As a Barca fan I had no hope before the recent draw but now my delusions are running wild after seeing the bracket. I think it’s about 50/50 against PSG but they have the scariest player on the planet, we should have the advantage against Atlético/Dortmund and then most likely lose the final either way, but we would ofc stand a chance against Madrid just because it’s a Classico and maybe Arsenal

The issue with atleti rn is that we are in a transition period where we are trying to play more attacking oriented bringing in younger players. The issue with this is that we can’t park the bus like we used to resulting in having a higher ceiling while having the potential to wet the bed when the younger players aren’t popping off. When the bus is parked and not everyone is on the same page bad things tend to happen

Also, if we look at the Bundesliga table more recently, Bayern Munich will most likely ended up not finishing 2nd. They were tied on point with VfB Stuttgart and ONLY 7 points ahead of RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund, who had 53 points tied.

Barcelona vs Manchester City Final would be the interesting one. Imagine Xavi winning the Champions League against Manchester City with his own "old father", Pep Guardiola, at Wembley, or Robert Lewandowski and Ilkay Gundogan losing another Wembley Final with the same club, just as they did with Borussia Dortmund in 2013.

Dortmund didnt collapse last year, they gained a lot of points on Bayern in the second halve of the season and just didn't win the last game

Hope we won't lose it if we actually reach it... I won't survive 3rd lost final in the last 10 years. Seriously, I'm 17 but I've witnessed the 2014 and 2016 finals and they still hurt to this day😢. Who the hell deserves it more? We've literally survived through hell with our Atleti, the fans that are a bit older theen me remember the dark times in 2nd division and still Calderon ( which I miss so much, I was lucky enough to be able to have my first memories with Atleti there. Well, I wasn't able to go there, I'm from Bulgaria and I got to see Atleti at the stadium for the first time againnst Betis a few weeks ago, but still) was more than full. Nobody deserves a UCL more than us, I'm not saying it because I'm an Atletico fan, but because it's the truth. If anything, the fans and Cholo deserve it.❤🤍

this guy you brought in clearly has good knowledge for Premier League and la Liga but not bundesliga at all...a common problem to be honest. i'd bet he was one of those people who kept believing that Dortmund would lose each game in group F only to be proven wrong multiple times. it is clear when people dont understand what circumstances/players bayern and dortmund need to be at their best. dont write off either of them as yet.

Who ever the 2nd guy is clearly didnt do his homework when discussing PSG as he stated Soler & Ruiz as the midfield. Wrong Vitinha, Zaire Emery, are the main 2. Ruiz will probably be the 3rd but Soler has never been a starter at Paris.

As an Arsenal fan, I don't care whether it's the EPL or the UCL, I just want them to win one of them.
Neither path is easy by any stretch of the imagination, but on paper, many people are touting their side of the bracket as the side with the better teams, and them as one of the weaker of those, and and underdog factor can work in their favour.
I agree that getting past Bayern, while doable, will be challenging. If they face Real Madrid, the semis will be far more difficult, but if they face Man City, I think they have what it takes to get past them. Between the Community Shield and their two matches this season in the EPL, they've proven they can stymie City to no end, so I could see that series being decided in penalties, and I'm sorry, but Raya is a better keeper than Ortega.
If Arsenal somehow get to the Final, it'll be a Wembley, so it might as well be a home game for them.
If Arsenal were to win the UCL, though, my hope would be that it would be against Barcelona in the Final. The poetic justice that would bring, would be chef's kiss.

As a german bayern fan, I dont think we will reach the semi final. Arsenal wasnt that great so far in the CL either and they have a very unexperienced team ( might be an advantage) but bayern is so god damn awful for pretty much 2 years straight now, especially our defence. Bayern 2012-2017 and 2020 would win against this arsenal in two games ( they would at least be the favorit) because they were on the same level as current city , but definitely not bayen 22-24, we are lightyears away from our prime. It is football so everything is possible but very unlikely.

The only one I'm confident on is Atletico over Dortmund.
Psg have a much better squad over Barca and really shouid be brushing them aside, but I don't know, I wanna go with the fun option of barca knowing it's less likely. To be fair, psg shouldn't have even made it out the group, so who knows what's more likely.
I believe Arsenal are focused too heavily on the league for them to overcome a bayern side who, yes have performed less than adequately this season, but have a great tournament coach who's won this before and it's all the club have to play for. Plus, Kane always performs against Arsenal.
Lastly, as much as I don't want to say it, I think Madrid will win this tie against City. They're running away with la liga and City have to dig in hard to win the league this year and are also still in the fa cup. Yes, City were in a much similar situation last year, but they're not preforming to the same standards, especially not Haaland.
So that means I would have atletico vs barca and bayern vs madrid in the semis, in which I choose atletico to advance and, uh, honestly no clue between bayern and madrid. Uhh, bayern I guess cuz, idk. Then atletico win it cuz, that'd be nice to see as a fun option plus Kane curse.
