@rosameijering5161 That is not a good reason to give up. You should keep trying. Even if you never reach "perfection", you should strive for it. I can draw fairly realistically, and this video inspired me to push further. It shouldn't discourage you.
I agree, I am a painter and sometimes its okay to take a break from your art to find further inspiration and drive to find something to create that will make you proud of yourself, but you shuld never give up completely. Something i tell myself is, there is always going to be someone who does it better nomatter how good you are, its all about creating something that is better than what you have done previously and as long as you keep getting better than your past self you are growing and learning and creating joy for yourself and thats what it really shuld be about. If you try to create to be better than someone else or to impress other people its always going to hold you back from your true potential. And when creating to impress yourself you can unlock new techniques looking inward.
