Jason is the single most important influence in how I see the world. Nature and art and everything about it. His music was there for me to comfort, enkindle and sometimes provoke me. Even though I was born a whole ocean away from where he was from, his words and music resonantes with me as if I knew him. I'm incredible sorry for everyone who did actually knew him and for your loss. It still hurts to think about his way too early passing and I will cherish his music forever. Thank you kindly.
and a Rock Star, he was. Miss you greatly Jason. Best band that few have heard of. So nice to hear tales from his Dad. Mr. Molina, your son DID touch us all.
This is really moving to see. What an artist Jason was and still is. I had the chance to see him within Magnolia in Paris during the Josephine tour, but never got the chance to see him in solo. He has fans all over the world, it's great to see him being recognized locally. His father can be proud !
Found him in when searching "greatest alt-country albums" and was surprised when I found out he came from nearby Lorain. Fantastic artist. Wonderful tributes, thank you.
Thank you so much for sharing this, as a longtime fan who recently reconnected with Jason's music, this was touching and heartwarming to see. The impact of his short time here is profound, and I hope it continues to grow as time goes on.
Jason Molina is the most underappreciated artist of my lifetime. Sometimes I step out into the grey Great Lakes night and still hear him.

Gone, but not forever. RIP Jason. Will always listen to your songs.
I've been to Lorain Ohio. It's as sad and full of potential as his music.
