you have to admit, it's kinda impressive for gokaiger to still be the "poster child" of sorts of super sentai crossovers that they're continuously coming out with updated hero getter versions
i think gokaiger had a universal appreciation for it, i think it offered the most in terms of an anniversary season, and it really leaned into that anniversary part. the whole ranger key gimmick led to so many toys, and lead to everyone being utterly ashamed of super megaforce when it came out gokaiger is just awesome for what it brought to the table
@@b550man bruh power rangers to me fell of after samurai they had a cool series but the fact they rfused to use something else besides remixed "go go power rangers" was just annoying plus now after witnessing sentai anything post rpm just sucks
Do to a couple of things. The concept is just appreciation of all the past series along with the team being able to turn into all of them. Then you have the fact this series was coming off the Fukushima Disaster that had this series in particular be used for fundraising for the victims, have something to show the kids to lift spirits and a bunch of the additions of cameos were just a bunch of the old actors wanting to make it special do to the two above reasons, so the scope got a lot bigger then was originally planned. Add onto that that the merch sales were just insane and the company afterward for the subsequent series were going to have a problem trying to one up itself after something like this. You can see it with the series directly afterward that they got experimental or brought the dinosaur theme back sooner then they usually did. Two teams, biggest team, dino theme switch forms and dream power along with just improved effects cause of there new digital screens, they didn't really get back to the numbers the company wanted till Ryu. Hell, Go Busters didn't even get the usual team up special do to how it was REALLY hard to follow up the biggest anniversary team in a decade.
@@b550man I totally agree with you on this. I think Gokaiger was one of the best anniversary seasons which can still be used due to the key gimmick. It can continually be used once another set of Sentai team comes out. I can't wait to hear the Hero Getter for the 50th anniversary. It would be a shame if they don't keep using this. Also yeah Super Megaforce was a let down. Japan handed Saban a silver plate...no make that gold plate and he just threw it away. Not to mention, I'm so mad with Hasbro with them just cutting ties with Super Sentai. In a way I understand but then in a way I don't. I mean, you can still make an awesome story using the battle footage. I hope that the new reboot of Power Rangers doesn't flop.

Yes, since it is a group form by singers of the franchise. Takatori Hideaki is the singer for Hurricanger and Zyouhger Yoffy from Psychic Lover sing the part of Dekarangers and Shinkenger. Same for NoB for Boukengers and Goseigers. Sister Mayo sings the ending of Magiranger and ryousoulger .
Captain Marvelous, you're a legend along with the pirate squad! Long live Gokaigers! Hade no ikuze indeed!!! It's been 11 years since Gokaiger first ran the Sentai world and still it's storyline is very much binded with every succeeding Sentai series. Still Gokaiger will be my number 1 squad followed by Shinkenger, kyuranger
My mother was around for the 1st sentai, my older brother was there for the 17th, I was there for the 28th. As a 20+, I still enjoy the show to this day.
We're on Sentai # 48 (Boonboomger) now. Closing in on the big 50th anniversary. Wow, what is time even. I don't know why but I got choked up when I saw the clip of Tsuyoshi Kaijo getting back his Ranger Key and turning into Akarenger.
I grew up with PR and have been getting into Sentai. ToQgers been my favourite so far. But I can feel the nostalgia you all feel for this. And I hope I can live to see the 100th Sentai. HyakuRanger is my bet on what it’s gonna be called.
Super Sentai was the first TV show I watched when I was a kid in the 2000 era, Gokaiger is one of the best tribute to Super Sentai, the time when my entire family was nostalgic about their generation of Sentai Rangers.
I grew up watching Super Megaforce, 10 years later I found this great masterpiece. I was surprised to find out that PR was Japanese, now I know what I missed out on. I did finished watching Gokaiger and their movies like 3 weeks ago, loved Joe's arch in the series. Overall, this show and its American counterpart will always be in my heart as my childhood.
Kaizoku Snetai Gokaiger will always be the best sentai. I have not come across a sentai after their series that had the heart it had. The main red wasn't a happy go lucky push over that we see in series post Gokaiger. I'm biased and will always like more adult themed Red's. Marvelous was a great red/great leader and to see his growth in this series, then in Zyuogher, then again in the 10 years after special. He is so special. I've watched a lot of sentai in my life but Gokaiger is still top notch snetai material.
we're down to the 48th super sentai, close enough to golden anniversary. but still the 35th super sentai was the most iconic and the best anniversary they ever created so far. i'm so hooked up to gokaigers so much that i'd rewatched it for 10 times. gokaiger still the best!
I was a power rangers kid growing up (and still am to a certain extent) and when I found out about super sentai I was shocked that I had never heard about it before. I will sometimes watch sentai but never as much as PR but nonetheless I feel nothing but gratitude for sentai as without it there would be no pr and the world would be a sadder place I hope sentai never ends and I hope PR gets its shit together and also never ends
@@Jay_D_Ashe Yeah, it was their ending song, played in three sections (so you'd get the first 12 teams in one episode, the next 12 in the next, and the remaining 10 in the next, then the first set again, etc). This is actually the fourth version of it, as it was updated for Go-Busters (adding that and Gokaiger, using in their VS movie) and Zyuohger (adding Kyoryu, ToQ, Ninnin and Zyuoh, used in Zyuoh's in-series team-up with Gokaiger) before this one (adding Kyu, Lupat, Ryusoul, Kiramei, and Zenkaiger, used in the 10 years film).
As a PR fan, I gotta admit that this is freaking awesome. Super Sentai really is the best franchise when it comes to handling legacy characters and new characters. I wish PR was treated with the same respect.
This is the downside of Saban disguising it as an American product and doing business with it. They've stolen the cultural work of Shotaro Ishinomori and other creators of Toei and Super Sentai, and are making a killing with a childish business. I wonder if they're paying Toei a fair price? Why are they trying to hide the fact that the heroes are born in Japan? I don't feel any respect at all!

