Such a great way to present the goal of every Christian, now we can run the race knowing what we are looking forward to. I watched this last week. 4 days back an agnostic colleague of mine asked "so, everyone talks about the end times are at hand and to get ready. So how am I supposed to get ready, What! look forward to dying?". Watching this 3 days earlier and having had read Heaven by Randy Alcorn gave me such confidence to say "No, I am not looking forward to dying, I am looking forward to eternal living, to end of "time", to no limitation on time." and we went on to talk about salvation and how to be part of the eternal life. Br. John Eldredge, thank you for such nice drama and presentation. Love the way you present with such enthusiasm and hope and conviction. Today as I presented this to my teens, they loved it - they have a hope not only for themselves but for their generation. Thank you again.
When I first was saved the bible scriptures came alive to me and as I read I saw that the bible scriptures from Genesis to Revelation is but a circle! At the very end of time (Revelation) we end up back in genesis… Eden! Yet I found in church this was barely spoken of? It is always lovely to hear this hope the bible speaks of. Thank you John Eldridge.
Went to Colorado Springs Thursday on a journey to find my heart. Listened to Wild at Heart in my car driving. Tried to climb Pike's peak Friday. I was William Wallace at the start of the climb from Crags campground. Jesus was with me and I was talking with him the whole way. Made it through the devils playground and the weather came in. I turned around praying every painful step to make it below the tree line without being struck by lightning. I made it. Then it started to hail. I had about givin up , sheltering under some tree branches when out of nowhere a young man past me going down. My pain left me, I dropped the fig leaf (listen to wild at heart)again and I followed his footprints in the hail all the way down. It was absolutely amazing how the Lord showed his power and might on this hike. At the end of the trail, the young man (or angel)was sitting as if waiting to see if I made it. We spoke briefly about the journey, smiled and wave by to each other. I got in my car and wept all the way back to Colorado Springs. Already a Christian, this journey to the mountains has changed my life and given me me a renewed hope as a man to keep pursuing a relationship with Jesus every day. Thank you Lord, Dr.KB, and John Eldredge.
YES! A THOUSAND TIMES, "YES!" FINALLY, SOMEBODY GETS IT! Heaven is not our eternal, forever home! There is coming a NEW Heaven and a NEW Earth! And we will live FOREVER on the NEW Earth!
I started reading this book, "All Things New", and it's renewed the hope I had and giving me new hope for a tomorrow I can barely imagine but try! It's really a great book!
I pray this is accurate. Hallelujah!! That means I don't have to stuff this entire list into the next 30-40 years. And I'll be fit enough to actually enjoy the journey. Tee hee!!
so powerful, thank you for inspiring hope..I have been involved with empowering secondary school girls in my rural community in Zimbabwe through provision of sanitary pads so to keep them in school - your message on Wild at Heart made me create a platform for secondary school boys in my community where we sit and reflect on what it means to be a man!
Great stuff! I've spent the last month recovering from a car wreck and have experienced my hope being slowly stripped from my system. This message made my heart leap several times! Coming back for more ASAP!
This book depresses me not sure why. I'm the type of person that likes to be in the now. Even if its not perfect. Dwelling on a future you don't know much about just gets you sad about loss. My sister was in a near fatal car crash a few years ago and she loves the book.
This man's ideas/message does me absolutely no good - it's completely pie-in-the-sky and sort of smoke and mirrors. Further this whole initial analysis is far more self-serving than actually dealing with the real issues - at best, I find this gravely disappointing...😢
A very interesting topic.... When Christ says ....Behold I make all things new. ....I believe he is talking about our Inner world which gets very chaotic and when that happens we start acting out in healthy forms and blunting what Is real....
Beautiful, John!!! This is an inspired message the world needs to hear. Can't wait to finish the book and pass it along to a friend..... Great words of encouragement I really needed!
A few thoughts: What is the gospel Jesus spoke of? What is the narrow gate He spoke of? Why did He say few find it? Yes, the few who find it will enter in the renewal of all things, but only those who are led by God's Spirit are children of God. These are the few. So, please consider, why are there only few?
Jason Spencer likely the renewal of humanity as it was designed to be originally along with the different cultures that evolved throughout the centuries. I personally can’t wait to have a bonfire with some Vikings that turned to Christ centuries ago and swap stories from our different times in the present age. Not sure if that’s what you’re asking tho.
If we would stop building Starbucks on every corner....and wallmarts and skyscrapers and stop killing the trees and building shopping centers every where and stop polluting the air....then WE CAN LIVE IN A BEAUTIFUL EARTH
What if people haven't fallen in love yet and would want to experience it with another person. I haven't found my true love yet and would like to eventually. 😀
He said Jesus was Scott free...but how did he still have the holes in his hands and in his side that the deciples put there fingers in when they saw him
Pearl * Tears he means Scott free as in the debt has been paid. The sentence for our guilt has been carried out. The scars of Jesus are now an ever present reminder of how far he was willing to go because he loved you and me.
This man's ideas/message does me absolutely no good - it's completely pie-in-the-sky and sort of smoke and mirrors. Further this whole initial analysis is far more self-serving than actually dealing with the real issues - at best, I find this gravely disappointing...😢 If this speaker was to engage with these matters in genuine integrity... and working together with the facts, he would knowledge that literally hundreds of millions of people are doing fine without any such notion of the future renewed Earth. And not just a few people with such a vision are leading depressing damaged meaningless into lives including suicide. That's who needs to be realistic about what the sources of genuine hope are the most human beings. Desk needs to deal with this very serious issue in reality and not just out of his own self-serving ego.
I'm sad that you are unable to recognize the truth of the almighty God and believe that the mess we have made of the earth and the beautiful people on this earth. Justice WILL be served even if it cannot be so on this earth. Only those who will believe and repent of their going against the God of the universe and of time can and will has set up the process in the Life, Death and resurrection of Messiah Yeshau/Jesus and all who believe get another chance at life free just believe and be blessed.

