hey I have a 1996 Grand Marquis and well I wanted to lower the car and put some rims on it and have it as a drift build I went to your website to see about some wheels and coilovers and y'all don't have nothing to lower it
Almost right about the fans. They pull air OUT instead of in. It's to pull the stagnant hot air out from the brakes, while the ducting from the bumper brings in the cool air.
From what I understood about the history of them, they were actually not as effective at keeping brakes cool as just not having them installed at all. Regardless, they look cool af, so who cares.
The main job was creating vacuum under the car to make ground effect. The regulations of FIA banned activ airodynamics so the manufacturers try to explain the item for cooling the brakes but that was only to try distract the FIA. It's never been used as a cooling item.
4STROKEBLOKE they’re not. Alex even Said it. Pure cosmetic. It doesn’t have the fans of a turbofan. It’s literally hubcaps for your rims. Which is fine, it looks good
That’s what brought me here. Thought it would look sick on my s4. I’m thinking bout the LAS Rs though as they look a bit more rally without the aerodisc
Yooooooo. I dig it. I've always wanted turbo fans. I like how they can switch up your wheels without unbolting them. It seems that the rally look is trending. I'd be 100% sold if they are functional for extracting heat from the brakes. I'd piece together a lightweight set for track days.
It's never been used for cooling purposes, the main purpose was creating vacuum under the car to become ground effect... Manufacturers pretending it was for cooling because FIA banned activ airodynamics so the manufacturers try to explain the item for cooling purposes but it was never used for that...
Are you stupid? The ENTIRE reason for turbofans was to pull hot air away from the brakes. They had the added benefit of providing extra downforce, but that wasn't the goal.
I'm 55. This reminds me of many Turbo-style wheels, I think that's what they were called, that were common on German tuner cars in the late-80s. I think it looks cool, assuming the rest of the car can support it.
I like the idea. Buildable 1pc wheel, different but i really like the turbo fan addition. If they're not super expensive and wanna change the look of your car, why not?
Those would look badass on a classic BMW 2002 or a Mazda 323 GTX. I could see those on a MK1 or 2 Golf with a swapped VR6 in classic race trim. Even a 1st Gen Miata with those color matched would look sweet.
I would love to see them do a design like the bbs turbofan. Flat face not concave with fins sticking out the side and the mesh design drawn on the face. This just looks too plain but I hope they don't just stop here
Rotiform should just make a solid black rim with uniquely designed interchangeable faces...... he'll even make it so that you can design your own rim face and send specs to their machine shop for an additional cost that would be dope as fk
Don ellis they use to do this. You use to be able to just order faces and some of their designs are from people out side of the company but when MHT bought them that all stopped
Please Help, i have an issue for Rotiform DTM 19” 5x112 installed at BMW X1 F48. After 2 days installations the center hub caps can’t opened by the plastic opener tools. The plastic tools is very week power to get any tension to get the cap opens. Please give me Any advice, how to get the cap open, i have frustrated at this entire day ☹️ Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
I'd run them on my A4 b6 but I have stock a6 BBS wheels. little much to go buying wheels to be able to run um though. But yes I believe it also helps with lowering the air pressure under the car as well, How much who knows.
Wheel becomes a centrifugal compressor. Air is sucked out from the brakes, not in... ;) Difference in airspeed cause air to "shoot out" in the outer diameter of the wheel. Check Zender turbo wheels.
I usually really don’t like German or euro cars just because I’ve had good experiences with my old 98 Subaru Legacy and my new(ish) VW is a nightmare, but I love turbofans so much 😂. They just look too cool.
The "Chaparral 2J" used fans to create a suction, forcing the 2J downward. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a quality wheel company (FI) that made a wheel that the spokes were functional fan blades that turned each wheel in to a fan and sucked the vehicle down? It must be a "not-so-great" idea or it would have been done by now. Maybe it would look cool-ish. I don't know. does anyone know why this isn't done?
Guys could you compare the plastic center lock with the metal one ? I guess the metal is longer to tight the whole thing together I wanna buy them for my LHR-M but not sure if they will fit
Don't click this link... bit.ly/2O8WEMb
Fitment Industries are you sure it’s 3-4 weeks till release as of yday? Or did you get the letter/package late
I didn't