Like ever since MMPR aired, that show through generation never mention a shit about their source except mentioning Toei company in their opening and end credits. the cast of the next team has been told their show could be its last, their advertising partners have been told this could be the end as well Both this production and Bandai will need to do a lot to keep the franchise going, or it will end four years short of the 50th anniversary if it does die, this will affect in the west what Hasbro and Netflix can do for power rangers and will compromise Nichi Asa Kids/Super Hero Time by leaving nothing in the 9:30 in the morning slot japanese standard time as Kamen Rider would be deemed unable to have benefitted from the time switch the two shows did on October 1st, 2017

Super Sentai was started in 1975 with Goranger the first ever Super Sentai in the history of Japan. But in the Philippines they named Star Rangers it was aired on RPN 9 back in the 80’s
I will be 38 on the 50th Anniversary and very excited and grateful. I grew up on the American version as a kid and started watching all of the originals on UA-cam. Imagine a big global party for the 50th Anniversary!
Even though I was born in the 80s, I started watching Super Sentai in 2000. So I took a trip and watched all Sentai teams up to this point. And I liked it. If I live long to see more Sentai series, I will always love Super Sentai. This is an awesome tribute.
Goggle V was the first super sentai series that I watched about 30 years ago. Though I don't watch super sentai anymore coz I feel I'm too old for that, I still know every super sentai squad from GoRanger to Donbrothers and super sentais were/are/and will always be my favorite super heroes.
At the age of 34 I still will take the time to watch both Super Sentai and Power Rangers yes I said it only because without PR I don't think I would ever tried out Super Sentai.
Actual more. Ginyu force and pride trooper wouldn't exist which mean that highly chance no ui goku. No hunter x hunter cause super sentai impact creator life. No sailor moon, no saint seyia...pretty much concept of teams and squadron was impacted thanks to super sentai

