It is, same plates and everything. While they weren't technically in the wrong in 13 (right turn has right of way over a left turn), the trick they pulled on the on ramp (full video here: ua-cam.com/video/5J9j5xADP0o/v-deo.htmlsi=hKLhnT2G8bMxa_C3 ) shows that they should not be on the road.

When I was watching that clip, I was curious where in Grand Rapids that was. While it's been about a year and a half since I've been up that way, Exxon stations are few and far between in rural Minnesota, and the closest Outback (as of a year and a half ago) was in Duluth. Add to it two Mexican restaurants on the same block, and last I checked other than a Taco Johns there's ONE good Mexican place in Grand Rapids.

26. Just let up a tiny bit on the exhilarator and let the vehicle merge over. Never heard of zipper merge? Might be a stretch, but there are actually other people on the road.
#13 While you were at the intersection before them, you had to wait for the burgundy car to clear the intersection to complete your left turn. As the other vehicle was turning right, they did not have to wait. That “brake check” there at the end? That was them being cautious in case a car came darting out from the parking lot. Put on your big boy pants. Also the odds are they’re never going to film a “Fast & Furious” movie in Duluth so quit revving your engine like you’re in one.
Not where I live in Minnesota. If it's 70 degrees and sunny, 5under the limit in the passing lane and brake on every curve. If it snows, 15mph tops on a 45mph road and ride the brake like your life depends on it. If it rains (or is foggy), no headlights and slow as hell.
A lot of people like to think that we’re great winter drivers in MN. We laugh at states in the South when they get a few inches of snow and everything shuts down. Honestly I think we’re no better than anywhere else. We’ve just been sold all wheel drive vehicles, and the DOT plasters the roads with salt any chance they get. Take those things away and I don’t think we’re any better on the roads. I drove from Owatonna to Albert Lea at night on 35 a week or so ago. We got 2” of snow, and there must have been a dozen wrecks. I almost spun out myself on a patch.
@@Android_Warrior I'm just reminding you never to drive through Minnesota.... You didn't say how long I had to wait to remind you so I figured 4 hours is plenty
I can’t count how many times I drive giving space between and the driver in front of me. Not the cammer, but I know the area well and I wish I could say that was a one-off occurrence. Between the recycling facility with frequent large vehicle traffic, the train tracks just before it, and the 30 mph curve just ahead you'd think drivers would pay more attention. But... here we are.
It always sounds stupid when someone says, "Typical driver in ." No, there is no exclusivity of bad drivers from one location to the the next. As all the dashcam videos show, there are plenty of bad drivers and morons from all over the place.
#31 Anger management classes required for you! Holy crap dude. The Mini Van did not cut you off that bad and you had to lay on the horn forever! He was way ahead of you on the off ramp and was not that close to you after, on the next highway. Chill out!
Most of the time these people would not be called at fault, but man there’s SO much the cam-car could’ve done. Honked earlier, braked harder, drove slower, etc. it’s crazy to me how people will actually post things that are their fault and call other people’s faults
The amount of people that don't know how roundabouts work is disturbing. They should automatically have their license suspended and have to retake the driving test, that includes driving in a roundabout. It is way too easy for anyone to get a driver's license in the US.
That was "someone else's lane." The cammer was making a turn into it, making it the cammer's lane. The person turning right on red is supposed to yield.
7:30 ANOTHER example of why there needs to be a FEDERAL law to force states to make right turn into right lanes and vice versa into law. This is plain, common sense. If you want to be in the left lane, then treat it as a lane change and signal your intent and make sure the lane is clear!!!!! This should not be classified as an accident, it's a FREAKIN CRIME!
#26: What exactly did the driver of the grey SUV do??? He was ahead of you in the right hand lane and made a safe merge, no drama, just be a nice human being and let him in, see? Easy! Did you expect him to hit the barriers???
Instead of coasting and letting you in they will floor it and make you run down the shoulder. I live there and it’s hooray for me and 🤬you when it comes to common courtesy!!🙄
The funny thing is that both the grey SUV and the cammer got forced to brake because the orange SUV didn't keep up the necessary pace to allow a safe and proper merge to happen. So we have the cammer blaming the grey SUV when there's an orange SUV blatantly blocking a safe merge, which is never a smart or safe thing to do, as forcing someone to merge from a complete stop is far more detrimental to traffic and far more likely to cause an accident.
@@bgganaa4072 Do you have a citation for the law there? Illinois is the only state I knew of that had any kind of zipper merge law and even there it is terribly weak.
@@ItsmeBish584 You should go double-check the Minnesota Driver's Manual. On page 66, it mentions zipper merging being the new way to merge when there's a lane closed, as early merging would just cause a backup in traffic.

