Bought Daikin AC FTKF50UV (5.8 ISEER), energy consumption on power chill mode 1600 watt, at 24 degrees 400 to 500-watt consumption and at 25 degrees 200 to 300-watt (Avg 250 watt) consumption. My room size is 140sq feet. Energy consumption checked with Polycab Hohm Lanre Smart Plug. Total Cost including installation 70k

Daikin is famous for its best built quality and high cooling with less power consumption
And LG is known for its AI and too much modes but less cooling than daikin.
But as u already mentioned that in jammu maximum temperature is 40°c only so u can buy any AC which cost less it will be enough for u.

Daikin Made in India is horrible in quality. Nothing like those Thailand made models. Plastic is flimsy. Components fail regularly. Installation was proper with vaccum maintained... I have changed indoor unit motos since it's bearings were cut & started making noise. Then vane motor started making noise. Now the compressor starts & stops after 5-8 mins...

sirji can this 1 ton daikin FTKT5UV be used in a room of 12x14 ft size - only one wall is exposed to outside - three other walls are inside the house and the roof is covered with two stories - sun rays do not come to the room at all not even the back wall - the room remains cool but when humidity is high it gets uncomfortable

There is no need to place outdoor unit at terrace. You can place it any wall side of your building which has short distance from your room ac.

Sab shi hai but year of manufacturing bhut purani hai. I got this for 41500.
Despite ISEER 5.8 1 ton itna purna manufactured 2017, 2018 is wise decision to go for it.