That's right! No matter what you call it, no matter what terminology; it's awesome to you. Anything before "Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger" isn't adaptable; but at least to Gokaiger/Super Megaforce, they're also known as the following: For Gosei Sentai Dairanger, it would be Power Rangers Thunder Squadron, which should've been how season 2 was supposed to go. When Zordon and Alpha brung forth the White Ranger, they should've brandished a little treasure chest. Inside the treasure chest, there were to be 5 copies of the Dairanger insignia. The White Ranger was something prepared for them later, whereas the Dairanger insignia x5 was something prepared for them now. All you have to do is never use THAT power for personal gain, refrain from escalating a battle unless Rita(or Zedd, or even the Gorma tribe) forces you, and keep your identity a secret. Put your Dairanger insignia in your morpher, call out the name of your Thunderzord(Mythical Chi Beast), and prepare for battle. Speaking of Rita, she was very cross. She had it up to here with their heroic deeds, and now knows that they have what appeared to be a logo in the palm of their hands. Just then, Lord Zedd appears. In my version, he's aided by the Gorma tribe. Either way, he'll conjure up Pirantishead; one fishy monster of the week. The White Ranger wouldn't be alone anymore. They'll need orbs and blades to summon and control their Thunderzords. If they want to put that stuff on hold, they can call their Dino Zords and use the power of thunder to upgrade them into their Thunderzords. If not for Rita's stupid energy-sapping candle, he'd still be the Green Ranger. He'd do the same thing as everyone else, by turning the Dragonzord into the Tigerzord. But no Titanus! You can't use Titanus! Use Tor the Shuttle Zord instead. The tiger goes inside the turtle while both the red dragon and the Thunderzord Assault Team(lion, firebird, unicorn, and griffin) go on top of the turtle. The latter uses its staff as a helicopter's rotors to lift upward and plummet down on all those who oppose our heroes. When all seven Mythical Chi Beasts work together, evildoers are flattened. With various fighting styles, these super-powered martial artists will give villains what for!
Then there's Dengeki Sentai Changeman, or(through the courtesy of K.S.G.) Power Rangers Blitz Force. These soldiers of fortune rely on the earth's power, allowing them to draw powers from mythical creatures. They'd be sure to conquer the war zone. The Red Ranger was to draw powers from the dragon, allowing him to lead the way and give everyone commands. The Black Ranger was to draw powers from the griffin, and provide everyone with heavy artillery. With a heroic character like this, he can put a stop to all this high-powered propaganda. The Blue Ranger was to draw powers from Pegasus. Do you know what? It's like "Top Gun" with winged horses! He's one light-hearted marksman! The White Ranger was to draw powers from the mermaid. She's sure to make a splash 💦, getting opposing troops wet. The few, the proud, the... Oh, never mind. The Pink Ranger was to draw powers from the phoenix a.k.a. firebird. Evildoers will brace for impact as she executes an air raid that can take the bad guys and nuke 'em! There's no 6th Ranger in "Changeman". Sorry, folks! Anyhow, even "Changeman" needs to use the following mecha: a flying carrier Zord that holds three smaller mecha; a jet plane, a helicopter, and an anonymous tank-like vehicle. Together, they gattai into Dengeki Sentai Changeman's robo. A Megazord that can go marching into the enemy's side of the battlefield. Sentai fans(and Gokaiger) could call it the Blitzkrieg Megazord, patent pending. Adaptation or no adaptation, they're always waging war against evil!
That is the Zekaiger plot A interdimenssional Empire discovers a tecnology capable of turn whole universe into Gears that could have it's energy used for making then stronger.
Here's my idea of the 50th anniversary Sentai. It's a Knight Themed Senati with all members of the Feline Species. Neko Sentai Kishiger. It’s sort of like the Thundercats. 1. Male, Flaming Lion of Leadership, Kishi Red. Weapon: Sword. 2. Male, Aqua Leopard of Wisdom, Kishi Blue. Weapon: Trident 3. Female, Thunderous Cheetah of Speed, Kishi Yellow. Weapon: Daggers 4. Male, Stone Puma of Strength, Kishi Green. Weapon: Axe 5. Female, Gale Lynx of Kindness, Kishi Pink. Weapon: Bow and Arrow 6. 6th Ranger: Male, Divine Tiger of Hope, Kishi White. Weapon: Double Bladed Glaive that becomes dual wield swords. 7. 6th Ranger: Female, Shadowy Panther of Cunning, Kishi Black. Weapon: Double Bladed Glaive that becomes dual wield swords. 8. Extra Ranger: Male, Flurry Sabertooth Tiger of Courage, Kishi Orange. Weapon: Blades Primary Mecha: Neko King. 1. Kishi Lion (Main Body) 2. Kishi Leopard (Right Arm) 3. Kishi Cheetah (Left Arm) 4. Weapon: A pair of moon shaped blades. Mecha: Kishi Wild Cat. Transforms into an arm with it's tail serving as some boomerang or arm blade to any Mecha. Shining Ocelot of the Sun, Kishi Gold. Weapon: A pair of Ocelot shaped Pistols. Mecha: Kishi Ocelot. Transforms into an arm with a blaster in the mouth part and serves as a blaster arm to any Mecha. There will also be a Crimson Kishi Ranger based off of the Cave Lion that's similar to Kishi Red. Blazing Cave Lion of Ancient Lineage, Kishi Crimson. Weapon: Sword and Shield. Mecha: Kishi Cave Lion. Transform into a robot with the addition of Kishi Ocelot and Kishi Wild Cat. The Mecha will be called, Cave King.
@@samflood5631 I add these 2 as well but they r not rangers, rather the wise sages of the gang: Grand Sage Kibou of Fortune, a Nekomata serving as the mastermind of the ranger team and Maoh of Conquest, an Egyptian Mao who was the strongest fighter in the past (legends said he wore a Sphinx suit back then but now too old to morph again)
Gokaiger is really up there with Goranger and the past team members. They will always be better than Megaforce, and that's the truth. Mighty Morphin and the other seasons were great compared to Megafroce and then Tokusatsu had to take the cake with them when they made Gokaiger 10 years after by making a new remix of Hero Getter, giving the team members a future of what they're doing currently with their lives as space pirates. Marvelous's crew is so well put together.

