Never considered a GMC until I landed in a dealership because my husband wanted a truck. I then test drove a terrain and fell in love with how smooth and quiet the ride is. I immediately traded my RAV4 for it! It isn’t as popular as Toyota but I feel like it drives so much better. And what shocked me the most is when I saw the lit GMC logo on the ground from the car when it is off (when the key is nearby). Fancy stuff!
Thanks for the comment! I always tell people to go to the dealership, sit in a vehicle and take it fod a test drive. You may be surprised by many manufacturers. Congratulatiosn on your new vehicle!
I don't know if they took away this feature or not. But i know on the Terrain your able too completely fold flat the front passenger seat. Increasing the cargo capacity from 63.3 up too about 80 for long items. Which i think is a GREAT feature most SUV's don't offer.
yup, every trim has it, you can tell by the back of the front passenger seat, has plastic there instead of material. Every suv should have this feature.
One point you missed when you talked about the rear bumper, you didn't point out it had backup sensors across the bumper that might be important to some people especially on this base model.
but the blind shot is in backing out from between cars, you want to glance out at the rear corners to see people/cars moving behind you. It helps if you have the optional package that has rear cross traffic alert with the park assist too. Those tiny "up high" windows are not cool.
@@MattTheCarguy awesome thanks. I’m 6’2” Test driving a Terrain Monday. Looks like you had plenty of room so don’t anticipate a problem. Really informative video thanks.

What's trim model did you purchase if you don't mind me asking of the Terrain?

Nice review man! I actually like the Terrain.
Thank you for watching! They are nice.

You got it! I would say 90% or more modern cars have it as standard equipment. Rearview camera are now required by law as well. Good point!
Backup sensors are part of an option package and not standard on the SLE or SLT (at least in Canada).
Planning to lease this one!
👍Do they have any lease deals now?
Remove the rear head rests and you won't have a blind spot. If your able folks can and should do this too ALL SUV's. It greatly improves visibility.
Until you have passengers in the rear seat.