So its hubcaps for your rims
nope, centers for 3 piece wheels
or centers for rotiform monoblocks.
No it's hubcaps for rims
No. They're more like turbofans
4STROKEBLOKE they’re not. Alex even Said it. Pure cosmetic. It doesn’t have the fans of a turbofan. It’s literally hubcaps for your rims. Which is fine, it looks good
That Aerodisk is actually beautiful, just sitting back and thinking how it’ll look on my B5😍👏🏽
Hi mate ! Gonna take them for my b5 😉
I dont think it would fit The Look of an a4
Take a look at JP Performance he has a B5 Sedan with a 5zyl. Swap. He have a Channel but its on german.
That’s what brought me here. Thought it would look sick on my s4. I’m thinking bout the LAS Rs though as they look a bit more rally without the aerodisc
Would love these on an RMS c6
You guys should do a video on the best looking factory oem wheels:)
Karambit US That’s not a bad idea! We’ll throw it on our idea list!
Oh that would be badass. No supercars though
Yeah that will be pretty badass
Fitment Industries Ima throw my two cents and I’m gonna suggest BMWs M-Parallels off of the e38. My dream wheels for my e34^^
Volvo R rims are unique!!
It would look super dope in carbon fiber!
just waiting for Rotiform to do a forged wheel at 1k.
Love the look of these! I prefer these in white and obviously with branding :). Wish I they made these "plates" for factory rims too
Make a "THE TRUTH ABOUT FITMENT INDUSTRIES" video.
Genius.
It's on the way playboi!! We gotta hit 100k first! 🙌
Yes .... For my C5 2005 allroad in full color ebony metallic black, that will rock ...
Nice. Inspiration from older race cars, like old WRC cars, even the Mazda 787B was running a front aero disk wheel.
Yooooooo. I dig it. I've always wanted turbo fans. I like how they can switch up your wheels without unbolting them. It seems that the rally look is trending.

If only they were functional......
OMG. Best thing from Rotiform till now! Big thumb up!
I think these could good look pretty cool on a Subaru STi/WRX or Ford Fiesta/Focus tarmac rally build.
Michael Stenhjem rather see actual OZ wheels on a tarmac rally car tbh, especially in the more appropriate sizes of 16/17s
You guys are dope as HELLLLLLLLL
respect to the man who started this channel
I dig it a lot. I'm sure they will do all kinds of designs for the turbo fan.
I'm 55. This reminds me of many Turbo-style wheels, I think that's what they were called, that were common on German tuner cars in the late-80s. I think it looks cool, assuming the rest of the car can support it.

The e30 would kill with these versatile set up ! I need some !
Those wheels looks AWESOME with the turbofans!
I think I just fell in love with Rotiform
Can't wait I have on order same set up in 19s going on my 2021 Model 3..🔥😎
The cover gives a nice representation of the oz’s

They are.. beautiful, on the inside
I'd run these in a heartbeat on my plug in hybrid, just not in 19"
Fitment industries. The best place to get ur rims reviewed.
this will look amazing on the e3o
I would love to see them do a design like the bbs turbofan. Flat face not concave with fins sticking out the side and the mesh design drawn on the face. This just looks too plain but I hope they don't just stop here
D-LNG fans do this. Look him up on Insta.
That ROTIFORM wheel has something about 90's BBS wheels... 🤔
✌
You guys should review bad wheel trends like spinners😂
Its actually pretty cool looking.
Hub caps? Damn, really... would make more sense if they were just to protect your show car wheels between shows.
or between racing or something similar to both
Why cant they be used for what you use them for?

If that thing looks familiar to you, that means you've seen Ken Block's '13 Ford Fiesta gymkhana 6, but they have different color scheme
love it... i can c it helping withsnow too
That’s awesome 👏 as I seen on the site and thought it was a one piece rim. 🤙🏼 cheers for the vid. Time to get some
The cover is Similar to the directional wheel CCV made from them as well.
Love this! Bbs rs livery on that fan looks fab!
Would the 19s fit on volvo s60r?
As an old school rally fan, I knew exactly they were as you pulled them out 😍 time to get an old school Audi
Yes please, i would run Aerodisc.
You are right, that's what the fans are for
Thank you so much for saying voila properly 👋🙏
Dope wheels! I'm feeling the tubro fan
I actually like the idea of turbo fans! Can’t wait to see the final product
This is exactly what I'm looking for.
Scrive for success, that's the rotiform way.