@@b550man bruh power rangers to me fell of after samurai they had a cool series but the fact they rfused to use something else besides remixed "go go power rangers" was just annoying plus now after witnessing sentai anything post rpm just sucks
Do to a couple of things.
The concept is just appreciation of all the past series along with the team being able to turn into all of them.
Then you have the fact this series was coming off the Fukushima Disaster that had this series in particular be used for fundraising for the victims, have something to show the kids to lift spirits and a bunch of the additions of cameos were just a bunch of the old actors wanting to make it special do to the two above reasons, so the scope got a lot bigger then was originally planned.
Add onto that that the merch sales were just insane and the company afterward for the subsequent series were going to have a problem trying to one up itself after something like this. You can see it with the series directly afterward that they got experimental or brought the dinosaur theme back sooner then they usually did. Two teams, biggest team, dino theme switch forms and dream power along with just improved effects cause of there new digital screens, they didn't really get back to the numbers the company wanted till Ryu.
Hell, Go Busters didn't even get the usual team up special do to how it was REALLY hard to follow up the biggest anniversary team in a decade.

@@b550man I totally agree with you on this. I think Gokaiger was one of the best anniversary seasons which can still be used due to the key gimmick. It can continually be used once another set of Sentai team comes out. I can't wait to hear the Hero Getter for the 50th anniversary. It would be a shame if they don't keep using this. Also yeah Super Megaforce was a let down. Japan handed Saban a silver plate...no make that gold plate and he just threw it away. Not to mention, I'm so mad with Hasbro with them just cutting ties with Super Sentai. In a way I understand but then in a way I don't. I mean, you can still make an awesome story using the battle footage. I hope that the new reboot of Power Rangers doesn't flop.

Super Sentai was the first TV show I watched when I was a kid in the 2000 era, Gokaiger is one of the best tribute to Super Sentai, the time when my entire family was nostalgic about their generation of Sentai Rangers.

I just recently finished rewatching Gokaiger for the 5th or 6th time but the nostalgia hit me hard hearing this song once again🏴☠️
I grew up watching Super Megaforce, 10 years later I found this great masterpiece. I was surprised to find out that PR was Japanese, now I know what I missed out on. I did finished watching Gokaiger and their movies like 3 weeks ago, loved Joe's arch in the series. Overall, this show and its American counterpart will always be in my heart as my childhood.
Kaizoku Snetai Gokaiger will always be the best sentai. I have not come across a sentai after their series that had the heart it had. The main red wasn't a happy go lucky push over that we see in series post Gokaiger. I'm biased and will always like more adult themed Red's. Marvelous was a great red/great leader and to see his growth in this series, then in Zyuogher, then again in the 10 years after special. He is so special. I've watched a lot of sentai in my life but Gokaiger is still top notch snetai material.
we're down to the 48th super sentai, close enough to golden anniversary. but still the 35th super sentai was the most iconic and the best anniversary they ever created so far. i'm so hooked up to gokaigers so much that i'd rewatched it for 10 times. gokaiger still the best!