Things I have noticed. You can't totally rely on your side mirrors. You do know that your head can turn to the side so you can see you're blind spot. Also, on a one-way two lane road, why do people seem to think it is ok to make a left-hand turn from the far right lane?😊😊😊😊😊😊
I really hate when the snow videos start showing up again. It's been a while, but I know what it's like to lose traction on roads in the snow, so these bring back bad memories. I haven't hit other cars, but I took out a mailbox. The property owner was in his car parked in his driveway when I came to rest against his mailbox, and I went under a guy wire for a power pole. He was very nice, it might have had something to do with me being pregnant. He said he has been going to put a new post up of steel so this will just make him do it sooner. I asked about property damage, and he said not to worry about it. Next time I went by, he had his steel post and mailbox up. Years later I drove a work van in the snow working for the phone company. I broad sided a pickup truck that couldn't stop coming from a side road. He told the cop that if I hadn't been there, he could have stopped. I still don't know what that means. He was at least 2 car lengths out into the main road past his stop sign when I hit him. No one was hurt, we both were just crawling along. I was driving a one-ton Dodge Van, I don't think I had any damage, or at least not much as I was still able to use it to work that day. I'm retired now so I don't need to drive in it if I don't want to.

I was T-boned by a nurse at 19th and Colby in Everett, WA. She was adjusting her radio and didn't see the light change. My Tacoma blocked her from hitting a pedestrian in the crosswalk. She was only two blocks from Providence Hospital, where she worked. The EMTs took me to the ER foe evaluation. Her co-workers were giving her a hard time, "Gee, Nanette, we don't need you to drum up business for us!"
Number 13, you're the problem 😂
8:15 #26. What exactly is the problem here? It’s a two lane road becoming one lane due to construction. The grey suv has positioned themselves for the zipper merge. I don’t see where they cut off the cammer. I do see the cammer trying to prevent the grey suv from merging.
the cammer is the average woman driver
No problem whatsoever. Minnesotans refuse to acknowledge the existence of the zipper merge. Even the "brake check" was a figment of her imagination.
Yep that's what i saw to .He was well in front of the camera car even used his turn signal, what else do you want lunch and a kiss in the cheek.
She got herself on camera being a dumas!

Finally a mn video!!
#13 / #16 look it's the same Jeep
It is, same plates and everything. While they weren't technically in the wrong in 13 (right turn has right of way over a left turn), the trick they pulled on the on ramp (full video here: ua-cam.com/video/5J9j5xADP0o/v-deo.htmlsi=hKLhnT2G8bMxa_C3 ) shows that they should not be on the road.
@@durwoodrobison7800 Right turn has the right of way over a left turn only in the case that they arrive at the stop sign at the same time. Wouldn't make sense if the left turn got to the stop sign first and they have to yield to every person turning right even when they have a stop sign, you'd never be able to turn left lol
@@wackyklinger602 I didn't look close enough to see who got there first. I have my own gripes with that jeep (they tried to merge directly into me in #16), but I do feel the aggressive revving and honking of the cammer in 13 was unnecessary. Doesn't make him "wrong" though.
For anyone else interested, that's at 3:45 and 5:00.
#13 revs the engine like a punk, they may deserve what they get.
12. Dudes playing my favorite song. You know the one... "Buh... buh buhbuhbuh buhhhhhhhh buhhh zzzzrrrrr buhhh bu zzzzzzrrrruuuhhh buh.".. Great tune.
9:30-10:01 Holy shit with the horn dude. I get they slightly cut you off but laying on the horn that long you're a lunatic. Chill the fuck out!
Dude needs anger management classes no doubt.
Yeah, this isn't normal for Minnesota, in my opinion. I hardly ever hear someone honk, and hardly use my own horn.
thats what i thought too! felt a little excessive
#28 - I didn’t know they had palm trees all the way up there in Grand Rapids. 🤔
@@durwoodrobison7800also, don’t forget the Bojangles billboard. But the most obvious clue it’s probably in the south is the license plate of the white car and no plates on the front of any other cars.

