Great interview and glad that LA's Iconoclast and Diatribe had contact back in the day. Paco's drumming is so intense it needs a lot more recognition, just like guitarist licks. I finally saw Conflict at Long Beach one rainy night with huge riot police escort waiting outside, then again in LA a few years back in a tiny venue on Sunset....that was so packed haha. My friend's older brother taught me guitar through Conflict riffs/music at the age of 13 and since I have been a fan. Great legacy. Keep up the positive work Colin and Jay Lee.
Saw them at Carlisle Stars and Stripes and Newcastle riverside Leeds Adam and eves Bradford Victoria hall and the gathering of the 5000 Brixton academy what a riot. Brings back loads memories ( tough shit Micky) and RIP paco
for me the Final Conflict lp is their last great lp - the first side of the lp is incredible - I along with a friend followed Conflict around in the early days when they had Steve as the guitarist... great blokes, all of them & knew Colin really really well.... still have all their releases up to & including The Final Conflict
Now it's actually illegal for a band to play music or for people to turn up and listen to it.... I'm wondering what the punk bands plan to do about it? The 70s and 80s were nothing compared to the time we live in. We had it easy in comparison.
Brilliant interview, cant wait for the new album & book
Great interview from you both. Good to see Colin looking so well. Increase the pressure tour in Aberdeen, Scotland 1985(?). Eye/mind opening. 👍

Just them in pittsburgh...love you fellas!! Animal liberation!!!
Last time I saw Conflict it was at the Feeding the 5,000 gig at Brixton. I got nicked. As did many others.
Hiya, what came of it David? Sounds interesting......
I remember it being in the news. "punks rioting" etc. Beived none of it. Sadly I missed that gig. Few of my friends went.
