Kervin, this is Norbert. Your Lempira got a great review from Chrispy Things today. Chris even preferred it over his Houbei 7 Seas. He praised your dedign and especially the rear quick access slot, which he said was superior to his Houbei. Well done. You're getting more exposure here in the States.
Wow! Thanks you for letting me know. I have not yet seen the video. That is incredible because Open Sea is also an amazing wallet maker. Makes me feel humble :)
Thank you!!! I was afraid of UA-cam comments, but you guys rock. I love this community, all the positivity. I really appreciate it 🙏🏻. The Zela is surely a beautiful wallet. I love it myself. Have you seen the mini version, very pretty too.
Lovely design. I really appreciate the thought that goes into these, and that you are willing to cater to my fellow lefties. This is probably my favorite design so far. I love that you sprinkle in the historical notes and inspiration in these videos too. Well done.
Thank you for your kind message, feedback, positivity overall. Yes, a lot of thought went into the Lempira Wallet. Have been testing it myself for a few weeks. You would love it indeed :)
As a fan of Open Sea wallet designs (especially the 50/50, Houbei & Top Sider) I really like your version here. I'm in the market for a wallet after not having one for a few decades now. Your design is the only one I found that's a legit contender next to OSL Co. Great job! I'd like to see your version of the 50/50. My ideal wallet has the flap fold over design like this one, but also has a slim very slim side profile. When it comes time for me to pull the trigger, it's going to be a very tough decision. Can you customize your wallets based on reasonable customer requests?
Thank you for your comments. Glad you like my designs. No, I don't do special customizations because they take a lot more work that at the end it is not worth it in terms of time and value for my work. I used to do this, but I quickly learn that it is not worth the extra stress and work. Hopefully you still find something that fits your style on my website though 🙏🏻
@@PateplumaCo. Understood. No worries. When I say customization, I mean something minor, like a thumb hole slide on an exterior quick draw card holder.
Hello, beautiful Lempira wallet. Can you tell me the specific color and leather type combination of all 3 types of leathers including the thread color you used on the first right handed model you show in this video. What is the difference between the waxed Petrol (pullup) and the Petrol (non-pullup) leathers?
Thanks for reaching out! Of course: I offer three types of leathers: 1) Buttero 2) Pueblo and 3) Waxed leathers. The pull ups are the ones saturated with oils that if you pulls them, it creates a lighter spot. The non pull-up petrol is only but doesn't create those lighter patterns, a more suttle oily leather. I only offer this one because I love the petrol look. All leathers are best quality from top Italian tanneries and as for threads: I have many colors: white, yellow, black, browns, greens, blue, dark red, beige...to give you an example. The last two photos of each product slide show on my site will show you all the types of colors for leathers and threads. Hope this helps. Best wishes :)
Kervin : after watching this vid again, I agree with you about having the flap go inside the second leather layer. I think it is a cleaner and more finished look. As much as I love the Yohoa with the thumbslot, adding stitching adds to the aesthetic and again I agree with you to balance the 2nd color with the same color stitching. Can't wait for my Zela! Norbert
Hi Norbert, yes, I love the look with the tuck in closure. But it requires a bit more work to do. So I am happy that when you are paying for something in a hurry, you can also quickly close the flap in that extra piece of leather in the front (where the logo is stamped). This way is also beautiful but Functional. As for the Yohoa Wallet, also incredible. I love the look but also the feel. I agree about the stitching, but you have to feel the Yohoa in your hand to know how that curved leather feels. Very comfortable to the touch without the stitching. All the colors of the rainbow are pretty ;)
Hi, unfortunately, I don't have an Amazon account. I like my wallets to be a bit more special than just one more product on Amazon. Hope you understand. Maybe in the future, but for now orders must be placed on my site. But my site is quick and simple..please reach out if you have any questions. Lovely to hear that you like the designs :)
"I like when customer order the colour of the flap matches the threads because it gives more balance" proceed to have his personal carry with black flaps+red threads 😂
Haha good point 😊. My own carries are prototypes...so I experiment with my own wallets :) Often my customers receive better wallets than the ones I carry. I take one for the team, in other words.
Ah, hi Norbert. Indeed, you are right. Exept that he had Olmo pueblo leather inside too, but the outside colors, yes. You are both men of good taste :)
Maybe in the future. I live in Europe and use it, and love this wallet though. If you don't mind folding bills in halves or thirds, you can still enjoy it. It depends on your carry. Thanks for commenting 🙂
Open Seas is amazing. You should buy their wallets too. No, I am not copying them, this wallet is extremely different in how it functions and in how its built. Believe me, I own most of their wallets. But I take it as a compliment because Open Seas is my favorite brand after mine :) Maybe you see the slope of the pockets and think of their Houbei. Fair, but that's where comparisons end in my opinion. I own both wallets and they are both very different experience. Mike at Open Seas is great though. I tell my customers that they should support him before anybody else because he has been a sort of inspiration to many of us.
@@PateplumaCo. I think you’re wallets are beautiful, and have very creative designs. I particularly love your more original wallets. But this one, with all due respect. Just looks like you moved the cross stitching from the left side of the Houbei and moved it to the bottom. That’s the only significant change. Yes the cuts may be slightly different but that doesn’t make this a completely original design. Anyways don’t waste your time replying to me, wish I could do what you do. Keep up the good work, I’ll definitely purchase a wallet from you in the future. Just a fan of good design.
@@urieladair8696 thank you 🙏🏻. Like I said, I love Open Seas so I am not offended haha. I can assure you this wallet is very different than theirs. But I can admit that the GreNi wallet was indeed inspired from their GunDeck. It's my own take on the first wallet that made me love wallets. But even so, the back is very different and the internals too. But I am not afraid to admit when a colleague inspired me. With the Lempira Wallet, you are wrong. The Houbei was never in my mind when I spent days and even weeks working on each milimiter of its design. Please follow me on Instagram for me to share photos and even videos of the behind the scenes of how this wallet is made. Very different. Cheers and happy to interact with you. Feedback, comments are always welcomed and this what I love and how I learn. My take is: get a Houbei and get a Lempira. You won't regret it 😇
Someone has a really good taste. That particular Olmo on his wallet from the U.S is looking really great
Thanks for your comments 🙏🏻

Another great handcraft. I have 3 different wallets made professionally with love.
Wonderful!
I really like your version of this design. I've seen a lot of different versions of this style of wallet. But I'm really impressed with this one
Thank you 😊. I personally love the capacity and how you can have fun choosing up to three leather types and colors. Glad you like it!
You are knocking it out of the park with these designs!!!
My Zela is the best wallet I have ever had.

@@PateplumaCo. Yes, the mini looks fantastic. I do like the ability to get my cards out of the full size without undoing the snap.
@@EverBlueLakes I can imagine... that's a nice feature and an unfortunate compromise.
This is a very ingenious design. I like the way cash does not need to be folded. Very nice!

I'd buy that for a Lempira!
Sorry, that's a joke based on a old American pop culture reference. 😅

Man I'm loving your designs, I'm debating myself between this one or the Zela mini as I love small, compact wallets, but this one is gorgeous.
Thank you. You consider nice options :)
