Grace, I would STRONGLY recommend a video where you take items like the first dress (or even items you find in the charity shop that you love but don't fit quite right) to the tailors! Take a couple of pieces you're on the fence about and see what happens when they are made-to-measure for you. The first dress just needs an inch or two off the waist to nip it in and it would be perfect. Tailoring in the UK is much cheaper than the US so it shouldn't be too pricey, plus they are usually independent local businesses which are brilliant to support.
Top tip: John Lewis does free personal styling. The sessions are 1-3 hours, and you can book as many sessions as you want. There's ZERO pressure to buy anything. They ask you your style, put your skin colour/body shape into consideration, budget (but again zero pressure to buy). I redid my whole wardrobe a few months ago and it was honestly the best thing ever. The woman I got (the John Lewis in Stratford - Westfield) was absoooolutely amazing! 10/10 recommend their personal styling xx
she's clearly not comfortable in the blazer but i thought it looked fantastic too! quite chic! grace, if you ever do want to go out of your comfort zone - start with the blazer!
LOVED it ALL! Especially how stylist included the pops of red/orange, which brightened up your usual palette, she really put together an awesome capsule for you which pieces that can be interchanged and worn several ways. The orange/red pants are fabulous, please get in size up, they are soooo pretty on you!
I think in general she did an amazing job (especially compared to other videos I've seen) and really nailed your style plus tried to get you out of your comfort zone. I actually do love the tan and red/orange combo btw! :)
Absolutely not. The outfits look like they would suit an old school marm who was about 50-60. Terrible choices. And no, it does not suit Grace at all. These styles are too old for her. They look like old lady clothes.
This red trousers looked fabulous with the jumper but those red trousers really did look awesome and with a black or navy or striped top will be lovely for summer,,,
Tan jacket absolutely goes. It’s a neutral. It tones down the red which was beautiful. Everything is awesome except the last sweater. The shoes would have gone perfectly with everything and they are so cute.
The orange/red sleeveless top looks amazing! Think you should keep for summer for sure. Also the red trousers look like a good length and the pink striped top looks so good. Sezane knit jumper is stunnng
This is such a cool video idea! Also Grace is like a stylist's dream client considering she was literally a model and could practically look good in a plastic bag.
Uhhh yes Grace! Would love to see a part 2! Loved the outfits on you but especially the one that made you do a lil happy dance! - that's when you know an outfit is banging! - I've always loved your vids x
Grace,,, the blazer and orange blouse look STUNNING on you!!! I know it prob feels a bit weird but it made you pop so well. Maybe one day you'll like it but for me that was one of my favs!!
So many of these look great! The open back vest and white jeans, the cardigan at the end, the read trouser outfit. Its like Grace style but elevated. She did a really good job!
Please do the styling out of your comfort zone video! I thought you looked amazing in all the pieces you said you’d normally never buy :) (but I agree those sandals were not it)
I think some of the outfits were on the older-lady side, especially the white flowery blouse and pink striped shirt. But LOVED the black frilly blouse w/ jeans and the orange top!!
I actually liked the tan blazer with your outfits! That camel shade is a neutral and goes with pretty much anything. It wa fun to watch and see your preferences and what you’d keep or send back.
Omg honestly, out of the things u didn't like, I love the blazer w the patterned top & red trousers outfit! Gives the outfit more of a softness & classiness & makes it a bit less loud And I loved the open back orange top too 🥺 I think it rlly suits your bright, lively personality!! And again, The jacket makes the outfit less bold & more soft/ mature Also the dark brown jacket w the blouse and jeans looked great imo, it matched really well, again gave the outfit more of a warm, cosy, 'reliable' feel (lmao sorry different colours give me different personality vibes, hope u get me) which again, goes well with your personality In general, apart from the clothes that didn't fit, I loved all the outfits your stylist gave u hahahaha, ngl I rlly hope u reconsider the ones I mentioned 😭 she did an amazing job!!!
Another idea for a video could be getting your colours done (where they tell you what colours suit your complexion and hair colour, eye colour etc by using colour swatches next to your face/around your neck and shoulders) it's really interesting to see how much the colour and tons of colour can alter the way you look. You are either a Winters, Spring, Summer or Autumn pallet and each season pallet has different colours. It can then help you in your future clothing choices❤️ I'm not an expert but I'd say you're Summer or maybe Spring Or maybe trying to put together 5 different outfits only using thrift stores/charity shops?!❤️ Outfits out of your comfort zone would be great too as you suggested ❤️
In video, I can't tell the difference between the shape of the first dress and the second one. I'm surprised Grace felt the first one was frumpy compared to the second one when she felt more cinched. But on camera I preferred the first dress to the second, because I thought the larger print looked nicer on her, plus I didn't love the dangly bits on the sleeves of the second dress.
