I don’t need childcare or whatever he’s talking about with food for kids or whatever. I’d like my housing to be affordable, my gas to be affordable and my groceries to be affordable.

You're right about most of the housing (not gonna brag but mine isn't expensive), but there's alternative to gas (hybrid/electric) and grocerie is not expensive if you shop at the right grocerie store. But we all can agree that Trudeau gotta f*ck off

I gotta say, I had 3 kids in daycare at the same time for a short period and it was just shy of 3k a month. That's definitely one he got right. I agree I should pay cause I chose to have them but the cost of child care is super high. 75 a day for uner 18 months and 50 a day after that. I was pumped when the first went to school.
Here's the issue now. People couldn't afford daycare now they can so their is now huge waiting lines for daycare up to 18months. So what has that solved?

In order to "save a tooth with an infected root" the estimate was $3500 for a root canal (a botched root canal by one terrible dentist cost over $1000 and she sealed it back over with a temporary plastic cover) plus over $2000 for a crown after a root canal. Getting it pulled was $305. So now I have no tooth after spending $1305. No chance of getting any covered. Thinking of suing the dentist who botched the root canal.

That could work for most people…but by the time you’re a senior your income can be very low…I paid over 200 last year just for a cleaning, then another 300 for a filling…that’s 500.00 hundred dollars …a lot of seniors do not have…on low income…I hope you never find yourself there…or your family…this dental plan may or may not work but I would not begrudge a senior of low income the benefit…

I live in Airdrie Alberta and I’m turning 23 at the end of this month (June) I work at Costco and always take extra 70$ off my pay check for taxes yet I’ve owed the government each year and now this year owe them over 4000$ and haven’t got a GST check in over two years. They are corrupt and cheap will try and take nickel and dime from regular Canadians but won’t answer to where millions of dollars went what a joke !
Dental care after 85 years of age
Age 67 here. In order to "save a tooth with an infected root" the estimate was $3500 for a root canal (a botched root canal by one terrible dentist cost over $1000 and she sealed it back over with a temporary plastic cover) plus over $2000 for a crown after a root canal. Getting it pulled was $305. So now I have no tooth after spending $1305. No chance of getting any covered. Thinking of suing the dentist who botched the root canal.
Yes. And how many teeth they usually have ?? But not dentures, bridges, crowns. I am looking for a benefits with denture plans and there are no one offering them. Only repairs of dentures. Or adding it in the benefits. With out the benefits, the middle silver, are 180$ /m. If I add the dentures, it will be over 200$/m and will take a 1 year to kick in.

Whats happened to families in Canada? Can two people not bring children into the world, raise and provide for them? I am a father, I am no longer with the mother but as a man I always have full custody of my son and I dont want my taxes to go up or to be used for this "food program". The quality of the average person in Canada and many places has plummeted and the more the government steps in with tax dollars the worse it will get. How about the 20% supplement if you live in the country, oh I just found out that some bureaucratic asshole in Ottawa fixed that. Even though I live miles, excuse me, kilometres from any city I do not qualify. Know why, they have redrawn the cencus areas because people are leaving cities for places they can afford a home.
Check it out on CRA site, simply ask do you quailify for rebate, you will be asked couple of questions and census map of your area comes up. It will show where you must reside to get supplement. I live in Ont but works for all of country.

That could work for most people…but by the time you’re a senior your income can be very low…I paid over 200 last year just for a cleaning, then another 300 for a filling…that’s 500.00 hundred dollars …a lot of seniors do not have…on low income…I hope you never find yourself there…or your family…this dental plan may or may not work but I would not begrudge a senior of low income the benefit…

I am a senior and asked my oral hygienist about this new program. Turns out it is optional and my dentists has opted out. Sounds very much like the rest of his programs designed to help the citizens. Turns out carbon taxes helps government and hurts Canadians. That will be Trudeaus' legacy.
