If you want to do a factory reset: Press the function button. Then use right arrow key to get to other, right arrow then choose reset, press enter then yes, it will say sure? then press yes, then it will say wait. When it's finished it will be like it was when first powered on.
Yes still playing the Ct-X5000. If I was going to upgrade on an arranger keyboard, I would go with the one of the top models, either by Yamaha, Korg, Roland, ETC. But I don't see the need to upgrade for what I do with the Casio. I wanted a lower priced arranger keyboard that had speakers, so I could just turn it on and play.
I have a CTX 5000 and I also own a tyros 3.. The CTX is so practical and easier to move around..Still love it so much tbh.. I hope Casio use the Aix chip in a 76 arranger within the in next 2 years.. I hate the look of the 2 keyboards they produced earler this year..CTS 1000 etc . The tyros 3 is a lovely machine with a different personality with richer more complex styles and better sound sampling across the WHOLE scale..
@@manjsingh5073 Yes, the tyros is a much better sounding keyboard, and the price reflects that. The CT-X5000, was the top of the CTX line when i bought it. Like you said, it is a very portable keyboard, and AIX chip does sound good. I think some of the newer Casios, came out to fill a certain market segment. Thanks for commenting!
Kinda regret my Purchase of the CT-X5000 for it's price you can get an 88 Keys Casio Privia or other Electric Pianos with weighted Keys. But for what it is, it is pretty good, and its soundslibrary is by worlds better than what Yamaha sells as modern keyboards.
If your talking about the key bed, it's better than some people say it is. Too many people are comparing this to a keyboard costing much, much more, or an actual piano. That's not a fair comparison. I own a lot of keyboards, and the key beds are different on all of them. I have been bashing the keys on this Casio for years now, they still work as well as when I bought it new. Good players adapt quickly to different key beds / keyboards. With that being said. if someone is a beginner, they usually don't have a comparison to any key bed. The best thing to do, is go to a music store and try it, and compare to other keyboards, then choose what works best for you! Hope this helps.👍