The cinching is at the waist on the second dress rather than under the bust like the first, I have a similar long floral dress and it cinches in under the bust and I feel like I look like a mum in it haha.
3:52 My grandpa had a pair of sandals just like those, and I remember I would stick flowers into the holes. Eventually it became not so popular and he would say " please no more flowers in my shoes!!"
Okay but that red/orange open back top looked absolutely amazing on you!! I think you should keep it or possibly order one in a different colour that you might prefer. The stylist did great and you looked beautiful in the outfits. I can’t wait to see you getting styled in outfits that are out of your comfort zone cause I know you’ll look great 💕
she didnt use many shoes i noticed, and i agree i dont like the sandles she chose but the outfits are so cute! i like the fashion video bit of a change from food which is nice from you :)
You look really good in the red outfits, I really like the one with the orange and blue jumper and red trousers with blazer as well as just the red/orange top with the whiteish trousers and the blazer, you look really really good!! The red/orange suits you!
My favorites were the Sezanne jumper and trousers, the Mango dress shirt with black pants, the red Me & Em pants, and the Stradivarius cardigan. I know the cardigan wasn’t a keeper for you, but it looked great!!
The one outfit - the Sezane sweater, red orange pants and tan blazer.. everything is on the warm side of the colour wheel. The whole look feels very Trinny London. Only she would most likely add a statement piece of jewelry to bring it all together.
I would be interested to know how much this all cost. How much was the service, what did you give her as a budget, what did you keep (if anything) and how much did that cost? I would be interested in doing this for myself and it would be good to know about affordable it is.
@@aboxedwater yes but that was just for the counseling basically, and doesn't include cost of the actual clothing, and it's good to know what the original budget that Grace mentioned !
@@LisavonWerder stylists don't pay for outfits, they just style. The stylist charged 200£ to 'style' grace. They don't pay for the clothes. its a good idea if you are selling all of your clothes and want a new look and can afford to buy a new wardrobe. I guess its based on whatever the individual can afford/what they usually buy.
The stylist did a brilliant job. Especially love the first Sezanne jumper 😍 I do have to say that those sandals that came late are giving me serious 'The Witches' vibes 😆😆
Grace, you look beautiful in that blue dress that you liked best. You looked so completely comfortable and that color is definitely you! Love you girl!
Hehe can't beat an Oodie or Pufflie.i have a rainbow Pufflie from the same company as the one Grace has and I practically lived in it over last 2 Winters!😂🌈
The blue cardigan goes so well with the painting next to it and looks really flattering. Another one I like is the pink or red striped collared shirt on you. It seems like you enjoy enough Classic (/dramatic?) minimalism to your look, not too much going on.
The pinky-red striped shirt looked fabulous on you and fit perfectly. I'd like to see you do a thrift shop clothing style thing, maybe with your mom. It'd be fun to see what outfits you two could find online or in person. I'd also like to see you style Honor, from thrift shops.
This was so fun Grace! I think the stylist did a great job of picking outfits you would actually pick out but also given you a couple of pieces you might not pair/choose to push you further! I loved that sezane jumper with the little orange/blue contrast pop, you look fab 😊
wow the sezanne red, blue, cream and brown jumper and your loose cream pants look so gorgeous on you. Idk what it is but the loose silhouette was just so pretty on you x
Hey Grace I would absolutely love if you made a video exploring fast fashion and second hand shopping as I think it’s an interesting topic and would made a really good video. I also think a really great idea would be if you got a stylist to style your current wardrobe. You know, see if they can bring some new outfit combos and love to old clothes you might not always wear anymore. Love the video as always🥰
I really liked this video! I think the white jeans, Birkenstocks, orange-red open back vest and blazer is legit the BEST OUTFIT THERE! You SO rock that Grace! Pls keep it

@@graceelizabeth130 do it!!! Honestly, it has given me SO much confidence/appreciation for my wardrobe
I actually think the orange tank looks AMAZING on you (without the tan jacket). It brings out the pink of your cheeks and gives you a healthy glow!
agreeeeeee except for the black top i actually think this was the best one. an excellent layering piece too.
The tan and the red is a perfect combo. Also the red trousers look amazing on you. I’d love to be able to carry that off.
I totally agree! I thought the blazer looked really nice too :)
she's clearly not comfortable in the blazer but i thought it looked fantastic too! quite chic! grace, if you ever do want to go out of your comfort zone - start with the blazer!
