Can you change the underglow based on layers? Cuz I don't see it in the documentation

Do you feel the spacebar a little hard to reach, it seems like you're stretching your thumb a bit when hitting space? I think the v2 has the thumb buttons a little further away than v1
Yes I need to stretch my thumb to hit space, although just a bit. I got used to it quickly and doesn't make my thumb fatigued
@@B6Videos Hi thanks for replying. I had an ergodox a few years ago but sold it due to the thumb cluster being too far and causing fatigue. Thinking of getting an ortholinear keyboard again but a bit worried about the thumb cluster XD.
@@B6Videos Btw do you use the rotary encoder much for things like scrolling down webpages? How comfortable and practical do you think they are?
@@HLover03 Sofle is a good one! I have a great time using it for the past 4 months. But I'm selling mine to a friend and now considering to build myself a Corne.
I do use the encoders, here's how I use it:
Right encoder: [base] Alt+left/right for scrubbing Opera tabs and cursor scrubbing on VS Code, press for screenshoot; [raise] ctrl+z/y for undo/redo; [lower] underglow saturation +-
Left encoder: [base] volume +-, press for play/pause media; [raise] none; [lower] underglow hue +-
So pretty useful for me and I use them pretty often. I'm gonna miss them if I end up building a Corne haha
@@B6Videos Thanks for such a detailed description. Corne seems to have a lot less keys and not sure if it supports a rotary encoder XD, though a lot of people have no problem with 34/36 keys for coding.

Do you have the files for that case? I really want a case for my Sofle V2, I am using plates right now. That underglow looks nice coming out of that case.
I unfortunately don't, it was designed and printed by the builder.

hi, yes i use QMK as the firmware. I haven't shared my personal keymap and I don't have the keyboard anymore, but there's a lot of custom keymaps for sofle in the QMK repo
Where do you get the case for the Sofle v2?
I had my Sofle built by a local builder including the case. I did the sanding and the paint job
