- This review may seem a little raw because I couldn't tell if it was an original design or not, but now after much discussion I'm pretty sure it's original, so with that being said...
I've decided to make this set public it doesn't have all the nice glamorous shots and maybe in the near future I might release more unlisted reviews that I have hidden. Lol.

@@hazelk.7774 as I know the post office still is but...they have been paying designers off. Kind of a backwards way of doing things but I guess I’ll just patiently wait lol.
@@brickmeupscottie they have stolen many designs. their design and stone quality is also all over the place. Bluebrixx does that alot better, and they have those medieval sets that kick ass...
Hi I'm new to Mold king and xingbao. I'm in the US, in California. What links do you recommend for shopping for these sets?
I've searched on Rebrickable and Pinterset, it looks like this might be a geniuine design, but it looks a little weird, like a mix of 2-3 sets randomly glued together.
I did the same too but I thought I really found it before which is why pulled out the phone. Weird. I sure hope it’s original and yes you’re right it does kind of have a mix feel to it.
I did quick look online since it seems familar but did not find anything. Does look like the one designer style but did not see it on his website either. Speaking of the old pub I bought that PDF and two other ones from him. Additional sales for him generated by your review.
That’s great. I’m so happy when people mention about buying pdf. It might not make a diff but at least some will buy them. Btw love the brick height stack lol.
Very nice moc.
The only thing I would have done is swap the flower display on the ground with the fountain on the roof.
They look like they could be interchanged as they both use the large round piece for their base.
I can see how one may think this is a stolen idea, considering there are now so many sets with European-style modulars, that they all start looking similar.
I like this design, though.

Well if I was a minifigure visiting this place I know where I could easy gun on the second floor, hahaha, just joking. But these unlisted videos are very cool. Still it's better to do it since you don't know if they want you to public with these unless you can find the original creator of this. But love the fountain, even though it would look better on the ground than in the place it is in and along with second floor. Those are my only favorites. Happy that these unlisted videos will go on.
Maybe I should put the flowers on the second floor.

From looking at the comments, including yours as well. That's great to hear credit was given to the original designer for the MOC. But I do remember seeing this video 8 months ago as a unlisted video. It was a beautiful building. I do support the designer. Glad to know you're being cautious with certain sets Scottie.

@@brickmeupscottie your right on that, since at the time you didn't know if it was stolen or not. Thats probably why some people haven't seen it.
The fan is a copy of the one in the billard room, over the pool table, in the detectives office lego set. If not a copy then VERY similar. Nice set..I wonder if they are just using bits and pieces from other sets so as not to blatantly copy anyone. Im really curious to know how this build would look I'd the clock room was left off as the area tucked behind it is very pretty. Mmmmm🤔? Buy it to moc???? 1st world problems lol.
Oh yea good reminder. I love the detectives office. One of my downsides is forgetting when sets re do little bits n pieces from other sets.

This set is an original of mould king, this design is actually what Lego needs to start doing, lego is the best but their designs can sometimes be weird or even lacking when compared to these designs!
Lego doesn’t have a an excuse now...changing box styles and 18+ age groups they should go more complex.
The only modulars even coming close to amazing have been the bookstore, downtown diner, police station and ninjago city gardens. I hope you review these soon if you haven't already!

Wow there are so many. To be honest as a playable set and secure structure I still love the Lego modulars, the assembly square being my favorite. For these moc styled one they all have a unique way of building so it can be good or bad. I really enjoyed the corner post office which I’ll post next 🙃

I do admire the other bricks available though, as they are or can be very reasonable to purchase AND their designs and colors are beautiful and unique. I'm toying with the idea of trying a nano block size. Thanks so much!
I do love this building, the inside and the tile floors etc. Pretty cool, could even become a haunted business corner etc. perhaps.

At first I thought Tukrdat was some random text. But when googling it it seems like it is a day of the week, and it seems to be used in old articles, so the text would fit inside the antique store. So it could be a taco tuesday reference. I wonder if someone viewing this has more knowledge of this word and knows where it is/was used.
For the rest I must say the set looks interesting, and I do hope it is an original set. I'm glad that some companies work together with the Moc designers. Xingbao has some sets where they thank the Moc designers in the build instruction manual and that is how all companies should do it.
Taco sounds good right now. Hahah.
I’ve heard some designers were also not happy with Xingbao but that was a few years ago. I’m not sure how it is these days but the scary thing is the amount of modulars or even Star Wars sets that are coming out from stolen designers...it’s really sad.
Thanks for this video. Based on the exterior, he probably would have bought the set, but since space is a premium for us, seeing how the interior is not as "playable" has made me decide to focus on other sets. Thank you

It’s not it’s an old unlisted video that I’ve decided to public since it’s all good now. At least it might be new to some? Hahaha
The circular part with the clocks, make sure the helicopter rotor piece is aligned correctly to all come up and join together. If not the axles will be off angle.

I remember asking myself that too hahah let me check when I go back to the office. So far quality is excellent and others have stated it’s near identical to ... dun dun dun duuuun Lego. Bags are numbered but there are pieces that will spread across bags so you’re always thinking it’s missing lol.
I believe the designer wanted to replicate angled, narrow and kind of cramped looking European city houses from the turn of the 19th to 20th century, having a basic L-shaped house with an oriel or bay (not sure about the correct word here, we say Erker) and a pedestal for your showroom in there. At least I think that it is the basic idea to build it that way.
See, the windows if the green oriel/bay are a bit higher ; if used on the same level as the black and white floor, you can't present the things you sell for the public eye. That's what the pedestal is for. The rest of the first room is sales room while the door that leads into the red building is also leading to the office part of that shop.
That at least is my interpretation. 😉
The only thing that confuses me is.... Is that a fountain on the top?

This building has a great style but I don't know if it got stolen. That's what I want to know about this. But it has a great fountain on it even though it could be moced to be on the ground than being on the second floor. The second floor does look nice. I don't know if there is a modular building that has the fan, but there might be and I'm out thinking about it right now. Second floor is my only favorite part of this. And it's great that these bun listed videos will continue.
The fan is actually very similar to the detectives office. That’s why I was kind of hesitant when l looked at it. It did look really familiar.

My take is, the design of this kit likely not original. China biz people is well known for ripping off other people's design...
It’s funny cause the other sets I think are ripping off other designs but some like Cada have agreed with some designers of approved sets. Well at least it’s one step closer to some awareness.