I was a power rangers kid growing up (and still am to a certain extent) and when I found out about super sentai I was shocked that I had never heard about it before. I will sometimes watch sentai but never as much as PR but nonetheless I feel nothing but gratitude for sentai as without it there would be no pr and the world would be a sadder place I hope sentai never ends and I hope PR gets its shit together and also never ends

@@Jay_D_Ashe Yeah, it was their ending song, played in three sections (so you'd get the first 12 teams in one episode, the next 12 in the next, and the remaining 10 in the next, then the first set again, etc). This is actually the fourth version of it, as it was updated for Go-Busters (adding that and Gokaiger, using in their VS movie) and Zyuohger (adding Kyoryu, ToQ, Ninnin and Zyuoh, used in Zyuoh's in-series team-up with Gokaiger) before this one (adding Kyu, Lupat, Ryusoul, Kiramei, and Zenkaiger, used in the 10 years film).

the cast of the next team has been told their show could be its last, their advertising partners have been told this could be the end as well
Both this production and Bandai will need to do a lot to keep the franchise going, or it will end four years short of the 50th anniversary
if it does die, this will affect in the west what Hasbro and Netflix can do for power rangers and will compromise Nichi Asa Kids/Super Hero Time by leaving nothing in the 9:30 in the morning slot japanese standard time as Kamen Rider would be deemed unable to have benefitted from the time switch the two shows did on October 1st, 2017

Super Sentai was started in 1975 with Goranger the first ever Super Sentai in the history of Japan. But in the Philippines they named Star Rangers it was aired on RPN 9 back in the 80’s

Goggle V was the first super sentai series that I watched about 30 years ago. Though I don't watch super sentai anymore coz I feel I'm too old for that, I still know every super sentai squad from GoRanger to Donbrothers and super sentais were/are/and will always be my favorite super heroes.

Anything before "Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger" isn't adaptable; but at least to Gokaiger/Super Megaforce, they're also known as the following:
For Gosei Sentai Dairanger, it would be Power Rangers Thunder Squadron, which should've been how season 2 was supposed to go.
When Zordon and Alpha brung forth the White Ranger, they should've brandished a little treasure chest. Inside the treasure chest, there were to be 5 copies of the Dairanger insignia. The White Ranger was something prepared for them later, whereas the Dairanger insignia x5 was something prepared for them now. All you have to do is never use THAT power for personal gain, refrain from escalating a battle unless Rita(or Zedd, or even the Gorma tribe) forces you, and keep your identity a secret. Put your Dairanger insignia in your morpher, call out the name of your Thunderzord(Mythical Chi Beast), and prepare for battle.
Speaking of Rita, she was very cross. She had it up to here with their heroic deeds, and now knows that they have what appeared to be a logo in the palm of their hands. Just then, Lord Zedd appears.
In my version, he's aided by the Gorma tribe.
Either way, he'll conjure up Pirantishead; one fishy monster of the week.
The White Ranger wouldn't be alone anymore.
They'll need orbs and blades to summon and control their Thunderzords.
If they want to put that stuff on hold, they can call their Dino Zords and use the power of thunder to upgrade them into their Thunderzords.
If not for Rita's stupid energy-sapping candle, he'd still be the Green Ranger.
He'd do the same thing as everyone else, by turning the Dragonzord into the Tigerzord.
But no Titanus! You can't use Titanus! Use Tor the Shuttle Zord instead.
The tiger goes inside the turtle while both the red dragon and the Thunderzord Assault Team(lion, firebird, unicorn, and griffin) go on top of the turtle. The latter uses its staff as a helicopter's rotors to lift upward and plummet down on all those who oppose our heroes.
When all seven Mythical Chi Beasts work together, evildoers are flattened.
With various fighting styles, these super-powered martial artists will give villains what for!
Then there's Dengeki Sentai Changeman, or(through the courtesy of K.S.G.) Power Rangers Blitz Force.
These soldiers of fortune rely on the earth's power, allowing them to draw powers from mythical creatures. They'd be sure to conquer the war zone.
The Red Ranger was to draw powers from the dragon, allowing him to lead the way and give everyone commands.

