- Old Trafford flooded with water at the end of Manchester United's game with Arsenal on Sunday, leaking through the roof and cascading through the stands.

Footage also shows the roof in Arsenal's dressing room leaking water on to the players. The Glazers, Manchester United's long-time owners, have often been criticised by fans for their apparent reluctance to invest in updating and adequately maintaining the increasingly ageing stadium.

Old Trafford : “Glazers still here? Fine I’ll disassemble myself”
the glazers never invested in the club for the past 20 years they took 1 billion out
@@ravd8082 ah yes the floor is made out of floor
The stadium is in nearly bad a shape as the team

nah welcome to the theatre of tears
Actual healthcare safety hazard, lucky they are who they are. Regular businesses would be shut down
Portsmouth had warnings about future health and safety issues at Fratton Park from years of nothing being done due to the financial issues, and had threats of having a forced reduced capacity if nothing was done and yet I had never seen anything like this happen at Fratton Park. The current owners have sorted all the issues out since they came in and are now improving facilities, and that was on a League 1 budget so there's no reason the Glazers couldn't at least have fixed the roof at Old Trafford, and with it getting to this state there needs to be forced closures of portions of the stadium because if that waterfall happens when it is full up then the fans in those seats could get seriously hurt. Hopefully Sir Jim will get something sorted soon though.
@@llpalm08 It WAS full. It was just sheer luck that it was the end of the match when the really heavy rain came down and the stadium had started to empty.
It's okay- They got shares in that.
@@-A-lm5xb That's what I meant, if the fans in those seats were still there when the waterfall started getting strong there could have been injuries, they are just lucky that the area with the worst of it had been mostly cleared just before it started.
That's not rain, that's just the tears of Man Utd fans 😭😭😭
Ahhahahahahahhahah
😅🤣😂 Brilliant.

When Ronaldo pointed the lack of facilities, quality of infrastructure and overall state of the club everyone blamed him. Everything he said was spot on . He was the only one who had what it takes to say what needs to be said.
Yes but you can’t say that as an employee
@@Ohanftblkeep being trash then
No one blamed him.. everyone thanked him to speak his mind..
@@itsmeprasad1987lol, No they didn't
@@itsmeprasad1987 That's not how I remember it.
I am from abroad and when we travelled to Manchester for a CL tie few years ago, me and my friends were shocked at the state of Old Trafford stadium. It was horrible and visibly left to rot. We couldn't believe it as you cannot see it on TV.
Glazers milked that club to the bottom..
Only thing leakier than that is Man Utd's defense
And villa's defense as a Villa fan
Apparently it never rains where the Glazers live.
well they live in florida and we are having a bit of a drought lol
@@Druid2001 but you guys have to be prepared for hurricanes.
Can’t imagine the bucks stadium collapsing once in a while 😂
@@balanceinmidfield1843 well tbf hurricanes are stronger than wind so the stadium is built to withstand it
We have been watching the decay of a club that in the 90s and 00s was the envy of the world. How the mighty have fallen.
Not just fallen. Deliberately run into the ground by American vultures with no interest in anything other than taking. Prior to Glazer ownership, Manchester United had no debts and was a licence to print money. This type of takeover is not even allowed anymore.
That's why Manchester United fans have been complaining against Glazers family. Ronaldo was right on his interview against Piers Morgan. He told him that Manchester United stadium stills the same as it was before
CR7 called it out and y’all thought he was toxic
not just us as fans but even our own Stadium is crying now.....
True
This is ridiculous. Owned by 2 billionaire families and can't get a roof fixed.
If the infrastructure of a stadium that is regularly visited is like this. What about everything else that we can't see?
"Falling apart" is the phrase I've heard most often from United fans.
Not the glazers fault
@@obliviousij5265it’s not?
@@brittneyking4284 yeah we cant blame the owners or players sack the manager, Divi Dens In!
Why should the British taxpayer fund a new stadium for a club owned by the richest man in Britain? He did this with Ineos when he bought the ICI works in Runcorn, threatened to close the site unless he got government funding to build a new plant, which he profited from directly.
Public funds would fund the surrounding public areas. City were given the old 2008 commonwealth games as it was in best public interest 👍🏻
Remember, socialism is bad, unless it's for the billionaires.
@@yofinance1777Not true and this theory (advanced exclusively by property developers and their sycophants) has been disproven by study after study. Stop giving tax money or tax breaks to billionaires. They never, ever have public interest at heart.
Sidebar: you are aware he only owns 25% of the club, right?
ronaldo warned fans about this
Not true. United fans were saying this BEFORE he came back... we've wanted Glazers out for a LONG time. People forget that...
They laughed at Ronaldo's warnings. Now they get what they deserve!