@@dubzack344 haha, that confirms it!
@thebikeman yeah I had to full screen on a tablet to barely see the sign.
#26. Yeah you got yourself on camera in the wrong.
These comments "I got you on Camera" only matter in the case of accidents. Otherwise, the other driver could give fifty f**ks that you do. They're gonna do what they're gonna do.

A Wisconsin plate...not surprised lol
Well said! 👏
Good ole Minnesota drivers! If it rains, pedal to the metal. If it snows, pedal to the metal. If it’s dark, drive how you want! 👍🏻😂
Remind me never to visit Minnesota...... 🤣🤣😂😂
@@Android_Warrior I'm just reminding you never to drive through Minnesota.... You didn't say how long I had to wait to remind you so I figured 4 hours is plenty

#31 Legend has it the cammer is still honking to this very day
Right😂😂😂
#32 You’re listening to Nickleback, you deserve to be backed into! 🤣
You are cringe. I hope someone backs into you 🙃
Wrong nickelback is a GREAT Band shut up
I can’t count how many times I drive giving space between and the driver in front of me. Fast traffic always comes to a complete stop from 65mph to 0 I see the car behind me slamming on the brakes so I move into the emergency lane to avoid them rear ending me is because no one is paying attention to how traffic is slowing down.
I put on 300-500 miles a day durijg the week in the twin cities, none of this surprises me
8. I was like "well, that doesn't look too bad, a bit overdramatic to get posted here" then the guy blows by on the sidewalk
31 needs their horn rights revoked that was ridiculous.
Yeah that's what I thought😂
The amount of people that don't know how roundabouts work is disturbing. They should automatically have their license suspended and have to retake the driving test, that includes driving in a roundabout. It is way too easy for anyone to get a driver's license in the US.
MN drivers get a C. Normal amount of bad. MN cammers get a D+ for thinking they're better than the others when they're doing just as badly 😂
Best advice for Minnesotan drivers. Stay as far away from the metro as you can.
#48 really thought they were in the right turning into someone else’s lane 😂
That was "someone else's lane." The cammer was making a turn into it, making it the cammer's lane. The person turning right on red is supposed to yield.
7:30 ANOTHER example of why there needs to be a FEDERAL law to force states to make right turn into right lanes and vice versa into law. This is plain, common sense. If you want to be in the left lane, then treat it as a lane change and signal your intent and make sure the lane is clear!!!!! This should not be classified as an accident, it's a FREAKIN CRIME!
When you're featured in not one but two separate dash cam videos...🤣
#26: What exactly did the driver of the grey SUV do??? He was ahead of you in the right hand lane and made a safe merge, no drama, just be a nice human being and let him in, see? Easy! Did you expect him to hit the barriers???
Some people just need to whine. She's one of them!
All this did was reiterate how horrible we are at zipper merging.
Which clip failed to zipper? Zipper merging isnt law, its merely a suggestion. Nobody has to zipper merge.
@ItsmeBish584 And it's a great suggestion You must be from Minnesota yourself since you are steadfast on not doing the right thing 😂 shutter
@@ItsmeBish584 it is a law in MN.
Minnesota drivers sure do seem to like that old classical music

#13 slowing down for a signaled turn is not "break checking" you! The same Jeep did however "break check" #16
This video really show that they cant drive up there at all it seams like the people with the dash cams are the worst driver of all.
It would appear to me, according to the video, the real problem is that people need to slow down and quit being so impatient. Maybe then people would not end up in car accidents and have road rage incidents
#26 do you know what a merge is?
Things I have noticed. You can't totally rely on your side mirrors. You do know that your head can turn to the side so you can see you're blind spot. Also, on a one-way two lane road, why do people seem to think it is ok to make a left-hand turn from the far right lane?😊😊😊😊😊😊
💯
Man, Grand Rapids looks a little bit different here.

The parking lot in 1:53 is the worst one in the state.

I tried to picture how that must have been. Then we got a 3 foot snowfall in Los Alamos where the plowed up banks were as high as buses' roofs and I knew what she meant.
