I didn't think I would like Imogen but honestly that smile she gave Nick when he held Charlie's hand on their field day was just so precious 4:35 it seemed so pure, genuinely happy, and supportive. I think after Nick told her what he was going through she really grew on me here at 2:40 she just seemed to take it so well and I really thought her character was gonna have a whole "scorched Earth" arc about how much she hates Nick for "standing her up" but she just seemed so sweet, bubbly, and down to earth.
I think they were just friends for so long that when she realised he didn’t feel the same about her, she didn’t want to lose their friendship, as they seem to genuinely like each other. I think Nick would have likely headed things off after the party but I don’t think he expected Imogen to ask him out like that in front of anyone and so he probably thought he had some time to have a heart to heart of sorts.
I feel like Imogen is one of... If not Nicks only real friend outside of the group with Charlie. Shes so playful with him, and then understanding when he opens up to her on the bench, and then she helps buffer Harry's comments about their date .. and then she's so happy for him when he leaves sports day with Charlie
The only bad thing that Imogen did was lie about how she and Nick are together. Except for that, she didn't do anything wrong. She was just a girl who had a crush on her best friend. So don't hate her.
yeah even do she was kind of annoying it wasnt on porpouse,she is one of those people that doesnt know until someone tells her to stop,but besides of that she is a good friend and of course a true ally :)

know there are people who want Sebastian Croft to return but don’t want to see Ben Hope rehabilitated, and really would be happy to never see the character again except they like Croft. I think Imogen is going to be the friend Nick needs from his old group of friends (because he needs his own friends, just as Charlie has them, as well as their shared friends in Tara and Darcy), and the fact is Imogen is friends with Ben Hope. I wouldn’t be surprised if her support of Nick and Charlie doesn’t have an impact on Ben… perhaps even causing him to come out to her, opening the door for him make some progress with not only his self hatred but the toxic way he’s dealt with it (even if he doesn’t come out to her).

Why does he seem so uncomfortable around her
Because she likes him and he likes Charlie
he did in season 1, but imo i think their friendship grew a lot more after he opened up to her about him being bi & stuff (+ with charlie)
