I’m not saying 100% for sure the system wouldn’t have killed him, but I’m saying the system just pointed out the stakes of his decision are life and death. Don’t make a weak decision and show mercy to an enemy that’s just waiting for a chance to kill you when you lower your guard. You can’t trust them or anything they say. But you can trust that the system is telling you one way or another, you’re dead if you let them go.
Even if he just knocked them out or incapacitated them they know who he is and can get to him on the outside, realistically killing them was the only way he would be safe
I agree, the whole thing about the system telling Jinwoo to kill is highly, extremely fked up. Apart from everything else, I really liked the VA for Dongsuk.
I don't think there are any actual computers involved. The 'system' is just a magical effect that simulates a computer gaming interface to make things easier for the player. So far there's been no technology inside the gates, only magic.
Each level is an magnitude stronger than the previous. So D is 10 times stronger than E, C is 10 times stronger than D, so a C level monster is 100 times stronger than an E level.
Why is everyone so concerned about him killing? Man they tried to kill him multiple times so the system is literally just saying defend yourself pretty much because the penalty means if he doesn’t fight back they will kill him anyway
Your Typical hero doesn't kills that's why. Why do people don't understand that no killing rule is just dumb. Even Batman can't pull it off since the villains start killing again.
It's the harsh reality and reality check and the escalation theory right.? You meet with equal or greater force. They were past the talking down stage you unalive them no ifs buts ors about it
not the penalty means literally the system would kill him. it's being very literal that if he fails the system itself will make sure he doesn't survive
I was afraid this would get the CG for [redacted] wrong. Now I have faith they will do them justice. Also 15:57, how close you are to [redacted] with that statement.
I'm guessing his brother knows he plays dirty with his crew in those dungeons, so he not coming back means he was killed by one of the two people who filled the quota, so now he probably gonna try to find them
I’ll say this because that’s the way I see the penalties and most reactors I watch don’t seem to think about them this way but; it always says « appropriate penalty » so, the first was a penalty for not doing daily trainings, making him basically have to run for hours on end (making up for the quest he ignored) and now it was saying that if he didn’t kill them he’d die ; wich is technically logic; if they win he dies SO!!; the way I see it, the quest is what influences the penalty, not the lvl or stats etc. I haven’t read the manhwa either, I’m just guessing based on what the show gave us so far:)
There's not really much to react to in that scene to be fair. well I suppose it does kind of show an example of how much a difference of one rank makes.

While Jinwoo was being a badass and I was rooting for him but I also felt bad for him because he had to kill and be a slave to the system at this point. I mean it's clear that Jinwoo rewrote the details when he was going berserk. Like is he going to lose his humanity in the long run when the system keeps demanding those very dark quests? The music during the killing spree was not giving off hype but more like sadness. Finally we get some fanservice for the guys 😂
Well the system is still a mystery at this point and time. The system reacted to their murderous intent if you will. The players life was in danger so the system created a quest as an incentive other than hey you get to live here's full recovery stat points and a new skill. @@theeLonelyRedPanda Still, it can't be good for his mental health. There's a huge difference between killing monsters and humans even when they are the worst. I was hoping that Jinwoo would capture and report the C-Rank team to the proper authorities. Now they're dead and I'm looking forward to the next episode.
While capturing and outing them would be ideal. There's no guarentee it would've led to a trial anyway or some other form of punishment who knows. Also can a prison even hold super powered people? What are the laws regarding hunters etc. Is it unspoken, or written official. Plus the liability portion. With them being unalived that guarentees they can no longer harm other hunters in the future.
@theeLonelyRedPanda I'm sure they have laws to deal with criminal hunters otherwise hunters would just take advantage of everyone without consequences despite the lack of evidence when dungeons collapse. In both instances the system said “your heart will stop” it was literally saying to him “If you don’t choose this path, you’re going to die anyways”
The system is just showing him the actual consequences of the decisions he’s going to make. Without a doubt, had he let them live they’d have come after him again. They wanted to kill him. The guy was on his knees and went from begging and bargaining to screaming a threat about his powerful S Rank Brother. Had he let them live, they’d have killed him.
Pretty sure it was paralizing and bleed debuffs not drain
In the web novel it was but they translated it to drain for the webtoon and anime for whatever reason.
24 is still a baby, got me feelin young thank you 😋
In what world is 24 not young 😂
@@ItsTJ7 in the world of anyone who is younger than 24.
"Where is that draft coming from" ☠️
Out of all the cool jin woo scenes in this episode and you chose that bastard thief as the thumbnail 😂
NGL Sam looking like a baddie on Valentines day 👀
a SIGN of affection
Thx for the reaction
this has been soooo good
the system is trying to shape sung into a new person and killing is just the first step
14:54 What if it's Tanjiro's dad?
Jin woo literally turning into a monster himself
Even if he just knocked them out or incapacitated them they know who he is and can get to him on the outside, realistically killing them was the only way he would be safe
Exactly. Dongsuk isn't the type to just give up his foolery, but he is the type to do anything he can to get to the only two living witnesses.
The OST 🔥🔥
I love your analysis! Facts
Day one of asking for eminence in shadow pole
Damn, almost whole week of delay compared to release date.
Sounds like a great way to get spoiled 😅
They are watching and recording as it is released
How old did u say Morgan and dani are...?
It's s Do or Die, kill or be killed
I agree, the whole thing about the system telling Jinwoo to kill is highly, extremely fked up.
Apart from everything else, I really liked the VA for Dongsuk.
how long I've waited for this!!!
