Hi, it is not that American teachers fear school rules. American schools are ruled by parents whatever they say, that’s how it goes. We, teachers working in American schools, are suffocated and disagreed with this behavior. Not even Principals have the power to do anything. We have bills to pay and families to support. That's one of the main reasons why we stay and can't do anything but write discipline reports that can take up to one hour for each student. After watching this video, the idea of teaching in Africa crossed my mind ❤

The whole Art and Science class was punished with 6 strokes flogging and 3weeks of no lecture plus manual labour because we refuse to snitch on our class mate that refused to stand up and greet our Economic/Agric teacher and made a snide comment about him.
