Man !!! My dream car 🚘 👍🏼 ?
I got a 1972 Nova for sale
i love Chevy
how many people other than me listened to the part at 3:41 more than 5 times ?? !!!
I see nova I like.
This car is set up perfect 👌
My dream setup!! Great video!
everyone loves the 383 stroker engine... probably more than the 350
midnitesquirldog1 depends on what size big block it is and how the big block is built. no way a buick 350 stroker can beat my mild 496. not enough cubes
***** yeah its not impossible for a buick 350 to beat a big block anything but it's all how both engines are built. My 496 stroker is a street engine. 9.1:1 compression ratio, mild hydraulic roller cam, makes 14 inches of vacuum at idle. GM iron rectangular port heads, single plane intake, 850 carb. On the engine dyno it made 565hp and 600tq all under 6,000 rpms. Imagine if put some high quality aftermarket high flowing heads, a healthy camshaft, bump up the compression ratio, do some porting, run a bigger carb...look at the great increase in power
Wow.. thats gonna be harder to beat a engine of that size with only 383... only thing i can think of is lighter weight car and better traction lol
D Tuck yuuup
I have a 388 that we built.. we put out 535 hp and 522 ft tq. So it'll be leaning more towards a 496 as far as winning but there are certain conditions where the 383 could beat it.. rare.. lol
I like it. Very Cool car
Very nice Nova 👍👍👍 how much is it?
Great machine.... I had the oportunity to see a Chevy Nova in Houston, take a look of my video. ;)
U look hot Scott New Zealand 0212075685
Better check that oil pressure situation... 20psi at idle, and after you gunned the engine a couple of times, it dropped down to 15psi, unless that gauge is bad, needle bounced around alot when it shouldnt be.
definitely cause for concern, tho I had a 350 in my old beater truck that got as low as 10 psi at idle in the summer, and somehow that lasted for years(with beatings) until I cracked a head and decided to gut/scrap the truck.
Nice Nova. But one thing I hate though is the big chrome rims on an old car. I absolutely hate tacky rims on old muscle. Makes a classic car look toy-ish to me.
gloss paint too. no, keep it solid.
metallic or gloss paint with shiny rims is cool but not for old classics; keep that for the sleek imports.
Alex McAllister Big chrome rims? Those are 16 inch bullit rims, you know.....for muscle cars.
A M these ones don't really look half bad, actually, but I just like the old rims they put on the cars. love everything else
A M No 15 inch cragars with a little taller side wall. Looks more period correct
Black rims never look bad
@@NYGiantsDiEhArD dude you're insane
3:35 - looks like they installed the steering wheel turned 240° :-)
is it a 14" Grant 1070 Le Mans ?
Why isn't the steering wheel on straight. It looks almost upside downs.
chad hughes because the wheels turned dumbass
Looked way off going straight down the road
Midnight Bandit no it isn’t turned dumbass. He’s talking about when the car was driving straight. It IS upside down and also not centered.
i lo e that car
Is there any possible way of this car just apear in my house? Like in gta?
Vanguard will buy it for 5k and re-sell it for 78,000...
is that how those guys do it? good thing i didnt jump the gun haha
383's are nice but my 496 bbc is a totally different animal! 600+ foot pound torque on 9.1:1 CR and only running 3.36 gears with th400. no 3.73's or lower gears needed😆
What is your mpg?
@@e.risner1904 city driving she drinks, highway is pretty good.
If i was looking to replace/upgrade the frontend of a 73 nova where would i look in order to purchase such front suspension& steering components?
You let the clutch get loose, riding in the middle of the road, and thru stop signs
Add a gear to the transmission and the car would be even more epic. The rear axle is the Achilles heel for high torque though. C clip setup needs to be eliminated for the axle to have strength. Maybe put 17 inch wheels on because 16inch wheels aren't as popular so it may be a little difficult to find tires for the car after roasting the back ones off.lol.My dad had one of these cars until 2002 and I'm still trying to find it.
can you go over 70 with a 4 speed ?
Hermoso
355 will smoke some 383's those extra 33 cubic inches can be match with good after market heads and full roller cam.
Do y’all sell it??
HOW MUCH $$$$$$$$$
why not say"it wheel hops quick"
worth spending 7k on 71 nova in great condition with a 383 with a bonded title?
I wouldn't recommend a 'bonded title' arrangement ever. That means there is no title, and you're putting up a bond against someone else claiming that it was their car to sell. You can't sell the car or 'legally' own it for up to 3 years. If the owner is found within the three year waiting period, you lose your car and money from my understanding. For that price, you should make the owner do the paperwork to get the title. There are plenty of these classics around with proper titles.
Thats royal blue not purple but nice nova
Royal Purple like the man said ! ! !
shitty motor oil pressure below 20psi
Just my opinion, the stereo ruins it.
Nasty wheel hop so suspension handling??? Guages moving around A LOT oil pressure??? I will give you 2000 for it.
Car is crap. Why? If you can't take the time to put the steering wheel straight then what other short cuts did you take. Probably rust, weak rebuilt motor,, old used tranny, suspension???? Nope all set, the little things matter , I would never buy a car with a steering wheel like that. It is the easiest fix in the world and you can't be bothered to do it???? Rest of the car is probably all paint and that's it.
