Ayeee, Astro boyy
I watched Astro Boy when I was 4 years old!!! I can't believe I saw anime when I was young
In your 1970s episode, you should mention Lupin III, World Masterpiece Theater, Ashita no Joe and Rose of Versailles. Also talk about Osamu Dezaki, probably one of the best anime directors of all time.
This series is honestly amazing. I also think you may just be the only one who could pull this series off this beautifully. You always keep me interested :D
Teh AnimeHQ Thanks budddy! Glad you enjoy it :)
Astro Boy is my favorite and no anime will take over it's place.
Dandon Dayrit
Yas
Speed Racer > Astro Boy
I only watched the movie .-.
its*
Dandon Dayrit how about jojo’s bizarre adventure
EXCLUDING THE FANDOM, those people can be a little bit autistic sometimes
Oml I have a project on anime due tomorrow and I’m so happy I found this series so I can learn the information quick and easy while being interested in what’s going on.
I wish these were longer, this is great stuff
You forgot Speed Racer which aired first in 1966.
Yeah, it seems strange not to mention the first well known “household name” series,
Sad to see to mention of Little Prince and the Eight Headed Dragon. That movie is phenomenal and has one of the best final battles in all of animation.
did the Little Prince ride on a star?
RustyX2010 Not this one. He had Pegasus when he fought the dragon.
Kimba is and always be my favorite
Good vid man, can't wait to see part 3
Really enjoying this series! I can't wait until the other decades a released (that way I can know a lot more of the anime that you reference LOL) But I'm learning a lot through these videos! Keep up the good work!
iFireRenegade Thanks bud, glad you're enjoying it :)
I really like these, I honestly just wish they were longer
Subs and Dubs Reviews They'll start to get longer when i get to the later decades.
AnimeEveryday - Anime Reviews sick! I think this is a killer idea, glad someone with the editing skills is doing justice to the topic.
Subs and Dubs Reviews Thanks man, much appreciated :)
Awesome series!
i've always been fastinated with the history of anime and where it started ever since i discovered anime.
These are really cool, can't wait to see more!
zoothar21 Thanks bud :)
I really like how you didnt fluff this up. it's quick and too the point
I think this is so interesting to me because of my love of both aims and histor.
WHere's 8 man, 1963? Where's Speed Racer, 1967?
This is good. Pairing your voice with the fact I'm drinking Irn-Bru while watching this vid just makes it that much more epic. #MadeInScotlandFromGirders
awesome!!
When I watch the 'Astro Boy Atom' TV series and movies, it feels like Walt Disney Studios.
So, if a new remake of "Astro Boy Atom" movies and TV series are released in the long-term future, we hope "Astro Boy Atom" movies and TV series should/will be produced by Walt Disney Animation Studio.
I would even like a lot of cameo characters (+ humans&robots) (in the new different ancestor universe) from other Walt Disney studio movies to be featured in this TV series and movies.
For example, there are ......
- Walt Disney Animation Studios -
Rapunzel, Eugene Fitzherbert, Cassandra, Varian, etc. (from Tangled Series),
Ralph (as a tall-grown ordinary human), Vanellope (as a tall-grown human), etc. (from Wreck-It-Ralph Series),
Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, 'Olaf as a snow robot'(, Hans, Oaken, Kai, Mattias, Northuldra), etc. (from Frozen Series),
Hiro Hamada, Tadashi Hamada, Baymax, Honey Lemon, Go Go Tomago, Wasabi, Fred, Aunt Cass, Alistair Krei, Yokai, Mr. Yama, etc. (from Big Hero 6 Series),
Moana, Maui(, Tala, Tui, Sina), etc. (from Moana Series),
Asha, etc. (from Wish Series),
Mirabel Madrigal, "Abuela" Alma Madrigal, Bruno Madrigal, Félix Madrigal, Luisa Madrigal, Julieta Madrigal, Pepa Madrigal, Isabela Madrigal, Agustín Madrigal, etc. (from Ecanto Series),
Raya, etc. (From Raya and the Last Dragon Series),
etc.
- Pixar Animation Studios -
* Merida, etc. (from Brave Series),
* Buzz Lightyear as a human, Woody as a human, Jessie as a human, Bo Peep as a human, Andy Davis, Bonnie Anderson, Izzy Hawthorne, etc. (from Toy Story+Lightyear Series),
* Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible), Helen Parr (Elastigirl), Violet Parr, Dash Parr, Jack-Jack Parr, Frozone, Edna Mode, Rick Dicker, Snug, Winston Deavor, etc. (from Incredibles Series),
* Miguel(, Héctor, Ernesto de la Cruz, Mamá Imelda, Abuelita, Mamá Coco, Chicharrón, Papá Julio, Tía Rosita, Tía Victoria, Tíos Oscar and Felipe, Papá), etc. (from Coco Series),
* Luca Paguro, Alberto Scorfano, Giulia Marcovaldo, Ercole Visconti, Massimo Marcovaldo, Mrs. Marsigliese, etc. (from Luca Series),
* Meilin "Mei" Lee, Ming Lee, Miriam Mendelsohn, Priya Mangal, Abby Park, Jin Lee, Tyler Nguyen-Baker, Mr. Gao, Devon, Mr. Kieslowski, Stacy Frick, Lauren, etc. (from Turning Red Series)
etc.