I don't think there are any actual computers involved. The 'system' is just a magical effect that simulates a computer gaming interface to make things easier for the player. So far there's been no technology inside the gates, only magic.
I want spoilers but let the anime progress with full curiosity 😂
I love how every react channel asks where the draft is coming from.
Lol, request permission to thirst.
Reaction ninja kamui please
jin woo and eren yeager would be friends
Each level is an magnitude stronger than the previous. So D is 10 times stronger than E, C is 10 times stronger than D, so a C level monster is 100 times stronger than an E level.
Wait just how old are the lot of you ?
Why is everyone so concerned about him killing? Man they tried to kill him multiple times so the system is literally just saying defend yourself pretty much because the penalty means if he doesn’t fight back they will kill him anyway
Exactly! And the quest literally popped up after they stated that they would kill him first... some people just don't deserve the 'talk no jutsu"
@@sylva3591 Well, the alternative is dying anyway...
I was afraid this would get the CG for [redacted] wrong. Now I have faith they will do them justice. Also 15:57, how close you are to [redacted] with that statement.
Jinwoo has my favourite VA since Eren Yeager
You have a pattern
@@Gheniel_ I see it 💀
Music is just A-1 frfr 😂😂
Thanks be to Hiroyuki Sawano
See what you did there lmao
@@K00300 😂 That A-1 steak sauce is bussin right nah
11:13 I had exact reaction - that was kinda hot ngl :>
I kept thinking, how is the anime director going to make the show standout from the manwha. Awesome music was the answer.
I'm guessing his brother knows he plays dirty with his crew in those dungeons, so he not coming back means he was killed by one of the two people who filled the quota, so now he probably gonna try to find them
Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. This was a terrible ep. So sad. But we learn a little more too. Borahae. -NY USA 2019 Army
"I will not thirst..." I think you need to see your reaction to the previous episodes, it might be already too late for that.
I’ll say this because that’s the way I see the penalties and most reactors I watch don’t seem to think about them this way but; it always says « appropriate penalty » so, the first was a penalty for not doing daily trainings, making him basically have to run for hours on end (making up for the quest he ignored) and now it was saying that if he didn’t kill them he’d die ; wich is technically logic; if they win he dies
SO!!; the way I see it, the quest is what influences the penalty, not the lvl or stats etc.
I haven’t read the manhwa either, I’m just guessing based on what the show gave us so far:)
Yes the system basically pulled a yoda. Do or do not, there is no try. Either you kill them or you die whether they do it or the system does it.
Wow Danni was looking so cute in this video. Gorgeous. Anyway 😅such a great reaction ladies. I always look forward to your posts.
Episode was so good
watch the new anime ninja kamui it's peak
okay so dani and morgan are allowed to thirst but why do sams face give more thirsty vibes kidding...
Sheesh everyone's skipping the cha hae in scene
@_Manhwa_edits_ true indeed
There's not really much to react to in that scene to be fair.
well I suppose it does kind of show an example of how much a difference of one rank makes.
@@temporal_paradox there is tho, new characters are being introduced and cha is a really important character
@@sakshamv26 New characters that don't really do or say much of importance _in this scene._ There's a limited amount you can reasonably show with fair use and this scene is pretty low priority, it's just some simple character introductions.
@@temporal_paradox still there's no reason to skip anything when it's a reaction video?
Doesn't differentiate between monsters and people when it comes to killing the system
@@theeLonelyRedPanda Still, it can't be good for his mental health. There's a huge difference between killing monsters and humans even when they are the worst. In my eyes he could have made sure they never would be hunters again like making them invalid. But I get it it was epic and in the heat of the battle. He's not experienced enough yet to decide that.
@@equinoxXIII i fully believe when he was in the pile of rubble he was having that internal debate and the system took it upon itself to give him the ultimatum by switching it to your heart will stop if he doesn't complete the request. Didn't wanna give an opportunity to debate or think of a way around it.
@@theeLonelyRedPanda Yeah, like he said kill or be killed in this job.
Morgan>>>
All in all, Jinwoo didn't even have a choice despite how much stronger he was but they're better off dead for sure.
@@MrSmee-vt7cy it would literally be the word of a group of veteran C-ranks versus the word of the known and proven weakest and a completely new guy it'd get thrown out and they'd get laughed out of any court
@@sylva3591 You are looking at this from a completely irrelevant point. Their strength difference doesn't matter. Obviously, since they survived against the strike team, they would be forced to be reevaluated with Jin-woo probably be ranked B now. What matters more is that the strike team's past "accidents" would be scrutinised and in case you forgot - that completely new guy has a rather important dad who would vouch for his integrity.
Cut that out...24 is old enough, stop it
I dont get why so many people get hung up on the fact that he has to kill these guys. They're basically a group of serial killers, they deserved every bit of it imo.
It's pretty weird but I think many people just aren't used to a dark MC
Video games reward you for completing the quest(his happened to be killing)
Jinwoo’s VA is brilliant! Afraid for Jinwoo though, seems like he’s turning evil
It’s not that he is turning evil, the system wants him alive so if it feels the persons intent is to kill our boy drip woo it will trigger an urgent quest. It has realism factor to it. It also makes it ironic the skill he earned is also called murderous intent
@@alvinhebbert i mean the system is threatening his life if he doesn't do what it wants. kind of anxious to see how bad it gets lol
Am I the only one that got eren vibes when he accepted he had to kill them?
First
I manhwa quality was 100 times better than animated version 😂😂
It does have great art, but you're just trolling if you don't think they're doing a great job with the adaptation so far.
