Glory be to the Most High God! On the 4th of May, I applied for an apprenticeship with the NHS. A month later, on the 6th of June, I was invited for an interview. I recalled a word of encouragement from my sister Yemi, who reminded us to be prepared for whatever we are trusting God for. Inspired by her words, I prayed earnestly, asking God to renew my mind and help me overcome the spirit of laziness. I shared my heart with God, explaining why I desired this apprenticeship: “It will allow me to earn while I learn and attain a degree. It will also give me the opportunity to move to a new city and start afresh, as the city I live in now feels like a wilderness, bringing back memories of loneliness, depression, and failures.” I asked God to have His way and take control. On the 10th of June, I received a phone call informing me that I had been successful and was offered the apprenticeship. Praise be to the Lord who has answered my prayers! I pray that He answers the prayers of everyone who reads this testimony, in Christ Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen.
