From my understanding variety shows used to be more stiff before BigBang. Idols tried to look all cool , keep a nice , good image then BigBang arived just having fun , goffing around and changed things. They were not afraid to not look perfect and cool 😊

I think the video you're watching has some subs cut or something cause I remember seeing the whole conversation about the club subbed. I doubt its because of the "scandals" unless is a new upload and they actually did edit it cause of it. Regardless of that I don't think the club they were talking about was the one in the scandal. Seungri owns some clubs & is share holder in others, and on top of that like he says here he doesn't run the businesses he has people administrating most of it so he's more of a money investor most of the time.
