric and gas bill so I've just swapped the house over to 12v and that looks ideal rather than keeping the big house one on 24-7 with only milk, butter and bacon in it 👌

Yeah got about 2k in panels and eight 130 amp leisure batteries, I'm a man of few needs , since most tv's under 32 inch and internet routers are 12v it made sense, I only really watch my tablet and that's usb, I've got inverters too but that's just to charge tool batteries and my electric bike, got a kickass Rockford fosgate car audio system in the house that I've had to have thumping all day to burn off the excess because we are heatwaving pretty good at the moment and I don't trust my cheap Chinese charge controllers to not cook the system yet as it's all new . 😂 sorry bud I got arseburgers and tend to over share and ramble...But hay, the algorithm right 😂👍

I would say yes, they are little better quality and their customer service and warranty is also better. They are pretty big name actually for refrigerator coolers

How long does it keep it's temp after it's unplugged
Quite a long time. I unplugged overnight and the bottle were still frozen
