Nice video. After viewing lots of images from both, I went with the K50 and I'm very happy with it. I use P (program) mode about 80% of the time and shoot RAW+JPEG. I like JPEG for little to no post processing with camera saturation set to vivid for more saturation. I'm not knocking the Canon at all as it's a great camera, but for me the weather resistant body and lens gives me the protection I need in the outdoors. I suggest one rent both for a day as to get a feel for each. No bad choice here.

Nice words. Thanks. Try using AV and M mode for better output :) And avoid shooting RAWS if you dont care about post processing.
