Here in Florida you pay your mandatory insurance because your loan requires it but the fact is they won't pay out if your home is lost in a major event.

The panhandle is the least populated part of florida. Actually it doesn't even resemble florida it more resembles alabama. Between the florida panhandle and Miami it might as well be a different country with how different both places are.

It is far too late and Florida is just beginning to feel the consequences of their ignoring climate change that should be issue #1 in a swamp state at sea level on the coast... you can't make this stuff up. Literally, that should be the LAST state to ever vote Republican considering their positions on the environment and climate.
So what's the solution?
When I moved to the tropics we only had tropical storms because the Atlantic Ocean was cooler. I knew the East Coast and the Gulf would need to be annihilated before deniers would believe there's really a change in the weather.
