You probably know by now, but the third guyline goes in the back to pull it out and make more room in the back. You did actually have the correct amount of stakes, it's just that you set the front up incorrectly and used up that stake in the wrong place. The front is supposed to be setup all on the one farther out stake. That's why you will notice that there are two line lock adjusters on that front line. There's supposed to be a rams head shaped hook that goes on that line that you hook the doors to. You used your last stake for the back to hold your doors open instead of the rams head hook. If yours didn't come with the rams head they sell upgraded aluminum ones on Z-packs website. Which is a common thing we do to upgrade this tent anyways. It's been a year since this video so you probably know most of that already, but if not I hope it helps. They are really great tent's. I love mine!
feww of my tie outs have failed and detachd form the tent completely other then then it being fragile its a solid tent and served me well i gotta sew a few things back togethe tho
this one im not anfan of very cheaply made after 2 years of use the tie outs for the bathtub floor have ripped off. lightweight and functional but poor quality as it is a knock off lanshan
@camping_guru_uk don't get me wrong it's a great tent and I did some thru hiking with it it just started failing this year and I may have pulled the stakes by the tie outs but still shouldn't have ripped off thay easy
Hi the stakes are correct, the front guy rope (the one with two adjusters) has a black rams head horns clip (can't think how better to describe it) to attach the two door loops to. Therefore you don't need an extra stake for the front doors and you use that stake for the final guy rope . NB mine came with an instruction booklet
got a few multi day hikes this spring/summer had to downsize I think it's gonna do the trick. really wanna try running a ridgline with it as I typically don't pack trekking polls haha
Awesome and complete review on a very compact tent. Thats cool hows it connected even though a 2 piece. Can't wait to see it in action next spring👍 [first] 😆
thanks Mike. I'm beyond impressed with every thing shy of missing a stake lol not sure if I pitched it wrong or not haha learning curve with new gear. nice to pitch it and look it over before I hike off to the middle of no where.
awesome Review Bro and nice tent. Keep them coming and Love that Bokeh you got going on in your shots. That camera is working just fine now that you are getting the hang of it.
thanks Joe shy of the spelling mistake that was in the thumbnail it was great haha. loving the new camera gotta get a couple lenses yet but damn they are not cheap lol
Hey!! Great review! I’ve seen this tent a few times, it does look good. I thought the stakes looked quite short so agree with swapping them out for longer ones. That end pocket is for your hip flask by the way😉😂 I look forward to seeing some of your adventures! Take care, Karen ✨🍃
Thanks you. I totally set it up wrong I learned the hard way 🤣 not shoort a stake just pitched out the door incorrectly lol. Deffintly stakes to be longer but fair weather 3 season use these would be do the trick.
Outstanding review my friend ‼️💯 Looks like a great little tent 👍🏻 Awesome for one person for sure ‼️ Question…… Are you planning to use a ground cover ???

Great review and a nice looking tent. I imagine it would stand up to some pretty strong winds as well. Very cool.

mine did not haha I was winging it not to bad for first time pitching this style of tent.
That looks really nice size/weight for backing. 👍👍

@@JTDOutdoors yes I would go ridgeline too. I am always knocking the bloody poles over. 🤣🤣

@@JTDOutdoors absolutely great idea to get familiar with gear before heading out and relying on it. I definitely like the design.

Nice review dude! Looks pretty legit!
so can't wait to get on trail man winter is killing me. thanks for stopping by Tim
Guyline might be for a poleless setup for under a tree. That's my thoughts.
could very well be man. I'm going to play woth a few different setup options once I get a chance.
Do you have to assemble the inner to the outer ?
nope it comes together and ready to use 👍
Awesome review !!!
But i'm 6.3 feet do you think it will be good ?
Thanks 😉
i think so its surprisingly long youd have room to spare but not much
Perfect ! I'm gonna try 🤞🤞🤞 thanks 😉