YES! A THOUSAND TIMES, "YES!"
FINALLY, SOMEBODY GETS IT!
Heaven is not our eternal, forever home! There is coming a NEW Heaven and a NEW Earth! And we will live FOREVER on the NEW Earth!
a profound way of cutting through "Christianesse" and religiosity. This is the "kingdom come" we pray for.
I started reading this book, "All Things New", and it's renewed the hope I had and giving me new hope for a tomorrow I can barely imagine but try! It's really a great book!
I want to buy a copy myself

Love this! I wrote a blog about the whole "you want to spend eternity in heaven" deal. Heaven is NOT our eternal home. The new earth is!
Best Ted Talk ever! 🤣
this is a wolf in sheep’s clothing
Matthew 7:15-16
May God bless all who listen to this with discernment and wisdom, in Jesus name.
.... Amen! .... Chin Up! ... Praise The Lord! .......
I could not love this more!!!!
You are always so encouraging, Mr. Eldredge. I thank God for you, and I speak out a blessing of joy and encouragement over you in the name of Jesus.

Beautiful. I love your enthusiasm. This message fills the crevices of my heart. Thank you.

I love this message, so true - I yearn to hear more about the heaven that is to come.
This might be THEE most powerful, most beautiful, most amazing message I have ever heard! This gives me hope!
This man's ideas/message does me absolutely no good - it's completely pie-in-the-sky and sort of smoke and mirrors.

It will great joy, but today I have work to do for the Father.
A very interesting topic.... When Christ says ....Behold I make all things new. ....I believe he is talking about our Inner world which gets very chaotic and when that happens we start acting out in healthy forms and blunting what Is real....
Scripture also talks about God making a "New Heaven and New Earth." Of course, this includes our inner world. But he clearly says "all things."
Beautiful, John!!! This is an inspired message the world needs to hear. Can't wait to finish the book and pass it along to a friend..... Great words of encouragement I really needed!
so powerful! I love the message and the way John tells it - sensible, calm and with emotions. You are a big blessing! Greetings from Germany ;)
I needed to see this. Thank you.
Also it is wonderful about his statement that animals will be in heaven. Why wouldn't they be when Jesus is coming on a horse? Duh. :)
This is so exciting because I get to talk to Abraham Lincoln and John the Baptist and Mother Teresa!!! I Conan ride a rhino!
I Hope God .... Taps You ..... On The Shoulder .... Today! ..... Blessings , ..... Mr Eldredge

right on
A wonderful hope! Other religions teach this too...the Jehovah Witnesses and some other groups come to mind.
Would the renewal of "all things" also mean the renewal of all of humanity?
Jason Spencer likely the renewal of humanity as it was designed to be originally along with the different cultures that evolved throughout the centuries. How do we know this utopian vision will actually come to pass?
If we would stop building Starbucks on every corner....and wallmarts and skyscrapers and stop killing the trees and building shopping centers every where and stop polluting the air....then WE CAN LIVE IN A BEAUTIFUL EARTH
I love John! But there will be no sea on the new earth :((((
That passage is referring to the sea as a habitation of evil. I believe it’s used elsewhere like that as well.
If we going to live in harmony with all creatures what are we going to eat.
We'll eat vegen! There are some very good vegen foods that taste a lot like meat.
What if people haven't fallen in love yet and would want to experience it with another person. I haven't found my true love yet and would like to eventually. 😀
Recommend 'Hope Beyond Hell' by Gerry Beauchemin :)
Elijah can finally be seen in the video Imagine the Bi le Corrupted
What will the renewed career be of the bankers and wall street guys?

These are the badges of a Hero who has died for the whole world. We hope that many many will hear and believe and join the Kingdom of Faith.