......
Of course, the background of this TV series and movies is mainly Metro City.
AMAZING!!!!
I Don't know why I love watching 60s anime , it just feels so good 😊
well done once again.
Cant wait for me
Astro Boy was one of my first anime
2003 version on the old one.
pelucheCR7 I don't know which one. I only watched it as a kid. I'm sure it isn't the one in black and white though.
Not to weeb out here but I literally grew up with anime lol. It’s such a big part of me I can’t ignore it. I’ll most likely adore it till death do me part, I’ll bring it to afterlife if I can. Astroboy I grew up with and Dororo- I’ve always heard of that story going around until finally I saw the live action a few years back. It was really good
What's the fourth studio logo? I know Toei Animation, Mushi Production and Tatsunoko Production.
Eiken.
Fail 1:@1:38 Tatsunoko production's name says 作品紹介 which means "Our works (or literary, introducing our works"). Probably something that said right next to Tatsunoko Production's logo when you were looking for their logos on the company's website.
The music sounds like what EPMD ised in 'IT'S TIME TO PARTY' back in 89 i could be wrong tho
Why are the videos so short?. Is it so hard to get well documented info from back then?. Good job anyway.
1:21 Astro boy was an anime? 😃
You should've talked about Ribon No Kishi and Mach GoGoGo.
0:02 song please?
It's interesting how the quality of the anime industry basically parallels the growth and flourish of the Japanese economy itself.
0:02 song?
Cyborg 009 is that old wow
No mention of Speed Racer?
Awwww I tought they have osomatsu san it was in 1960 well it doesn't matter BUT I'M TELLING U IT'S A GOOD EP 😊👍 ( Well I watch the new version of osomatsu san
2:13 "From Spain to Iran" so, basically, around the Mediterranean? :D
Fun fact, kimba the white lion likely actually influenced lion king
If there was ever a time machine, I would travel back to 1963 in the U.S.A just to watch all of the 104 episodes of Astro boy.
you could just do that today
Dororo got me here
I loved cyborg 009
i love dororo
2:27
I would like to point out that this was when Japanese amination start to differ to the western Animation with the twinkling of the eyes in Japanese amination while western ones do not.
or the iconic eye design I mean
they had no actual television animations until the 1950s the television was invented in 1920 and they only had small clips at the the time because of things like flipbooks . americanization gave them what they needed to make actual animations
Gigantor the space age robot his power is in your hands
Hmmm, Mushi Production went bankrupt in 1973, which was the same year that Rankin Bass' Festival of Family Classics ended, a show animated by Mushi Production. Make me question the following later Rankin Bass films that was made after 1973.
Is your name Matt Stewart?
There was an anime around the time of Gigantor and Kimba, and all I can really recall is a prince figure on a white horse, possibly a princess living in a tower castle....if anyone can name it, please do: it's driving me nuts.
I just found it! It was called 'Ribbon No Kishi' or 'Princess Knight' in English.
I was always impressed by her long fingers and would lie in bed and make shadows on the wall, moving my hands to make the shadows look like long, elegant fingers
Put the name
Wow dororo
2:28 Tom?
pretty good
i am no really a fan of anime (i can't really remember the last time of watched it, i think it was yugohi or blade carboon...ohh good old days of 2002-2006).
Dude! You missed Speed Racer? Lame!!!! Wiki it! Released in1967. The most significant anime animation released with 52 episodes. Do your research!!!
Speed racer sucked
"Do your research". Dude.
Brian C lmao
5 years later I'll say this, Speed Racer was really lame. Compared to the works here mentioned. He can't mention everything there is in the world.
Nobody liked speed racer, here at least, so it’s irrelevant.
you forgot to include voltes v
Can you put the titles of the metioned animes on screen please? I sometimes can't understand your Japanese pronunciation at all... Sorry
AliceWWND Sure, i'll put them in the description now :)
M8 That intro tune is so hype.
This is nice, but it goes too fast, with not enough detail for each subject. It also focuses exclusively on TV, and ignores anime released theatrically in the 60s, which is my main interest.
Eueeeeu
Shōwa
sazae san??¿¿
More
yoooo kimba was the shit!
Cyborg 009 was in 1968
Guys did you know
That Kimba the white lion is the original lion king Disney stole the idea of Kimba the white lion then they turned it into Lion King
The big three one piece bleach and naruto 2 of them finished while one piece creator is sweating
I realy hope someday Kimba the White Lion get the popularity it deserves and poeple realise that Dysney where plagiarised it. (Am I using the word plagiarise right? english isn't my native language)
2:45 thats jackie chan right?
Does anybody watch glitter force
i do
ive watched it so many times during quarantine
@@hazel5040 Nice
lion king wouldn't exist without japan.
Sooooo I really looking forward to how they thought of small cute anime lolis
no 8 man smh
Disney ripped off the lion king from Japan
So, Lion King was better
Second
Losto Bots
First
Kimba was probably the first anime I watched. They aired it in 97.I was only 6 so I only remember the English opening theme.
