Batman killed joker because joker realized he was going to die soon due to the chemicals in him or whatever and thus decided to throw the worlds greatest joke. He murdered gordon and oracle as well as a bunch of others and killed the ppl of gotham and yes, even children. He used his gas to make some kids go insane and dressed them in robins outfit. Eventually he kidnapped bruce and forced him to watch as he murdered some poor kids parents in crime alley (pretty sure thats the place that Bruce waynes parents died.) Bruce got pissed and broke jokers neck, releasing toxins from jokers heart which then infected Bruce and caused him to basically become joker. With the joker mindset batman rounded up the batfamily and murdered them all wItH gUnS. He then murdered the entirety of the justice league including superman after giving superman kryptonite to make him angry. Superman then murdered his family after getting said kryptonite and then was killed Thats all I remember. Thx for reading and feel free to correct anything that was wrong

I highly recommend reading his issues and Death Metal to catch more about him and all the other jokerized people cuz “IM THE JOKER BABY”

Basically the batman who laughs is a batman from an alternate universe in which the joker had a contingency plan if he were to die so that if someone were to kill the joker his body would release a joker toxin gas that would immediately infect the killer and one day joker pushes batman over the edge and batman snaps and kills the joker causing him to be infected by the joker toxin gas and over the course of a few days turns into a hybrid of the world's smartest detective intellect of the batman and the pure insanity and evilness of the joker.He ends up meeting an evil god named barbatos looking to recruit some evil disciples to do his bidding and through barbatos the batman who laughs learns that his universe is part of a dark multiverse in which all negative outcomes occur so with the help of barbatos he forms a team of evil batpeople and attempt to conquer the light multiverse.
Definitely one of my fav dps songs.. Also one of my fav divide hooks. And that story of the batman who laughs is definitely something I would recommend to read if interested and if u find a possibility to read it "I am the Joker Baybe"
