@brambleberry can we please purchase uberscent??!!! I think there would be enough of us soap makers interested and challenged to have a blast creating with this FO!!!!
In case you haven't seen royalty soaps, Katie carson actually calls herself the duchess of suds, which is likely why she is referred to that in the video
Such a fun video! I really expected the fragrance to be a pain for you to work with but it really came through for you. Thank you for including me. Michael's description is the best. 😂
I also likened it to awkward body spray, vapor rub, and pure weirdness. I've clearly developed a great nose palette in my 4 months at Bramble Berry! - Michael
The time, energy, and coordination it took to make this video wasn't easy. Kudos to you all for such an interesting and different kind of video. What a great way to bring everyone "together" without actually being together. Bravo
If migraine had a video, lol. Girl you are stronger than I am smelling all of those. I am saying this because I am suffering with one today :(. Love this video.
Amen. As someone who is sensitive to certain scents this made my head hurt just watching. There is literally not enough pain reliver/allergy medication in the world for me to do that. Same as when Sophia did all the candles.
I love the little text comments popping into the video, makes it extra fun. Awesome job editor(s)! I found BB (and started my soap journey) because of Katie and Royalty Soaps, so it was awesome to see her on here. She always makes me smile. :D
I have to wonder if anyone has even taken into account that many people suffer from allergic reactions to certain items, but not to others. To blindly give away such a thing seems quite an irresponsible decision. People should be allowed to choose their scent, and not be subjected to a "_charity" soap, with over 200 different things in it!! Not to mention the fact, that no one took into account that the very nature of such a globule concoction very well might be responsible for causing a NEW adverse reaction, in someone, without being able to find the source!! Seriously upset, by this.
I don't even wanna know what would happen if Nurture did this and mixed some of the Brambleberry Master Batch... Yeah, I'm lying. I kindo do wanna see that.
That’s super cool, that it actually smelled good. When I worked in the casino we had what we called the syrup room. It’s where all the alcohol is getting poured to go to the bars. It smells amazing. Very few people ever get to go in that room.
So I took this idea and did something. I tried seven Brambleberry fragrances, six of them new to me and I had one ounce left from each and mixed them into one bottle and made cold process soap. I have to admit, I like the mixture so thanks for the idea. I mixed frosted fir, bramble berry, moon child, lush succulent, made to measure, birchwood oud, and peach prosecco.
I like how they're sorted by categories at the beginning. I'm DEFINITELY in the fruity category with most of my soapmaking. So when I saw alllll those bottles, I was like "hmmm.... I have some more browsing to do...." LOL
I love this and I really enjoy watching saf to!! Ive been planing on doing a mix of the all smells that I have plus doing a most liked smells mixed to see what soap will be made really excited to try it now.
I have to try Amanda’s favorites. I have the wild rose and it’s amazing and so strong. A good one to add a tiny bit to if you want a rose blend. Bottle that mixture up. I’ll buy some. Never mind I don’t want middle school boy drenched in orange juice. 😂
I like this video. I would have also like to see a soap from each of the scent categories. Also, Amber was it overwhelming pouring all of the different fragrances?
My nose definitely got a little tired towards the end. But I'm used to working in a rather fragrant environment, so I like to think my nose is quite "strong," haha.

Hello friends, I purchased the 35lb bucket of palm oil from bramble berry for my soaps, but soon realized I'm having a hard time knowing what to do to use it. I've been heating the entire thing up every time I make a batch because I was told palm oil separates as it cools, but I know that heating it up hurts it's shelf life. Open to any and all suggestions!! 💕☺️
Reheating your oils will not degrade the oil or cause the shelf life to change. You can always melt the full bucket and separate it into smaller containers for ease of use!
I'm still watching the video. I love this idea because it's always fun on Safiya's channel to watch these, even for things like lipsticks that I don't use or care about. I'm glad it's not going to waste and that it'll be used for charity soaps. But I am a bit disappointed. I would really have liked to see the individual collected categories also get tests. So like a Franken-Fresh, a Franken-Floral, a Franken-Fruity, etc. Plus the overall Franken-Bramble. Saf has done that at least once and it was almost more fun to see the individual Frankens than the collected Franken. If you ever do this with other things such as colorants, or repeat this in a few years, please keep this in mind.
Thanks for the suggestion! We were a little worried it would make this video too long, but we can definitely keep that in mind for future videos. Thanks for watching!

The idea is fun and creative and could've resulted in something epic - and as makers we thrive on experimentation, failing and succeeding along the way. At the same time, fragrances are one of those ingredients that take the cost of my soap (before colors, fragrance and my time are added) and significantly increase it. I'm not quite big enough yet to afford crazy experiments like this - my craziest fragrance experiment was blending Bourbon wood and citrus for one soap and bamboo with a pink lilac and willow for another, and I think that's pretty tame for most people lol But it's awesome that they are making soap for donations ❤️ that makes it less cringe inducing for my penny pinching side.

You work hard on your products! Why don't you have people do a little research on how to make labels for your products. People get mad at me when I bring it up. I'm tired of putting clear tape on your labels especially the fragrance oils. If I buy a product that I can use more than once I need to see what it is. I think that shouldn't be too hard. It makes no sense that the NAME of the product smears and erases right off. I had a bottle of Cherry Almond fragrance rub off in a concealed plastic box. Since I know that strong scent I knew what is was.
