You've made some beautiful plans, I'm looking forward to seeing some of them made up. I love linen too - in all it's forms! I have some beautiful linen/wool blends in my stash as well as linen/viscose (so dreamy!) and regular linen. It's so versatile and wearable all year. My favourite thing about it is that it doesn't stick to tights/pantyhose so it's great to wear in cooler months with boots!
I just discovered your podcast and enjoyed it very much, so I subscribed. I like the way you plan your makes. I do have a written plan for my knitting projects, but I am rather lax on making seasonal plans for sewing! I like to stitch cotton fabric, especially lawn, but I do have some Brussels linen blend on my wish list which I really need to try for summer. I like Blackbird Fabrics and will try their linen that you like. I look forward to your next podcast. Thanks, Sarah.
Hy love your channel so informative,I too love linen ,I’ve just made the Xanthe dress in a black and white linen viscose from Guthrie and Garnhi and it’s lovely I’m going on a trip to King Charles Highgrove garden in July so needed a special dress (well that’s my excuse ) so hope the weather is good so I don’t have to cover it up . Love the blue denim xx
Loved this episode! Can't wait to see how these all turn out! Have you made the Reynolds top or dress by Helen's Closet? I have a black linen/viscose blend (not Brussels washer linen) and it is my most worn summer dress (and most complicated, too)!
Yes, another linen lover here 👋🏻 I wore linen throughout the Canadian winter and loved it! I decided linen is all-season fabric!
I agree! I wear my linen pieces all year long!

I made a Reynolds right when it came out a few years ago! Def need to make another one soon, it’s such a good pattern!
Could you make the skirt detatchable from the light blue performance fabric? Then you would get the best of both worlds.
That’s a great idea!
