Zozibini was the first black Miss Universe from South Africa. A real XHOSA queen!!!And she did all of that with her natural hair and Xhosa attire. The Xhosa tribe is just exceptional, from the likes of Nelson Mandela, Trevor Noah, Desmond Tutu, Brenda Fassie, Miriam Makeba, Black Coffee etc they are just too much

All are beauties but there are five I remember , two from my country Trinidad and Tobago, one from Jamaica ,ond from Botswana and last one from South Africa with that short natural hair and that beautiful gown. Today, Wendy still looks the same in face,still has model figure just more mature.

Shout out to Ruth Ocumarez of Dominican Republic and Vanessa Mendoza of Colombia two very beautiful black women and favorites snubbed (in my opinion robbed) at Miss Universe 2002. That year USA, Honduras, Sweden, Peru, and Mexico also sent women of African ancestry to the 2002 pageant.

Nope! All regions of the Earth includes their own set of what they consider is beautiful!! Africa, or African women isn't the only country or race with supposedly beautiful & intelligent women . It's difficult to name any of these girls as my favourite. I am Jamaican and I like the intelligence and talent of Toni- Ann Singh. However, I have listened to Wendy Fitzwilliam Miss Trinidad and Tobago, Miss Universe and she is quite an articulate, intelligent, talented and bright black woman. I could go on about some of the others. Hwever, I must include Nyekechi Miss (Nigeria 2019) on her extraordinary, show of heart ❤️ and spirit, to the win of Toni- Ann ( Miss Jamaica 2019) 🇯🇲 what an authentic show of humanity, ( Nuff) respect Nyekechi.
