Nettles Island

Built on sand dredged from the bottom of the Indian River, Nettles Island is “the last man-made island made in the United States,” said Realtor and resident Brinda Lee.
Of course, it’s no longer legal to dig up bottom dirt and make land out of swamp. But in 1960s Florida, that’s what was happening.

Yeah, I found it using Goggle maps, thought it was interesting, it sticks out because of the build density.