ronaldo glazer
Why does it slways rain on me...
Oh its because im a man utd fan lol
Stingy cheap owners! Such scrooges!
This is a health hazard. No different than any other workplace. The stadium should be shut down.
They should call cristiano and apologize. He speak the truth about the condition of this club's facilities.
They crucified my Goat Ronaldo for speaking the truth😢😢
Everything that Ronaldo said at the piers Morgan interview was becoming more evident day by day
The club, the football and the infrastructure of mufc is a shambles. How can not just united but the governing bodies allow the stadium to be in such a hazardous state? Any other club would be forced to cease trading until a health and safety risk such as this was rectified.
People are being too harsh on the Glazers. They can’t afford repairs to Old Trafford! First, they have to take dividends out of the club and second that is Ratcliffe’s problem 🤷
"can't afford" part made me laugh hard
Whats crazy is that they keep putting ticket prices up 😂😂😂😂
Can't afford, they're making a brand new stadium more seats than Wembley, yet they can't just fix a leaky roof. Make it make sense.
Flooding from the roof is quite bad but understandable if there's a sudden monsoon but in the dressing rooms is crazy. Needs big investment.
I dont think the glazers understand that word
@@RoughWalkers probably not mate probably not
The roof isn't understandable either, especially when it's streaming in from all over the stadium.
@@Support-your-local-team was it? Only seen from one stand.
@@FormulaProg You can see both ends of the stadium flooding in the first 15 seconds of this video and I've seen clips of one of the stands in-between it leaking too. That's at the very least three of the four stands flooding.
Beautiful... Name another stadium that can boast a waterfall within a stadium. Truly a 'theatre of dreams'
What's that guy on about, 'if this game had kicked off at the normal time on a Sunday?' 16:30 is a normal time for a Sunday kickoff.
or 13:30
@@mightymouse5029 Yes, but the main Super Sunday game is 16:30.
The fact that Everton's stadium can still be weather resistant really shows how bad the owners are.
Theatre of wet dreams 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂
Great answer.
Been a while since I've had one of those happy dreams
Alex Ferguson's final years of success at Manchester United helped the glazers to hide their damage to the club.
This all stems from ferguson's dispute with JP McManus and John Magnier over a racehorse.
Outsiders criticize United fans when they want the owner out, this is just one of the reasons why. No one knows better than the fans
Imagine telling someone at the turn of the century that this is what would become of Man United. They'd never have believed you!
Stadium replicates the club ....once best in class now, run down in need of upgrade.
This is actually dangerous now how is this legal?
They called Ronaldo a madman when he said nothing has changed since 2009!
Those are tears from Sir Bobby Charlton and George Best from heaven
Health and safely hazard with water also going through office ceilings. How can a multi billion pound club not maintain it's roof and guttering system? Ridiculous.
I guess Ronaldo was right all this time
And yet... The Glazers will not put a penny into fixing it. This could have been very dangerous situation and obvious that this will lead to further damages and mold in the entire part of the stand.
This is what the glazers have done. Taken all of the money from Manchester United and not even invested anything in the club and stadium
And the Media will still blame Ten Hag..loll... the Glazers are the reason for all this even the performances. if they had hired proper football directors we wouldnt have all those injuries and poor recruitment let alone the stadium which has fallen apart
Most of these players are Ten Hags.
Most?! 4 of his players in the starting lineup yesterday. Not even half haha
35 injury second highest this season. Whose to blame, idk honestly.
@@markalanrudings3657 He spent 400.000.000 pounds mate.
What if the injuries repeat next season with the same training regime and medical staff? Because most our injuries are non contact or muscle injuries
And yet people say ronaldo was the problem. He mentioned everything right in piers morgans interview
As a Manchester United fan this is embarrassing 😔
I am surprised they don’t charge the fans extra for that
but they paid 100mil for Anthony 🤣🤣🤣
Im pretty sure its not even fully paid yet.
Can't wait for ETH to tell us Old Trafford is the most modern and best equipped stadium in the league next week.
Why a new stadium? Fix this like Real Madrid did. Too many memories in Old Trafford only to replace it when we have players and staff that shouldn't be here. Invest the money wisely
as a man utd fan this is a disgrace
Man u fans shld just not attend the games and make their voices
heard
Ticket sales is a small part of the revenue so the glazers may react
When I say don't attend I mean it
Ignore next season premier league
To be fair it did rain really hard
So since Ratcliffe has come in he has not sorted the roof?????
Not a simple job.
No point when they are building a new stadium
