I have been using the #vstrom250 sx for 15000kms now and can vouch for the reliability and comfort for all day riding, be it highways or bad roads, trails. It easily does 120kmph in 5th gear and beyond 135 in 6th, which includes my pillion and soft luggage(saddle bags+tail bag+tank bag). Fuel efficiency is around 36-39kmpl. Build quality is good enough for soft trails, had done offroading as well, suspension and sprocket upgrade will improve that experience a lot. Cons: foot pegs and exhaust are fine for highways but if you are wearing riding boots and saddling you will need to upgrade footpegs and there is hindrance from pegs & Exhaust being too close. Coneset below the handlebars loosens frequently, brakes need an upgrade as they lack the bite after first few thousand kms. Just like elder Vstrom this is a sports tourer and not a hard offroader. I won't compare it with Xpulse, but rather with KTM 250Adv. Best for people who love travelling.
Wow appreciate your write-up, it's like a mini review right here. The V storm is an amazing bike, and would have purchased myself it she came with good off-road abilities, but this is just my personal preference
Hello from Australia. Its interesting the pricing considering this bike is made in India. In Australia this bike is priced really cheap compared to the competition. Its 20% cheaper than the Honda cb300r (we dont have the F) and its basically the 30% cheaper than the price of any of the small ADV bikes like the Kawasaki versysx 300, Bmw GS310 and KTM 390 adventure. The suzuki is even 25% cheaper than the Royal Einfield 411 and 450. Its basically the cheapest new name brand 250cc bike in Australia
Thanks for the video buddy. Very well explained. Was exactly looking for this video as I myself am a fan of Xpulse and after test riding VStrom SX became a fan of it.
Suzuki got it 💯 with suspension! If any increase in suspension height, it'll be stupidity tall and highway handling will be affected! I own an xpulse too, in twisties it doesn't provide stability like a vstrom does! In vstrom i can slow down and ride through potholes and cruise at 100 kmph all day vibration free and peace of mind because of it's reliable gem of an engine!
Once a legend said v strom is like avocado, it will feel expensive it will not taste good initially but once you start eating avocado then you can’t stop eating. Only few will understand who is the legend. I own v storm from last one year initially I purchased for look but with time I started loving this bike because of its versatility.
Nice video. I wanted to buy this, but going for Karizma XMR 210 instead. The karizma looks young and fresh to me. This one looked old and boring. I felt sad because they could have done much more with it for the same price. Either they didnt have time or was just not interested in doing anything special. A lost opportunity. A good bike which could have been great. Whats good in it, you can find the same in Gixxer 250 for much much less. No wonder they are giving sooo many offers, discounts and freebies. After I saw a lot of reviews where everyone was praising it, "owners" flooding the same videos saying how this bike is the best thing to happen after sliced bread, how it is winning races somewhere as if that has something to do with day to day stuff and touring... I thought this must sell like hotcakes. But its just another "Only sells in comment section" motorbike. Its good, but not what people are making out to be and yes, I have taken test rides.
Well you are right is some part that many post good comments but not exactly buying this in reality, Biggest reason is shortage of Showrooms in many part of country, Less showroom and Workshop make peoples to not buy bikes, also this is not for short people, many riders are shorter in hight so peoples avoide this
Everything is possible at a price, the question is 'is it worth the effort and money?' . According to me its a big NO. You well as buy a second had Xpulse 4V put a big bore 220cc cyclinder and block in it, up the power by putting a free flow exhaust and air intake.
Whether Gixxer or Vstrom, Suzuki makes bikes with high, unusable pillion seat. People cannot waste money on single-seater bikes in India. Because we use bikes mainly for commuting and occasionally on highways, not off-road.
Not really.. I have seen a Japanese guy riding his gixxer sf250 on a motocross track his name is shinyo.. Totally Japanese.. Channel.. And check his offroad sessions with vstorm and gixxer.. And u will see how much capabilities this bikes have.. They r more skilled driver than 75 % Indian drivers and ridera
@@bonjovi1354 Does not matter. Is he going to buy all the Vstrom 250 SX in the world? Or you want everyone to be expert rallycross and moto GP riders? Enthusiasts and professionals does not drive sales. Regular people do. Company HAS to provide what most customers want, which is approx. 99.8% of the people. Not what enthusiasts want. They are barely 0.2%. No wonder Suzuki is giving sooo may offers, discounts and freebies to drive sales. This is not a V-Strom, its more like a Gixxer Touring.
Because it not a hard core off-road machine, it is a adventure tourer bike which can take little bit of off-road and road oriented bike, not hard core off-road bike

Purchase her if you are not into absolute off-road, you won't regret your decision

Am glad you liked the video. So which bike did you finally purchase?
Booked VStrom 😊. But now they don't have this Orange color so my wait continues 🤦🏻♂️

You own a Vstorm 250 or the 650?
@@allaboutautomobiles. 250 , I have also one highness and Hornet 2.0 . I am a Honda fan but v strom is the suitable motorcycle for me.

Nice write-up, yes a lost opportunity, this engine with the dinamics of the Xpulse would have been the best ADV in India.

Wait for New Xpulse 210 with new Karizma Engine 😊
what top rack is that on your xpulse
I don't have a branded topbox, with reference to the size, it's a fiber 45 Lts box. Did not go for the alluminium one as they are too heavy

I use the Xpulse pro with my wife sitting behind. The trick is that you need to sit on these bikes like how you would sit on a horse.
Over priced. it should be around 2.2, even this not for hard core off-roading. front suspension travel not much.
💯

6000rpms at 5th gear gives me 83km/hr .
I think what he meant was on 6th Gear then.