It actually is potentially functional, if you want to keep the heat in your brakes (especially rear) these would reduced air flow
Is the aerodisc available for 18/8.5?
Are these include when u purchase the wheel?
It would be sick if you guys would test fit these wheels, you receive to show us, on employee cars so we know how they look installed
I've been scouting out w124 wagons all day and a set of these would look nasty on one
Iconic BBS wheel
I'd run them on my A4 b6 but I have stock a6 BBS wheels. little much to go buying wheels to be able to run um though. But yes I believe it also helps with lowering the air pressure under the car as well, How much who knows.
You could wrap it! And
Make it look like blocks 1552

Matej Ogrinec modernized version was the wheels on the mclaren SLR which did the same job
Cool..i definitely will buy this turbo fan
Definitely some nice wheels
I wonder if you can install it on other non rotiform wheels.
I own a MKV GTI, Should I get an Exhaust or Coilovers first ?
Coils my man!
I usually really don’t like German or euro cars just because I’ve had good experiences with my old 98 Subaru Legacy and my new(ish) VW is a nightmare, but I love turbofans so much 😂. They just look too cool.
I think Volk/Rays and mugen back in the day had a similar design on one of their wheels.
What rims are in the bottom right of the video?(on the wall)There ls a bronze and silver of the same rim.
Thanks
Rohana RFX 11 which can be found here! ---> bit.ly/2xMBlGh

What’s the 2 wheels on the bottom right on the last row? The bronze and silver wheels?
Those are the Rohana RFX11 that can be found here! ---->bit.ly/2xMBlGh 🙌
They are produced only in 19 '. Can you try to see the result on 18 'RSE mags?
does it fit everywhere or do i also need the rims from rotiform?
It needs to be on Rotiforms!
Does the offset really matter. Can't find much about these except that they need to be 18 or 19 x 8.5
Would you guys ever do something involving Fifteen 52? Wheel history, wheel spotlight, etc.?
Soooooo, they made fancy hub caps. Walmart was right all along.
Cant wait to get new rims for the 2020 subaru wrx
It would be alot cooler if u could see more of the wheel
Love this wheel😍🤩
What is the wheel directly behind you with the red face and black lip?
ESR ES1-T
Guys could you compare the plastic center lock with the metal one ?
I guess the metal is longer to tight the whole thing together
I wanna buy them for my LHR-M but not sure if they will fit
88-89 Chrysler conquest tsi & Mitsubishi starion esi-r had a SHP option that had those covers call AERO covers. Super rare
I looove turbo fans, we can say I am a turbo fan fan jajaja
are they available in 17s?
Sadly these are only available in 19" 😬
Came back to look at these beauties
Do they fit on other rotifom wheels?
The Aerodisc only is meant to cover the LAS-R and the RSE!
Love them!
I have a RSE set but in size 18 x 8.5 there is a kit for that set
IS THERE SET FOR RSE 18 X 8.5?
Shoot us an email at shop@fitmenintdustries.com and we can take a look for you!
I need these for 17" wheels!
I sold a pair of Speed Star Racing EX-C AERO for like 3 grand back in 010'. Kinda wishing I hand't though.
I like it! Seen those on old school VW Golfs
a gift for that special hipster in your life
If only...only!!! There was an E30 you could put those on....hmmmmm 🤔🤔🤔🤔
😂 😂 😂 Only for audis💪💪💪

Yessss!!!!
Wonder if they could of made the turbo fan for my 15s bmw style 29, lol there pretty the same style wheel or copy.
would i be able to put these on some ccv's?
YES!
my bmw 2002 model is going just this way Thanks guys !
that is a great way to put things from the border...
Looks a bit cheap to me but knowing roti they will be more than a set of wheels.
All for show not a patch on bbs turbo fans they stick out a lot more
I think that's seriously cool 😎.
🤔But are they maybe like wheel trims, hub caps for alloys lol
Weird and ugly can be good🤔 I dig em👏