@@fi7959 It has been like this for years hasn't it? I'm sure a multi billion dollar club could sort a leaky roof out?
He has only just come along
@@tfootball8704 ~ What are you talking about….we’ve had owners who are not interested in fixing anything…..that’s the point.
If they build a new stadium, they could call it New Trafford
Could not make me more happy.
There has been some massive rainstorms these couple of months..
It is not the only place in UK, let alone in Europe, that is showing signs of not being build for that amount of water.
So many floods and destroyed roads..
Some that only seems to be holding on, until the next big rain
I’m from Porto Alegre RS, Brazil. For a moment, I felt like home
it’s not leaking its just a water feature that got added 20yrs ago priority for new owner was new batteries for it
Sort it out its embarrassing.
I want to see the old trafford waterfall looks beautiful !
The fans bought the football tickets, found out they accidentally went to the waterpark. Unfortunately they were no water slides
Would you risk turning on any light switch in that dump
These cracks can be repaired but what about team?
Is there a team?
Perfect representation of the club.
Long may it continue
Welcome to old Trafford where United have a new waterfall feature installed.
No need to go and watch the water fall anywhere around the world when we have it at old Trafford.
Even some of stadiums in my home country is better than this.
No wonder Old Trafford is falling down. The stadium is ebsolutly dreadful and honestly even league one side Derby have a better stadium than Man Utd. The Glazers clearly don't care about the health hazards within the club. I mean leaks all over Old traffor on the seating area and inside the buildings is absolutly apauling. In regards to the Fa cup, they don't deserve to even be in the final let alone win it. I don't see this being a demolishing but I do see this being a comfortable 2-0 win for City unless they hit their absolute best on the day
What do they mean by”if it had kicked off at the normal time for a Sunday”? It did kick off at the normal time????
Old Trafford is definitely OLD now. They should repair it and call it NEW Trafford
Old trafford living up to its name
That’s a danger to fans. Should be shut down
No love for united but a glaring example of how fans are merely treated as revenue
Man Utd: let guess... Your home?
Ronaldo: It was. and it was beautiful... Man Utd was like any other big clubs, too many goods not enough to go around. And when i came back i offered a solution.
Man Utd: Renovation.
Ronaldo: But stricter, just passionate fair young and old players alike. *They called me a madman.* And what i predicted came to pass.
Man Utd: Congratulations you are a problem
Ronaldo: I'm a professional
Everything literally falling apart there. There needs to be a drastic change on every department.
Tallest waterfall in England I've heard. Makes you proud
Just about sums up most things in the uk…not to be dramatic but big money has got to start stepping up and helping the infrastructure and experience of the population..decline,decline,decline whilst the rich dine on fine wine…my opinion anyway.
Ronaldo was right afterall
Utterly embarrassing for a club of its size to have its literal infrastructure be that neglected by its owners. Symbolic really in comparison to the team.
Old trafford iconic Jewel singapore waterfall..
This is shocking for a rich Fc. How could they have let this go on for so long without repairing things much earlier? Absolute embarrassment of a football club, complete joke and disgrace to PL.
This ain't new this has been like that for years
People come from all over the world to see this attraction
Theatre of “come and take a shower with our tears”
I thought they were talking about the team
It’s tragic to see how quickly the glazers have decimated our once great club! 😔
I can't believe this is my boyhood club. What has happened to Manchester United and Old Trafford 😢
New stadium was on cards anyway 🤔🤔
Even the stadium has given up on Manchester United
How Manchester United have gotten away with this, is absolutely beyond me? How many health and safety regulations are the club in breach of?
Cost for repairing gone for anthony 😂
How is a stadium in this condition allowed to host premier league football
Reason???
CR7 was right.
One of the countrys biggest clubs made millions over the years yet can't do repairs to the stadium makes u wonder where all the money is going mostly to the over paid football players
That was a once a year downpour. Stop having a go at the Glazers. That will be well over a thousand to patch the roof. Money doesn't grow on trees!
This is why it’s not being used for euro 28
Ten Hag said everybody knows we haven't had a fit Plumber all season.
Bit of rain never hurt anyone.
Arteta punished the stadium and ten hag punishd their dressing room 🤣💀
Hasn't this been going on for years? Why are the images only going viral now? I suspect Mr Ratcliffe has something to do with it. Certainly helps promote his position that the stadium is not worth saving.
I was always for refurbishment but after seeing this. Full rebuild....like the team and personnel....start from scratch
They don't call it the Swamp for nothing.
