- I've been inspired to do this since I heard the song; Taylor Swift is my new favorite artist.
Obviously the story ends differently, but I took the literal "romeo" and "juliet" to heart.
This is my favorite version of the story because the actors are so beautiful and really can act.

To think my oldest daughter played the original Taylor Swift video of this song at her wedding reception. What she didn’t realize is that my wife and I nearly perfectly depicted this video in the early 1970’s! This is the BEST version of Romeo and Juliet ever!

The one thing remains, Leonard and Olivia are beatiful pair as young lovers in the movie and would have been a beautiful married couple as we all would like to imagine. We could just leave it as that for all we know there were numbers of movie stars who became married couples but ended up separated or divorced after a couple of months or few years. At least seeing Loenard and Olivia after all these years, they remain pure good friends with all the love and respect for each other.
Thamk you to Franco Zeffrelli for this beautiful Romeo and Juliet. The movie is simply beautifully made and will forever be loved.

This is outstanding!! I married my Juliet 47 years ago on 5/22/76! Who says that Romeo and Juliet can’t have a happy ending! We also have a great legacy: 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren!

This is my favorite film of Romeo and Juliet. I first watched it when I was 12 and I am now 21 and still love it. To make things even better, I just landed the role of The Nurse in The Whole Backstage Theatre's production of Romeo and Juliet. I'm so honored and excited! This is terrific video!

aw I now want to see this movie so bad! In my English class in freshman year, this stupid boy demanded we see the version with Leonardo DiCaprio over this version, and the rest of the class got mad at him because the 1996 version was terrible.
I am profoundly grateful that this video clearly depicts my relationship with my future wife in 1971! We are now married almost 47 years in 2023! This Taylor Swift song was in my daughter’s wedding in 2011! Imagine, 40 years later!