There's no 6th Ranger in "Changeman". Sorry, folks!
Anyhow, even "Changeman" needs to use the following mecha: a flying carrier Zord that holds three smaller mecha; a jet plane, a helicopter, and an anonymous tank-like vehicle. Together, they gattai into Dengeki Sentai Changeman's robo. A Megazord that can go marching into the enemy's side of the battlefield.
Sentai fans(and Gokaiger) could call it the Blitzkrieg Megazord, patent pending.
Adaptation or no adaptation, they're always waging war against evil!

Here's my idea of the 50th anniversary Sentai. It's a Knight Themed Senati with all members of the Feline Species. Neko Sentai Kishiger. It’s sort of like the Thundercats.
1. Male, Flaming Lion of Leadership, Kishi Red. Weapon: Sword.
2. Male, Aqua Leopard of Wisdom, Kishi Blue. Weapon: Trident
3. Female, Thunderous Cheetah of Speed, Kishi Yellow. Weapon: Daggers
4. Male, Stone Puma of Strength, Kishi Green. Weapon: Axe
5. Female, Gale Lynx of Kindness, Kishi Pink. Weapon: Bow and Arrow
6. 6th Ranger: Male, Divine Tiger of Hope, Kishi White. Weapon: Double Bladed Glaive that becomes dual wield swords.
7. 6th Ranger: Female, Shadowy Panther of Cunning, Kishi Black. Weapon: Double Bladed Glaive that becomes dual wield swords.
8. Extra Ranger: Male, Flurry Sabertooth Tiger of Courage, Kishi Orange. Weapon: Blades
Primary Mecha: Neko King.
1. Kishi Lion (Main Body)
2. Kishi Leopard (Right Arm)
3. Kishi Cheetah (Left Arm)
4. Kishi Puma (Right Leg)
5. Kishi Lynx (Left Leg)
Sixth Ranger Mecha: Yin Yang Knight

Looks like a mix of Ryusoulger and Gekiranger :))

Also I'd love to add a Dark Ranger (who may end up joining the main squad at some point near the end)
Stealthy Liger of Redemption, Kishi Violet (previously Night Liger while still at villain side) Weapon: Fishing Rod with Scythe Edge at its point, some adjustment with extra items can put it into Snipe Rifle mode)
Mech: Kishi Liger, can fight on its own, morph to humanoid form or fuse with the two 6th to form the Sin Neko Knight

Howling Wild Cat of the Moon, Kishi Silver. Weapon: A pair of moon shaped blades.
Mecha: Kishi Wild Cat. Transforms into an arm with it's tail serving as some boomerang or arm blade to any Mecha.
Shining Ocelot of the Sun, Kishi Gold.
Weapon: A pair of Ocelot shaped Pistols.
Mecha: Kishi Ocelot. Transforms into an arm with a blaster in the mouth part and serves as a blaster arm to any Mecha.
There will also be a Crimson Kishi Ranger based off of the Cave Lion that's similar to Kishi Red.
Blazing Cave Lion of Ancient Lineage, Kishi Crimson. Weapon: Sword and Shield.
Mecha: Kishi Cave Lion. Transform into a robot with the addition of Kishi Ocelot and Kishi Wild Cat. The Mecha will be called, Cave King.
@@samflood5631 I add these 2 as well but they r not rangers, rather the wise sages of the gang: Grand Sage Kibou of Fortune, a Nekomata serving as the mastermind of the ranger team and Maoh of Conquest, an Egyptian Mao who was the strongest fighter in the past (legends said he wore a Sphinx suit back then but now too old to morph again)

Gokaiger is really up there with Goranger and the past team members. They will always be better than Megaforce, and that's the truth. Mighty Morphin and the other seasons were great compared to Megafroce and then Tokusatsu had to take the cake with them when they made Gokaiger 10 years after by making a new remix of Hero Getter, giving the team members a future of what they're doing currently with their lives as space pirates. Marvelous's crew is so well put together.
Can't wait when they now have to do 50th anniversary version
