It depends on your performance in afmc during mbbs period . If u have performed well in academics then you are free to choose but if you have just passed or your rank is lower in your class then you will get what is left by your fellow classmates which is most likely to be SSC.

upto my knowledge, after graduating from afmc and doing 2 years of field experience u can join as permanent comission and can pursue ur PG along with tha, there is no hinderence in PG by joining AFMC.....please dont misinform people

Dr. but thats just ur post, by doing MD or MS u can become an MD doctor or surgeon, before that u r just a general doctor.....after MBBS be it from AFMC or any other med college, u r just a general doctor,i.e, dont have a speciality, afte MD or MS u become a diagnostician in master of medicine etc, or by MS u become a Surgeon in a respective speciality, after that if u want a super speciality u can apply for NEETss....
