Hey Jesse! First off, awesome video showing the basic ways you use Buildertrend. However, I am noticing that almost 2 years later, all those video ideas you had on how to use Buildertrend have not happened! When I first saw this video I was stoked and wanted to know more. Your way of going through and explaining BT is less of a tutorial and more of a real world example of how to use it. Since I just started a job for a company and am trying to set them up with BT, I was hoping to find more. :( Really hoping that you're still planning on making those vids!!

Hey Jesse - Quick question about BT that I cannot seem to track down. The BT site shows a pricing structure for the first three months only. Do they change their pricing structure after three months? You noted that ProCore charges by the project's cost. I'm hoping BT does not do that as well.

So you do all your jobcost in QBO which imports over from Buildertrend? Trying to figure out how buildertrend works with the accounting.
How did you attach the subcontract lien waiver to the pay feature? Do you have a template of one of those?
I have been using buildertrend and I hate how the standard subscription only allows to manage one project at a time... or am i wrong?

Question: So after you use excel to build your cost and price them if your awarded the job, do you input all those line items again such subs and vendors into builder trend? If so your basically doing data input twice once for estimating then a second time for project management is that correct?
No, you can convert the lead proposal to a job and copy the line items over

are the subs still get paid through the app even though they are not subscribed to BT?
What do you use for your plans? This seems like a big down fall for this software.
Hi Jesse, do you send RFP to all your subs through buildertrend? I have been just sending 1000 separate emails and I feel seems unprofessional. I also still run a millwork install company and I sometimes get RFP from GC’s through buildertrend.

You need to update your videos))) buildertrend is merging with coconstruct already..)) we should all expect the best from both companies very soon. If you are a legacy user expect a small increase in price BUT a huge increase in features.

You made a good point, builders do very little actual work. What would be the point, as a sub contractor to agreeing to this nonsense?
Syn One my suns love it. As mentioned they get immediate schedule updates, makes change orders easy also you have access to plans and specs in the same phone application.

I worked for some creep fake construction guy in Newport, Rhode Island, who was probably a CIA agent, and then he gave my number to stupid Buildertrend, they've been calling me ever since! Makes me wonder about that company.
